Honestly, he never thought that he’d hear those words in a voice other than his own... Varian had been attempting to present his newest experiment to the stragglers who had seen fit to stop and pay attention, but with the unending comments about ‘magic’ that quickly dispersed throughout them— he hadn’t even gotten a chance to explain his product before they reared their ugly head —he is quick to abandon that task in favor of speaking to the unfamiliar teen instead.
