It's days like these, rain hitting the window in harsh taps and angry wind blowing, when the nostalgia hits the hardest. After all, you were always one to dwell on the past. It's just what you do. 

Every day felt the same after the two of you broke things off. You don't even remember why exactly you even ended it in the first place. The pain still sits deep, coming to haunt you when you least expect it. 

Rainy days like those just trigger the nostalgia, the memories and bygone feelings. 

It's 12pm when you check your phone, yet you're still laying in bed. The lack of motivation due to this sudden wave of sadness is something you're not experiencing for the first time. 

And it's killing you slowly. These feelings are eating you up from the inside out. 

Without even realizing, tears are running down your cheeks in even, salty streams. 

"Why am I even crying…" You mumble and lift your arm to cover your face, trying to make it stop. "God, I'm so pathetic" 

You try to manage to stop your tears, wrist harshly rubbing your eyes. After a minute or so, you succeed in stopping them. 

instead pick up your phone, unlocking it and opening Instagram. 

One peek won't hurt, right…? 

His name at the top of your searches seems to be mocking you as you hover your finger above it. Should you really do it? What if he found someone new and his profile is filled with couple pictures? Or what if he feels nothing and is glad to be alone? What if, what if, what if…

"Fuck it" you hiss and tap on his username, his profile popping up after a brief second of loading the page. 

He… hasn't posted anything for a few months, his last post being from October last year. 

Oh for fucks sake… is this a good sign or not? It could mean he's been seeing someone new, but it could also mean he's just been living his life like usual. 

So many possibilities, yet no resolution seems to be in sight. 

"This is so annoying, oh my gooood" You groan and smack your head into your pillow, laying sprawled out like a star with an annoyed pout on your face. 

"It's been a god damn year," You grumble, "why do I still feel like this?" 

The sound of your fist hitting the mattress of your bed is dull, not the way you wanted it to sound. "I hate this, UGHH" The frustration in your voice is for sure loud and clear, accentuated well by the 'ugh'. 

This whole situation is stressing you out. "I need a shower.." You mumble, absent-minded, as you fling the covers back and swing your legs over the edge of your bed.

Despite the gloomy weather, you decided to take a walk outside. The rain still hasn't let up, droplets of it occasionally hitting your face. 

"Why is it so cold today? It's already spring…" You mumble quietly to yourself, eyes strictly trained on the path in front of your feet and head held low. 

You're so lost in your thoughts, you don't see the person headed your way. 

And apparently, the person doesn't seem to notice you as well. So your shoulders collide and you stumble, umbrella falling out of your hand and fast quick steps to regain your balance. 

"I'm so sorry! Are you al-" The man rushes to apologize, but his words get stuck in his throat as he takes in who he just, quite literally, stumbled into. 

Rain has hit you mercilessly, soaking you from head to toe within seconds as you stand there, paralyzed. "Baek…Baekhyun?" 

His eyes are wide and mouth slightly open in shock as he doesn't know what to say or do. 

He hasn't seen or talked to you in at least nine or ten months for sure. What is he even supposed to say? "Yeah… it's- it's surely been a while" he dumbly answers. "Ah! Your umbrella!" Baekhyun rushes to pick it up and hold it over your figure. 

But the damage is already done. 

You're shivering, dripping with water but still you've a tiny smile on your lips at the sight of him. 

You delicately take hold of the handle, fingers gently enclosing around the man's hand. 

He doesn't move to let go, just standing there and staring into your eyes. "I-" 

You cut him off by mistake with a sneeze, the cold creeping in deep. It feels like your bones might freeze, grasp around both Baekhyun's hand and the handle of your umbrella tightening, muscles contracting to desperately stay warm. "S-Sorry for interrupting you" You say, teeth clattering and eyes averting. 

"No no don't worry about it!" He insists, "but we should get you home, your hand is cold as ice, Y/N" 

"Ah… you're right" You nod and he flashes you a warm smile. 

"Do you still live in the same apartment or did you move?" Baekhyun asks, back to being concerned about your wellbeing now. 

"I- I still live in the same place" You reply, your free hand holding onto your jacket for warmth, but in vain. 

"That's too far away, my place is way closer" He objects and gently pulls you along, "come on, let's get you freshened up before you really get sick" 

You only manage an awkward nod and let him lead you along, a surprisingly pleasant silence engulfing you two.

Baekhyun unlocks the door to his apartment and firstly puts both of your umbrellas away, taking off his wet shoes in the process and you follow along. 

"Come on, I'll show you the bathroom" He says and you tag after him. 

He opens the door, turns on the light and quickly pulls out two towels for you. "You can just use my shampoo, I don't have anything suitable here for you, sor-" 

"Thank you" you break his rambling. "You wouldn't need to do this, so thank you" 

Baekhyun smiles softly, although his eyes tell a different story. "I'll bring you some clothes in a bit, okay?" 

"Mhm" you nod and give him a curt bow before he leaves the room, shutting the door behind him. 

You waste no time in stepping out of your soaked clothes and into the shower. 

You set the water to a nice warm temperature and rinse off the cold first, feeling relieved. 

Then there's a knock. "Hey Y/N, I'm putting some clothes on top of the washing machine for you now" he announces before opening the door, doing as he said and then leaving just as quickly as he came. 

"Still the considerate guy he always was…" You mumble with a sad smile, old memories coming back to haunt your mind with sweet images of the two of you. Him always knocking before he'd enter a room you would be in to announce himself. 

You loved that about him, he was always mindful of others and you're happy to see it hasn't changed at all.

You finished quickly and put on the clothes he gave you. Some boxers and a way too big on you, black shirt. You dried your hair as best as you could with the towel he gave you and made sure you don't look like a lion by patting down your hair a bit. 

"Baekhyun?" You timidly call out after opening the door a bit. 

"Yeah?" He replies and you hear his footsteps approach. "What is it?" 

"Uhm- Where to put my wet clothes?" You ask. 

"Oh- Hold on, I'll put them in the washing machine" He says with big eyes and opens the machine for you to put them in. "I'll dry them after they're washed so you can change back, alright?" 

You nod quickly and thank him quietly. He opens the machine and you put your clothes inside, him doing the rest. 

"So, uh-" 

"Do you want some water?" He quickly asks, ears flaring red as he avoids your eyes. 

"Sure" you squeak back and follow him into the kitchen. He gets a glass out of a cupboard and fills it with water before handing it to you. 

You nip at the liquid as Baekhyun leans against the countertop adjacent to you, eyes taking in your figure. 

He missed seeing you in his clothes, you always looked so good in them. He just missed you in general. 

The reason why the two of you broke up a year ago? 

Baekhyun remembers it all too well. 

It was a work related thing actually. The two of you worked in different shifts and barely saw each other, yet alone had time for any couple stuff. 

Free days? Spent alone or arguing about never seeing each other. 

And at one point you had said to just break up. In that moment Baekhyun felt like he was hit by lightning, body stiff and eyes wide. He couldn't believe what he heard. Baekhyun felt anxiety cursing through his veins as his brain processed your words.

You had told him that you wouldn't hate him, but that your situation at that time just didn't allow any dating. The two of you never had hard feelings about the outcome, but it was hard to suddenly go back to being alone. 

And now you're here, in his apartment, wearing his clothes and smelling just like him. He can't believe this is happening. 

"Uhm, so" You speak up after setting the glass down on the other counter behind you. Your hands come up to grab the surface besides your waist and you avoid the man's eyes. 

"Yes?" Baekhyun can't help the hopeful hint in his voice as he urges you to continue your thoughts. 

"How has life been for you?" 

A chuckle escaped his lips at your question, shoulders jumping up and down in the process before he answered. "It's been rather boring but nice, if you get what I mean? I found a different job and work from home now" 

You nod quietly, "I've also found a new job and my shifts are less hectic" 

"Have you… found someone new?" 

You halt at his inquiry, gears in your mind temporarily stopping and he seems to take the lacking answer the wrong way. A frown pulls at his normally friendly and soft expression, making him look grumpy and bothered. "I see" 

"No, no! I- I haven't found anyone!" You quickly say, "I just… I couldn't move on" 

His expression changes to a sad smile, although he's kind of glad you're still somehow his. "Me neither" 

You scoff lightly, a cheeky smirk suddenly on your face. "No wonder, nobody could put up with your annoying ass anyway" 

"Hey!" He exclaims in shock. 

"I'm joking, I'm joking!" You insist, holding your stomach and laughing. "You're bearable most of the time" 

"That doesn't make it any better!" Baekhyun whines and you laugh out loud, hand flying up to cover your mouth. 

"Still the cocky little girl you've always been" He fires back and you snort. 

"Like you're one to talk" You roll your eyes at him and he exhales through his nose. 

His hands grab you by the collar of his shirt you're wearing and unexpectedly pull you into him. You squeal, hands shooting up to brace against his broad chest and you look up to be met by his cocky smile. "You never knew when to stop, no change at all there" he playfully nags. 

"Shut up" You weakly fight back. 

Baekhyun chuckles and you feel the rumble drumming against the palms of your hands. "How come you haven't moved on?" 

You lower your head, hands fumbling with his shirt. "Well… I came to the conclusion that just nobody could replace you. Nobody could love me like you did…" You mumble against his chest and Baekhyun feels a smile creeping up on his face. 

"I felt the same" He whispers back and his arms move to pull you into him more by your waist. 

After hearing that, you look back up at him with big eyes. "Really?" 

He nods and flashes you a bright smile. "Even though we fought a lot and barely had time for each other, I never stopped loving you" 

"Shut up" You almost whimper and move your hands to pull him closer by the back of his neck, lips meeting in the middle. 

Baekhyun's eyes almost fell out of their sockets before he came to his senses. 

One of his hands found its place on the back of your head as he moved his lips against yours with fervor. He greedily breathes you in, not wanting this to end as moves his mouth against yours. 

You shiver when his tongue meets yours and that's when you draw the line… for now. 

He chases after you for a second and you chuckle, dazed eyes meeting yours. "Slow down tiger" you say and peck the corner of his mouth. 

"Okay, okay" He smiles and pulls you in for a hug, "will you let me love you again?" 

"You bet"

I imagine Leia slapping him as he’s about to go off to do something dumb and reckless that would endanger her son/other members of the resistance.

• Do you think the amphibinuns on Ahch-to will speak basic?

I was actually just wondering about this the other day. I think they could be bilingual like Maz - they speak basic with Luke but make snide comments about him in their own tongue, lol

• How do you picture Finn and Phasma’s fight going? Does she unmask?

He’s totally going to win that one but I don’t think Phasma would willingly unmask during their fight. Perhaps Finn knocks it off her head somehow? That would be different.

• Will Rey call him Kylo or Ben?

I think Leia and Luke will be the only ones to call him Ben in tlj but maaybe Rey will do that in episode ix.

• How does Rey get the cut on her shoulder?

Could be during a fight with the praetorian guards. A few of them look like they wield weapons that can make that sort of cut.

• Favorite piece of SW music?

Ahh I really can’t pick just one. Across the Stars is beautiful, I love the harp that plays that motif at the end. Rey’s Theme is lovely and March of the Resistance never fails to get me HYPED.

I think their fight will show that despite Rey’s inexperience, she and Kylo are meant to be equals so no I don’t think there will be a clear winner.

ughh it’s pathetic. I’m still on the lookout for that short clip of Rose that Rachael saw. I NEEEEED IT.

But if the show is using romance to get people talking/debating, it's not working, like at all. The ratings for the last ep, which was heavy on a ship, received the lowest ratings since 2012. There is huge backlash to this ep on TWD Facebook page. Whatever their reasons, a lot GA fans don't like r!ch0nne and ultimately it's The GA TPTB have to think about. Putting Daryl in a ship could turn a lot of fans away and they can't afford to lose any more viewers.

Read more because this is huge. Also, if you are a R!chonne fan, it would be better to just skip it. I’m leaving out of the tags cause I don’t want to bring negativity to the ship or the fandom. But I don’t ship R!chonne, so it won’t be a positive post about them, so ignore it if you like the pairing :)

I think what are you failing to see is that, first of all, Caryl is not R!chonne. It’s not a surprise here that I’m not a R!chonne fan and I don’t like what the relationship is doing with one of my favorites female character, but I’ll try my best to answer this without my bias getting in the way.

There are a few problems with R!chonne that I think could be the cause of why the episode wasn’t well received (besides racism, because we know this is one of the reasons why some people don’t like them together), and also a few problems with the structure of the show that didn’t help the episode.

1. Their canon:

Gimple dropped the ball big time with how he made R!chonne happen imo. Before season 5, I used to ship them a lot. Their interactions during season 4 and part of season 5 were perfect and totally created the perfect setup for them to be one of the most iconic couples in the show. But then J3ssick happened. And you see, the problem is not having a midship in the middle of it. The problem is having R!ck lusting after Jessie and completely forgetting about M!chonne and what they had together. Sure, they traded some looks here and there, and it was clear he had no chemistry at all with Jessie, and let’s be honest, that couple was ughh, but the fact remains that R!ck couldn’t stop going after jessie and that could be a huge turn off to people when it comes to R!chonne. It’s hard for you to believe that these two people love each other when M!chonne didn’t seem to bother with R!ck and his new gf (don’t get me wrong, I thank God that she didn’t, cause I’m honestly not here for Ricardo Grimes having two women fighting for him) and when we have R!ck, just one episode prior to their canon, having flashbacks of Jessie and all the (five) moments they spent together flashing to the whole public and him suffering while having to kill her. Many of the complains about R!chonne was that it seemed out of nowhere, and honestly, it did. If Gimple had taken at least 2 or 3 episodes to build something back and then having them going canon, it would be way better.

2. The lack of development:

After dropping the ball completely when it comes to their canon, Gimple made another huge mistake: didn’t give R!chonne time to develop their relationship on season 6. So we ended the season they went canon without any other significant moment that could stick with GA and solidified them as a couple. They shared a few scenes here and there, but there wasn’t nothing substantial as them trying to navigate through this relationship. It seemed like they simply fell into this thing and that’s it, no need to explore what all of this could mean for them, for Carl and Judith.

3. Screentime doesn’t equal to quality time

Then we have a huge shift when it comes to season 7a. R!chonne is in every episode together and sharing  lot of screentime. But, this doesn’t mean that what they shared was something that helped GA connect with them as a couple. Their scenes were mainly about what was happening with N3gan and his monologues, and the little interesting storylines we could have that could make them be interesting to the public, they dropped… again. Like M!chonne not agreeing with R!ck’s attitude when it came to how he was handling N3gan. That last only one episode and then it was over. I feel that this is more a problem related to how everything needed to be about N3gan and it certainly hurt what could have been good moments for them, but the audience was finding it hard to connect with anything on 7a, R!chonne unfortunately wasn’t an exception.

4. M!chonne disappearing in the relationship.

Maybe this point is the one that my bias will be super clear. M!chonne was one of my favorite characters of twd. Any episode that had her as a focus, I was already down for it, simply because it was her. But since her and R!ck started this relationship, her whole storyline is centered on the Grimes family, and specially, on R!ck’s character, and this sucks big time. Where are their conversations about how SHE feels when it comes to Glenn being dead? Where are the conversations about M!chonne having to kill a teenager, when she was a mother herself? Where are their conversations about Andre? Her struggles after she lost her son? What she went through while she was alone out there? Where is she talking about Andrea to Rick? How their friendship changed her? If R!ck has the time to talk about judith and the whole shane/lori storyline, why M!chonne doesn’t get the same?

And since when M!chonne would be the kind of character who would simply give up at the prospect of R!ck dying? M!chonne, who loves Carl and Judith more than anything?

M!chonne’s storyline revolves around R!ck now, and this can be another reason why people feel hard to connect with this relationship, since M!chonne is a fan favorite and people are expecting more of her story than just being R!ck’s partner and the person who supports him.

Do I think it’s an important relationship in terms of representation? Yep, I do. It’s the powerful black female character with the white leading man, we don’t see this in television very often, it’s a huge slap in the face of racists assholes. But I still think this relationship could be better, could be done better, and if they are not careful with how they are treating M!chonne in all of this, this might be more harmful than helpful.

The thing though, that you need to understand, is that the problem doesn’t rely on R!chonne happening, but in how it’s been conducted. The whole TWD problems is about how they are making things happening. R!chonne is just one more reflection on how TPTB is not handling well their own show, how they are not being careful with how things happen and how to make it happen in the best way to draw GA viewers to their arcs. It could happen with Caryl as well? Yep, absolutely. They could fuck it up and turn the relationship in something not satisfying to anyone (shippers and GA). But putting them together is not an issue, and never was. Carol and Daryl are two of the most popular characters in the entire show, and GA as a whole already considers them “a thing” even without canon. Their story revolves around how powerful their relationship always were, and if they do it right, it will be even more interesting to see them navigating their relationship. Daryl Dixon being paired with Carol is not something that will drive fans away. It might drive some of his ageist fans away, which let’s be honest, it’s great for him, since they are the worst part of his fan base. The character maybe will be able to finally be discussed for his interesting arcs or development, instead of “when Daryl will finally hook up with someone?”. The worst thing that happened to Daryl was to become the cash cow. And that happened on season 4, when he became this huge product rather than a good character with interesting arcs. His highest moments were season 1/2/3, and it was what made him popular. And it’s not coincidence that it was when he has this storyline with Carol going on and interesting arcs that were focused not on his man pain and him crying to make fan girls go nuts, but arcs that focused on his struggles and his past, and the abuse he suffered, and him finding himself having feelings for someone and wanting to take care of his family.

People tend to forget I think that Daryl is only what he is today because of his storyline with Carol. If it wasn’t for that, he would be just one more “one note character”.

Shower Surprise

Author’s notes: Ok, so I’ve hardly written anything other than research papers and the only creative writing I’ve done was also mandatory for school, so this is definitely a first for me. I just got this idea in my head and couldn’t get rid of it. So I figured, why not write it down? Here it is, I hope it doesn’t totally suck and that you enjoy it. Please send me feedback. Like seriously, let me know what you think and send me any suggestions that might improve my writing. It’s going to be a series, I don’t know how many parts it will have. I’ll just keep writing until an ending comes to me or you all tell me it sucks and I decide to stop torturing you with it.

Part 2

“Ughh…” You gritted out as you leaned forward into the shower stream to allow it to flow over your face and down your back, washing away all grime of today’s hunt. You watched as the water, heavily tinted with blood, swirled around your feet before rushing down the drain. Damn, you had hated vampires from day one, but especially so right now. 

 You hardly ever joined the brothers on a hunt, and it was even rarer for you to join in the fighting. You had been with them ever since the boys saved you from a douche bag of a vampire bent on turning you all those years ago. You found a niche with the Winchesters by holding down the bunker and doing research. You cleaned, cooked, made supply runs, and cared for the boys and anyone else in the strange extended family who happened to stop by. But your passion was digging through the lore and finding solutions and information to help Sam and Dean. Which really worked out in your favor since you were never much of a fighter, not physically at least, and you were a lot more afraid of facing the things that go bump than the boys were. You only assisted in that regard when they were really desperate; like they had been today. 

 You were pretty beat up to say the least. Two vamps got the jump on you and gave you a thorough ass beating before the boys could give you any backup. You had several large gashes and dark purple bruises covering your ribs and back, a few down on your legs as well. Sam stitched you up as best as he could, but you knew you would take a long time to recover. So you just stood there, with your arms braced against the back of the shower, allowing the hot water to roll over your face and let your mind wander to anything but today. Wander… wander… and damn if it didn’t wander somewhere you didn’t really want it to go; right to Lucifer.

Your mind had been wandering to Lucifer more and more here lately and you just couldn’t understand why. You hadn’t known him as long as Sam and Dean. You weren’t a hunter yet when they started, and ended, the Apocalypse. But you were around, and right in the middle of the whole mess with Amara. You had been down in Hell when Cas and Sam ended up in the cage with him; you spent countless hours trying to track him down and get him out of Cas; and you had been stuck in the middle of Lucifer, Chuck, and the boys as they were trying to sort out their issues and get their shit together to stop Amara. Why did it seem like you were the only one with a level head in this weird family?

Lucifer had never exactly been nice to you, but he was always less harsh than he was with everyone else, but since Chuck and Amara had made up and Chuck ordered him to stay with you guys, he had become more and more pleasant, kind even, at least to you. He was still a snarky ass for the most part, but the two of you had become friends of sorts. It showed most in the way he actually helped you around the bunker, even if it was just sitting in the library with you as you did research so you weren’t there all alone; and he always answered your prayers much in the same way Cas always answered Dean’s.

But the way you had been thinking about him lately was… different. It was more fantasizing than anything else and it made you uncomfortable when you realized you were doing it. Why did his Nick vessel have to be so damn attractive? You always forced yourself to think of something different when you caught yourself doing it; but not this time. You allowed yourself to give in as the sound of the shower filled your ears and drowned out the world. The way he towered over almost everyone else, over you, damn he was huge. About how tight his pants were, especially in the front, giving your imagination plenty of fuel. About how nice it would be to have him hold you in his arms; or pin you to the bed while he…

What the fuck is that?!

Why did these weekly meetings about the current state of Hell have to be so boring? Holy fuck, is he actually still talking?, Lucifer wondered as he half listened to the demon standing before him, apparently still giving some sort of presentation about soul collection numbers. He only attended these meetings because out of necessity to reinforce that he was king; that and apparently it was frowned upon for a king to be completely disconnected from his subjects. So he showed up every week and sat on the throne in front of a committee of what he believed to be the dumbest demons Hell had to offer. Maybe I should just kill him and be done with it… 

Lucifer’s mind wandered quite a bit during this meeting, as it did in every meeting, as he was only half listening to what his idiotic minions had to say. He thought about a wide variety of things, from new ways to torture Crowley, to why humans were so fascinated with the one they called “The Science Guy.” But often his thoughts were turned towards a very particular hunter he knew. You were constantly on his mind, and he had no idea why. He was drawn to you and often wondered if you felt the same pull towards him. The harder he tried not to think about you, the more he inevitably did. The way your hair would fall across your face as you read… How you always smelled of old books and cinnamon… How the shirts you wore always conformed so snugly to your figure…

I’ve had about as much of this as I can stomach, Lucifer decided as he shifted in his seat, preparing to obliterate the moron who was still somehow rambling on when suddenly he heard it; a prayer, your prayer, to him and he froze. It wasn’t a prayer of words, but of intense need and urgency and… desire? He thought he had felt it before, short bursts of this intense feeling, but they were fleeting and he always wrote them off as nothing more than his desire for a good excuse to leave; but not this time. This time there was no mistaking it for an overactive imagination. It was coming through loud and clear, growing stronger every minute. Forgetting that that he was in a meeting, Lucifer took off at once for the source of the prayer.

Boy was he in for a shock when he landed. What the fu—ah… Lucifer suddenly found himself standing behind you in the back of your shower, being hit by the few errant jets of water that sprayed too far out from the shower head. It took him a moment to realize where he was, but when he did he froze. There you were, standing in front of him and leaning against the back of the shower, completely exposed and… and… What the fuck happened to you?! You were in the worst state he had ever seen you in; there were livid bruises everywhere, an alarming number of deep gashes mingled throughout, and he could even sense a few fractures. He remembered you mentioning that the boys needed you to help with some fieldwork on a hunt, but how could they let this happen?

As he stood there looking at you, Lucifer began to feel a fire beginning to rise up within him, but it wasn’t just anger. He had always been able to fight down this strange feeling you seemed to trigger in him, but not this time. Injured as you were, being here and seeing you like this, still feeling your prayer of nothing but need for him, it was affecting him. Lucifer noticed that it was causing a physical reaction as well; the front of his jeans began to grow tighter and stretch to accommodate this new change. He snapped his fingers ever so softly, instantly removing his clothes to see what was happening to himself. Interesting, he thought, turning his attention back to you. There would be time to explore this new feeling later, but now you needed his healing; without hesitation, Lucifer reached out as he felt your prayer beginning to wane and placed his hand right between your shoulder blades and allowed his grace to flow out and repair all the damage of this hunt. 

You had been so lost in your fantasy that you didn’t hear the familiar rustle of wings as Lucifer landed behind you. And you certainly didn’t hear the soft snap of his fingers as he removed his clothes. You did, however, feel his hand when he placed it on your back, sending you into panic mode. What the fuck is that was all you had time to think before you felt it, that ice cold wave of relief that washed over you, soothing every ache and injury before it withdrew and you felt the hand leave your back. You barely had time to process that you had just been healed when you heard a familiar voice come from behind you.

“What have those idiots done to you?!” 

“Ah!” You let out a small cry and jumped, nearly causing you to slip and fall. The slick floor of the shower made it difficult for you to turn with any sort of dignity or grace, but you were too flustered to care about that at the moment. As you came to a stop finally facing him you threw out your left arm to brace yourself against the side of the shower. There he was, just standing there staring down at you with anger and concern and something you couldn’t quite place all mingled in his eyes. “Lucifer, what the fu–” you started, but were quickly cut off as he reached forward to try to turn you from side to side and examine you. “Hey, cut it out! And what the fuck are you doing here?” You demanded as you unsuccessfully tried to pull away, almost falling for a second time, which only made Lucifer tighten his grip on your arm. 

“Y/N, what do you mean, what am I doing here? You were the one who prayed to me, I was just responding to it,” he countered, but his tone had softened and taken on a note of confusion. Finally satisfied that you were completely healed, he released you and stopped his examination. You already had your usual attitude back which he took as a good sign. Unfortunately, that, combined with seeing your naked body healed and in glistening in the stream of the shower only stoked the new fire burning in his gut, and pushed his physical reaction further. He stared down at you and tried to keep his blue eyes locked on to your Y/E/C ones, afraid you might notice them wander. You didn’t seem to realize yet that you were both standing there naked and only a foot or so apart; that was about to change.

‘You were the one that prayed to me…’ What did that mean? You hadn’t been praying; you were… Oh no. “I-I didn’t mean to pray, it was an accident. I was just…” You started to stammer out in response, but when you broke eye contact to look down in your embarrassment you finally noticed the elephant in the room. You were naked; naked in front of your favorite archangel. And so was he! You had intended to look at the floor, but instead ended up staring right at his massive erection. You were only stunned momentarily, suddenly remembering your own exposed state. Removing your left arm from the wall of the shower, you threw it across your breasts, while simultaneously using your right hand to cover your crotch as best you could. 

“Lucifer, seriously what the fuck?!” You shouted as you took a half step back and redirected your attention from his cock back to his face, just in time to see disappointment flit across his face before he resumed his usual mask of indifference. 

“I really don’t know why you’re so worked up. You were the one who wanted me here so badly I heard it as a prayer, which I was gracious enough to answer, hence the fact that I am here. And I may not have much experience with showers, but I do know that no one takes one with their clothes on, so I decided to do away with them.” Lucifer answered, his voice condescending as ever. “But,” he continued, “you still haven’t  answered my question. What have those damned idiots done to you?”

You stiffened as the tone of his voice quickly changed. There was no mistaking the anger in his words. Why did he care if you were hurt on a hunt? He didn’t even like humans. He just disliked you less than most of the others, right?

“They haven’t done anything to me.” You shot at him. “A few vamps got the drop on me because I wasn’t paying enough attention; it was my fault and if Sam and Dean hadn’t…”

“If Sam and Dean hadn’t drug you out into danger where you don’t belong then you wouldn’t have gotten hurt in the first place!” Lucifer cut you off, his anger taking the forefront of his emotions. Why did you always defend them like this when they didn’t even realize or appreciate your value? He had placed his hands on his hips and was leaning forward, bringing his face down and closer to yours. You were frustratingly short at times.

“What do you mean ‘where I don’t belong’? I’m a hunter! That’s exactly where I belong!” You we’re yelling quite loudly by this point, but you didn’t care. Your room was furthest from the main room and no one was going to hear you over whatever they were doing. Forgetting your nudity, you placed your hands on your hips and took an angry step forward, almost closing the space between you. You stood on your tip-toes, bringing your face within inches of his. Trying to bring your anger under control you dropped your voice back to a more normal volume, but there was no mistaking the anger and indignation that dripped from your words. “Just because I don’t go out and fight very often doesn’t mean I can’t handle myself! The boys needed help and they had no one else to ask so I went. I’m a grown ass woman and I can do that if I want to. What does it even matter to you anyways? Why do you care if I get a little hurt on a hunt?”
