He had taken the time to actually reunite with the woman that he once called his Lady. Whilst his wife left to reunite with Serendine first thing, Dragul on the other hand wanted to go somewhere personal. Whilst the area he stood was completely different it was still where his family’s stronghold stood. Simpler days, days where his older brother was not the malicious person he had grown into, there was a time he showed kindness. There was a time the name ‘Junior’ had been given to him with familial fondness. It was just a shame the way things turned out, if there was one thing he would have done differently is acted on his heart and keep his Lady safe, not as the duckling that pined for her feelings butas the knight that had sworn to protect her.

Though before it became too late Dragul made his way back into the main town, hearing that his beloved had gone with the queen for a much deserved treatment into the palace. The source of this news was the princess (queen?) of the land himself: Serendine. A smile found its way upon his scaly visage. Eyes that once looked upon him with uncertainty and regret now looked upon him with familiarity and love. “My Lady, it’s been far too long.” With a bow he then greets her.

Their reunion was as great as he imagined, even now it felt like he had been reunited with a part of himself as no words could describe his happiness as she suggested the two take a walk under the night that was still young.

Six years. It had been that long since she last saw him. Serendine had, of course heard how he and Sahel were doing thanks to Kagome, Mystras, and Akihiro’s visits, but her former knight and handmaiden had not taken the chance to visit her until now. Considering all the work they had to do with making the second Sindria happen, it was understandable why they did not have the time until after it was completed. 

Regardless, the queen is overjoyed at their visit. Once she found out they were here, Serendine pulled out all the stops to make sure they would have a wonderful time. The best Parthevia could offer would be laid at their feet, a loving gift from the queen of this land to her dear friends who had made time to visit her. Not only that, considering the trouble they’d all had due to Kagome’s coma (something she did not blame them for, but rather the idiot king and his snake), some time to enjoy themselves was much warranted. And what a nice way to start then to take a nice stroll with the man she once knew as Dragul while his wife and queen were settling in at the palace?

“You really haven't changed at all, Drakon. Even after all these years not being at my side, you still call me lady. It’s sweet. Though, you know you don’t need to be so formal with me, but knowing you, you’ll still be so anyway. Kagome’s probably still getting used to that, huh?” Serendine was well aware of Kagome’s anxiety regarding the changes being a queen would bring, but the royal had assured her she would be just fine, especially with her surrounded by good people. It was a luxury the Parthevian did not have aside from her little brother, another reason she cherished these visits so much.

A hand moves to gently grasp Drakon’s scaled ones, Serendine trying to direct them to a more quieter part of the capital. “You must forgive me for not being able to attend you and Kagome’s weddings, Drakon. I very much wanted to attend, but...I know how things are in your country. I do hope for Kagome’s sake Sinbad is treating her well and not just drinking from dawn till dusk and ignoring her needs.”
