@inverted-iris replied to your post:(I’m not going to be on here tonight since I’m on...
Ah, two things : O It’s not a doujinshi, but an officially sanctioned and published web manga (with released physical volumes now). Second thing is u can find all the raws (officially) here and there’s a ton of great Illya icons in them web-ace.jp/youngac…
Tumblr media
(Oh really? I can’t read Japanese, so I never know if there’s anything official about any of the stuff I find online. Although apparently there’s like 17 chapters of this thing?? And everything I’ve found translated only goes up to chapter 3?? I want more of this food-making shenanigans but alas, I know barely any Japanese so I would never get very far, I’d just be looking mindlessly at the drawings...ah well. At least I know now that there’s more out there, I just can’t read any of it)

10 Favorite Characters
Tagged by @pinkafropuffs (girl this are so fun to do, thank you!) about my 10 favorite characters so here we go-!
(y’all are ready to see how basic i am?)
1- N (Pokemon)
When will he return from the war-
Ferriswheel shipping flashbacks because honestly? When will Pokemon give us a character as good as N again
2- Edward Elric (Fullmetal Alchemist)
Ah, Fullmetal is basically responsible for me being a weeb lol
While everyone else can do an analysis of his complexity, I simply will say Edward is the sort of character I love as protagonists of anime-
Love how he isn’t either too serious or too goofy. Hmm it’s hard to me to say what I like specifically about him lol.
Maybe it’s just nostalgia
3- Edmond Dantes (Fate Grand Order)
Ah yes, the current husband of mine- discount Komaeda.
By seeing my art you should realize how much i love him lol
4- Nanami Kiryuu (Revolutionary Girl Utena)
YOu see, normally I DESPISE characters like Nanami, even after they develop as characters since most of the time they end up being “mean because inferiority complex” HOWEVER Nanami doesn’t have that, she is great and she know’s it!
(Also most of the time, these types of characters aren’t really used comically- and I don’t mean in the sense of “Haha the bully girl got what she deserved!” but instead of this character getting themselves in comical situations)
But it’s the way she matures across the show what made her my favorite among the cast. I love the cast and the show as a whole- but if I had to pick one character among them, it’s Nanami.
5- Akihiko Sanada (Persona 3)
I’VE BEEN WAITING FOR THIS-
But jokes aside Akihiko is my favorite character in Persona 3 (well....close tie with Shinjiro BUT).
He is just (lies on the floor) THE character I always romance because his route is just so cute and makes me feel warm and fuzzy having FEELINGS-
And I remember distincly rejecting his advances on accident and then realizing what I did and going “D:!!!!”
THis man right here was my REAL introduction to HAVING FEELINGS for anime men and I’ll never forgive HI-
6- Xion (Kingdom Hearts)
Shoutout to the firsts characters who I made deeper that the author intended.
If you ever have to fight agains me set it to Vector to the Heavens- if you have to avenge me set it to Another Side while you fight.
Do you fucking know how I was at 12 years old?? No friends, no homework playing KH 358/2 days??? How much I got attached to Roxas and Xion as a lonely girl who was just discovering things about friendship?
so I’ll ramble on about my interpretations on them because i’ll make it as deep as i want-
The way in which they form a friendship related on both knowing about the keyblade and having no memories from their previous life and the way in which it all comes tumbling down thanks to things outside of their control and how much they try to stop it-
The way Xion is willing to sacrifice herself for a greater good fully knowing that what the Organization is doing is bad and would endanger the worlds at large and how she, on her own accord, chooses to return her memories to sora even if it means dissapearing from the memories from everyone and truly dying in every sense of the world- all while having to run away from the organization because she would drain all the life from roxas because that was how she was created as a puppet-!
And the final clash! the way in which xion uses all of her power left to fight against the control of the organization because she wants roxas to slay her because she would rather die and lend her power to roxas instead of killing him and being used by the organization!
The way that final fight got integrated into the story! how she warns roxas when she will attack, or how she screams at him “STOP HOLDING BACK!” as her last efforts as an individual hanging to the remnants of their bond-!
As an extra note I’m so glad they didnt “end up together”- it was a good showcase of two teens who had a solid friendship that didn’t need to be turned into a romance because they already love eachother as friends!!!
So as you can see i have a lot of feelings for Xion-
7- Kishinami Hakuno (Fate/Extra)
SHOUTOUT to my favorite protagonist in the Fate Franchise she is so good and I just,,,,,,,,,love her?????
(if you pick Male Hakuno you are absolutely invalid)
So I completly love how she ends up inderectly being a subversion of the “amnesiac character self insert” because she NEEDS to start in a black slate for her to grow.
Love how sassy she can be in the dialouge options and SHE ALLOWED SABER ARCHER AND CASTER TO GROW AS PEOPLE and-
Play Fate/Extra
8-Kcalb (The Gray Garden)
He is so good :c when will he return from the hiatus.
Honestly he is the best character in the game and I love his interactions with Etihw and honestly he defined what 14 year old me loves in character design. AESTHETICS
9-Sonic (Sonic the Hedgehog)
Of Course I had to add the one who started this mess.
Sonic the Hedgehog deserves a better writting team than the one he has! SONIC’S CHARACTER PEAKED IN THE FICKUGGN SIDE GAME SONIC AND THE BLACK KNIGHT BUT EVERYONE IS LIKE “HAHA WHAT A BAD RETELLING OF ARTHURIANA”-
So anyways- Sonic the Hedgehog in the GOOD games with story is someone who never gives up no matter how hard or grim everything may seem, and how he shows kindness to those who needs it, who does what HE feels is the right thing, no matter what everyone else may say and maybe I’m reading too deep but this lil fucker whas the first videogame I ever *emulated* owned and had been a part of my childhood since I learned what the Internet was- I pirated the entire anime and took a REAL liking to drawing thanks to him.
Everyone out there in early 2010 tracing anime while I traced Sonic X screenshots lol
10-Steven Quartz Universe (Steven Universe)
I have a lot of feelings for Steven Universe as a show- and especially his protagonist.
When the show started everyone complained how annoying Steven was- but I never found him annoying? I really like how he has “traditionally femenine” traits and powers (healing, shielding, crying a lot) and isn’t shamed for it? The show has MANY problems but it I LOVE it.
And, since the start of the series I liked Steven, I love how he develops in the show, and honestly so many moments I saw myself in him- and then came Steven Universe Future which he explores his trauma after the events of the series- just everything about him just hit’s home- even more than I expected (the cactus Steven-)
How Steven goes from viewing the Gems as these all knowing powerful mother figures- and how he feels as if he has to live up to their expectations, and the impossible barrier set up by his mother at the start of the series-
(How later he view’s himself as a fraud- and how he doesn’t “pay the consequenses” and he is just “as bad as his mother”- the internalized self hatred, his drifting friends and represed trauma- I’m glad the show does this- I don’t think I would have self reflected as much as I did without this show)
Steven Universe is a show I hold close to my heart, so do I with it’s protagonist.
Haha I don’t feel like tagging people after that lol

You know, when I think about Gilgamesh (Fate Grand Asshole), I don’t know all that much about him. Sure, one look at him and you know he’s functionally a jobber, which perfectly matches the message of hubris we get from our grade school reading of the Epic of Gilgamesh... but thanks to his personality I really don’t want to explore his character. Or, rather, anything canon-wise would subject me to him if I wanted to learn more about him, and that’s too high a cost to pay.
However, the vary nature of the Epic of Gilgamesh puts Gil in a semi-unique position amongst servants. We know from servants like Robin Hood and Benkei that servants are not the historical/mythical figures, but rather mankind’s collective idea of them given form. Different aspects/perceptions of them can manifest with different classes, personalities, and abilities; as shown with Lancer of Black being stronger than normal due to being summoned for a grail war in Romania. Someone who has more experience with fate lore probably can explain it better, and with more Nasu flair, but let me play with my children’s toy conceptualization.
The Epic of Gilgamesh is a precarious source material to base the concept of Gilgamesh on, for two reasons. One, his ‘king of heroes’ status is largely based on being ‘the first,’ the origin of all myths of which heroes are based. While it is true that he perfectly embodies the ‘hero’s journey,’ being ‘the first’ in the Fate Universe translates to being ‘the earliest surviving’ in ours. While it is very unlikely older media would be dug up, even less likely that it overtakes Gil due to the wide spread of his epic back then, I ponder if even the threat of being usurped runs through his head. Remember, his personality is that he’s the king of heroes, his noble phantasm is due to him being the king of heroes. The heroes before him, legends told orally, are all dead. The heroes after him can all usurp him, should he ever fall out of humanity’s collective conscience in something like the burning of Persepolis (except with digital data or something, I don’t know, I didn’t understand the CCC event and haven’t played Extra).
The bigger reason is that the Epic of Gilgamesh is likely incomplete. Years back, a new tablet was found (technically bought and then discovered to be part of the epic) that had about 20 more lines than what we had at the time, that added much needed details to everything about... Humbaba? Look, you want comprehensive Fate analysis, go read tumblr user tainbocuailnge. Anyway, while new information won’t change the general myth and heroic journey, wouldn’t such new information being known change the personality of Gil?
Initially, this ‘piece’ was due to a shower thought - if new information about the Epic of Gilgamesh was found, new lines, more details, wouldn’t that change Gilgamesh’s character? I conceptualized an internal fear for Gilgamesh, of if he could fundamentally change due to a shift in humanity’s collective conscious. But through writing this, I realized that the fundamental’s of his story won’t change, so Gilgamesh as a servant won’t change.
Instead, I came to a conclusion somewhat more unsettling. The servant we call Gilgamesh… isn’t Gilgamesh. Or rather, the Gilgamesh part of Gilgamesh doesn’t really matter (here’s were I realize that this ‘piece’ was also inspired by Xenodile chronicling the relationship Ushi and ‘Benkei’, how the former hates the idea that her comrade Benkei was replaceable) all that matters is the King of Heroes. Anyone* could have been stuck with the label, King of Heroes, but since Gilgamesh was the first, the King of Heroes is tied to Gilgamesh’s name.
Humanity’s perception of Gilgamesh has focused nearly entirely on the King of Heroes, and while this is the quintessential Gilgamesh in terms of Fate content, FGO: Babylonia has the group meeting the non-servant Gilgamesh... as a caster. While a lot of the personality we know from the King of Heroes is still there, it’s a lot more nuanced. I really don't know how to conclude things, or even draw conclusions, so I’ll just say this. Gilgamesh (Caster) is either/or the Gilgamesh that existed or humanity’s concept of Gilgamesh that existed thousands of years ago - when Gilgamesh was just** a character. Gilgamesh (Archer) is humanity’s current concept of Gilgamesh, after literary theory crafting has boiled him down to the essence of heroism.
I will not call him a “Faker,” no matter how much I want to use wordplay I do not understand, for this is the pure essence of heroism*** - as well as a mere shadow of Gilgamesh.
*Anyone that goes through the heroic journey, and isn't a satire/deconstruction. Sorry Don Quixote. Also, Emiya, I guess.
**This is severely discounting how differently we view mythical heroes from people of the past.
***Sorry Emiya, I guess.

Eclipse Moonlight Costume
Tumblr media
So @endlessnightdwellers has an AU where everyone turns to demons and there’s this endless night thing and one day I was just zoning out and thinking about how to improve their character designs when I thought “hey and eclipse theme would be good!” It was then that I realized Moonlight didn’t have a costume for that so today I took it upon myself to make one.
As you can tell they are mostly gray and dark. They don’t like light very much so most of their clothing is monochrome. Her stars gradiate between black, red, orange, and yellow while she runs and the stars she makes with her ability does too. The costume itself gives about a 100 point boost to all jellies collected while riding on her moon (in her ability during Bonustime and when recovering from pits) and is available at the Champion’s League Metal Exchange Center for 4000 metals on the week of a solar eclipse, and has a small discount of 500 metals on the day of the eclipse (so 3500). Outside of packages that’s your only option.
Her moon replicates the look of a solar eclipse, with the moon completely blacked out and the sun’s light peeking behind. The small shimmer by her face is the star that Moonlight always has in her moon ridding animation’s during Bonustime or being saved from a pit.
The following is me making different things for this costume like they are a separate character and not a costume so this is where I stop talking about their practicality and where I go into backstory and stuff
Loading text:
-Night will be just that little bit longer...
-The stars will shine brighter
-Peaceful night...
Eclipse loves the night more then anything but doesn’t wish for total darkness, rather they just want to show the stars off
-The sun is too bright
-The sun should never raise...
Eclipse’s least favorite thing is brightness. They’re eyes are actually a tad sensitive to bright lights and as such unless they are blocking the sun Eclipse will not show up during the day or anywhere with lots of lights (like Dragon’s Valley)
-Don’t look.
Referring to the fact that you shouldn’t look at a eclipse without eye protection cause you could go blind from the sun’s radiation. Her staff can have the same effect on your eyes so she’s telling you not to look at that either
-What’s with the arrows!?
-Your pots are annoying...
The Chinese actually shoot fire arrows at the moon on an eclipse cause they used to believe that the moon was going to block out the sun forever, and some people pull out pots and pans and bang them together to make noise and scare the moon away. These are still traditions to this day
-I’m not camera shy
-My precense is a spectacle
Referring to how now a days we find a solar eclipse really cool and like to watch it or take pictures. Eclipse likes all the attention
Affection:
“Hi”
-Welcome to the show
-Are you here for me?
More evidence Eclipse likes the attention of those who want to see her eclipse
Like
-Do you enjoy the beauty of night?
-I’m glad you enjoy my show~
Just some banter I’ve already explained the context behind
Talk
-Make sure you check those glasses…
Some people sell counterfeit glasses to make a quick buck that don’t actually protect you. Eclipse just wants you to be OK
-Let’s go stargazing~
One of her favorite activities
-Too much noise...
-Is there a cooler place around here?
She isn’t a fan of noise or warm places which is the main reason the fire arrows and pot banging is what repels her
Gift
-Eternal night~ (Black Sugar Crystal)
Likes: Black Sugar Crystal
Dislikes: Golden Ink
Eclipse isn’t a fan of the golden ink (or any of the golden items for that matter) cause they sparkle too bright for her. Why her favorite is the black sugar crystal and not the solid black one is cause she doesn’t want things to be all dark, just for things to not be as bright. Also it goes without saying, but Eclipse wants to create a eternal night by completely blocking the sun forever
Present:
-“You’re a sky full of stars~” (60 Gems)
This is a refrence to a song “Sky Full of Stars” by Coldplay, and she gives you the normal 60 gems all the legendaries give you
Relationships
-Fire Spirit: HIISS! He’s far too bright! (Rival)
Eclipse and FS have a long standing rivalry cause he’s the exact opposite of what she likes. Warm, bright, loud, and obnoxious, the two of them hated each other since their first meeting. He’s the one who mostly keeps her at bay whenever she decides it’s time to try and block the sun again
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
-Moon Rabbit: You can have all my rice cakes! (Friendly)
Eclipse just likes Moon Rabbit honestly, nothing much to say here
-Creampuff: You wish to learn new spells…? (Trust)
Eclipse likes the two spell caster and likes to interact with them a lot, teaching them spells that involve blocking light
-Snow Sugar: One of the coolest cookies~ (Trust)
(Slow clap) Great pun there. 10/10.
Story:
“Back when Moonlight was first baked she didn’t like the sun. It was too bright in her eyes. So she would regularly cover the sun with her moon, which caused uncomfortably cold temperatures. To scare her off, creatures would bang against things and shoot fire arrows at her. It worked to keep her from stopping the sun from shining, and so it became routine. Now a days Moonlight knows not to do that, but every year or so she can let her announce get the better of her. Today, this cover of the sun is a spectacle that cookies love to watch, and Fire Spirit keeps Eclipse from staying up for long, however some creatures keep the traditions alive in fear of what could happen if Moonlight ever got too complacent…”
This is effectively just a backstory for Eclipse’s existence. In the cookie world anytime a solar eclipse occurs that’s Moonlight turning into Eclipse because they are just having a terrible day and let their feelings get the better of them.
And that’s all I have for them for now. If you want to ask them anything you can send a ask to them. It would be fun to develop this “character” more. Think of it like a mini ask blog. The drawings will probably just be quick sketches though. Anyway hope you all enjoyed this!

The Lethal Tag
Tagged by @corishadowfang! Thanks, I enjoy doing these.
Rules: Answer these five questions for whatever characters you want, then tag some people.
I suppose I’ll be doing Blackheart, since nothing else I have on my mind is really tangible at the moment...
(Long post, so answers below!)
1) What is your OCs’ favorite weapon type (and if they don’t have one, then just answer hypothetically, and that goes for the rest of the Qs)
Alexander: Despite spending the entire story using a sword, it’s actually not his go-to! A sword and shield may be his primary pick on the ground, but he’s usually atop his horse (he doesn’t bring her to the infested city due to terrain, cavalry charges aren’t exactly effective in an urban enviornment). As a heavy cavalry knight, Alexander’s usually using a lance. The might of a lance charge atop his steed, Dragon, can fell even the toughest warriors in a single hit. Cavalry supremacy is the way the Geralthin army fights, and it’s led them to victory against foes on all sides.
Senci: He uses a longsword, though being a kobold, his size means he has to use it like a greatsword. He’s really good with it though, and becomes quite experienced in the art of combat during his journey!
Leianna: A spiked mace is her trademark. Though she’s a cleric, she uses it out of personal preference. Cracking skulls is just her style. She also uses a shield with it as well. She’s a pretty balanced warrior, though at times reckless.
Lexius: A short sword and small, wooden shield. Very plain and simple.
Razorwing: The great hero, a famous archer! He uses a longbow, it’s his staple! He also has a dagger as an emergency fallback, though as one of the avian koutu, his maneuverability means he shouldn’t really ever need to use it.
Paul: He’s a bounty hunter kitted out for any engagement. His primary weapons are his miniature crossbows. He also has a broadsword and daggers in case he needs to fight up close. He’s known to use tricky support weapons like smoke bombs and nets as well.
Wurie: The wolfman, and Captain of the Guard Wurie uses an arming sword, and nothing else! He’s spent plenty of time mastering its use, though. The same, old but maintained blade has brought him through many years of service, from his start as a caravan mercenary, through the height of his career as the founder and leader of a mercenary company, and finally to his years as a guard for the city of Palethorn.
Andric: A claymore! He’s strong enough to use it with one hand, though he tends to use both anyway. Having a free offhand is helpful with casting his holy magic though, being a paladin and all.
Tourthun: He’s a red, firebreathing dragon! Soooo...claws and fire.
Charles: Half-human, half-dragon, all magician! He doesn’t use any weapons at all! Not physical anyway, as he has an array of spells to choose from. If for some reason he couldn’t use any magic, he’d probably just use his claws.
2) Do they own such a weapon? How does it look like? (Add drawings or pictures pls!)
Alexander:

Senci:

Leianna:
Tumblr media
Lexius:
Tumblr media
Razorwing:
Tumblr media
Paul:
Tumblr media
Wurie:
Tumblr media
Andric:

Tourthun:

I guess? That’s the closest I can think of a picture to his “weapons”. (He’s actually really nice though so don’t worry, he’s not actually plundering gold or frying people)
Charles:
Tumblr media
3) How did it come into their possession?
Alexander: He commissioned a renowned blacksmith and armorer to forge his equipment.
Senci: A gift from his tutor and foster father, Andric!
Leianna: Granted to her by the Order of God, the religious order she serves.
Lexius: The monk scraped together the tiny bit of personal wealth he had and got his sword, shield and chainmail quickly made by a nameless blacksmith, hence their dubious quality.
Razorwing: After becoming a very skilled bowman, he put in a lot of time learning to how both make and maintain bows and arrows. His current longbow is one he made himself!
Paul: He was careful to have his armaments made by well-established blacksmiths with reputations for high-quality, reliable merchandise. Can’t have a breakage or malfunction in the middle of an important mission, after all.
Wurie: Part of a dual deal, actually. When deciding to become a mercenary, he mentioned his lack of armaments to the caravan company he wanted to sign up with. The head merchant actually pointed him to a company blacksmith, offering a moderate discount. This was to hopefully foster some loyalty so that Wurie would stay on with them for future trips. The wolfman did indeed stick around with them for a long time.
Andric: Meticulously crafted by a master blacksmith, and then enchanted by himself. The top quality steel is deadly and reliable, and the paladin’s own blessing makes the claymore tear through the scales and flesh of demons and evil monsters with ease.
Tourthun: All dragons are born with their claws and breath powers.
Charles: Everyone’s born with magic already innately inside of them. It’s simply a matter of training to draw it out and learn to use and control it...
4) Who taught them to use it?
Alexander: That would be Sir Gabriel Winthorperry! A knight that arrived to the house of Angelus to serve Alexander’s father, he took on the role of tutor when Alexander expressed interest in becoming a knight. He trained the child for many years in the use of knightly weapons, combat and conduct, until Alexander was finally able to set off as an knight on his own. He’s become a great tactician from his time commanding armies as well.
Senci: Sir Andric, the paladin and one who raised Senci! He drilled Senci vigorously. At first he didn’t want to, but Senci begged and pleaded, wanting to become a hero like him. He made sure the kobold would be strong and skilled enough to survive out in the harsh world that Senci still sees as a dreamland.
Leianna: She began training to become a cleric as she reached maturity. As a child, she had to run away from home for reasons. A priest found her out in the forest crying, and took her back to the monastery. There she grew up learning about the holy scriptures, church tradition, and God. After they accepted her request, she started training, and became proficient at channeling holy magic and using blunt instruments.
Lexius: No one! He has absolutely no combat experience or training! He’s totally out of his league...though he IS very skilled at healing magic, and has quite a bit of potential that will become apparent later down the line...
Razorwing: An archery tutor who turned out to be a pretty nasty man, actually. He started a toxic, abusive relationship with Razorwing while he was young and naive. A traveling human helped him break free from that, and Razorwing began training himself after that. He quickly rose to become a master archer in due time. and is pretty famous as an adventuring hero now.
Paul: Self-taught. He started small, but his natural combat awareness, sharp senses and streetwise nature helped him stay alive long enough to become VERY good at what he does.
Wurie: Trained by a barbarian tribe as a warrior at first. He ran away and fled to Geralthin, where he became a mercenary. He got a lot of training and firsthand experience with kobold raids on the caravans he protected. After becoming the head of his own company he set off on many missions against all kinds of monsters. By the time he became a city guard he was a seasoned veteran of war. In that time he became skilled in the art of mediation and diffusing volatile situations as well, since the job required it.
Andric: Trained by the church, and forged in the crucible of war. He’s spend decades fighting cults, monsters, and even slaying dragons. He’s one of the most battle-hardened and highly-skilled paladins in the world at the moment, and his mere presence can turn the tide of war.
Tourthun: He doesn’t fight, nor was he trained. He’s borderline pacifist, though certain events will force a change soon enough. As a great, mighty dragon though anyone but a great wizard or hero would be hard-pressed to defeat him if they wanted to...not that most would. He’s developed a fiercely protective attitude towards humanity, and wishes to defend them from other, more evil dragons.
Charles: He went to college for the magical arts. He’s still young, but his natural ability, great mind, and fast learning along the powerful desire to become better means it won’t be long before he’s a master sorcerer.
5) Does your OCs’ have a special boss-killer move? What is it?
I like to imagine this question as making a “Finisher” or “Ultimate” move from a videogame, so I’ll try my best to use that as inspiration.
Alexander: He’s just a knight. A good one, but still a knight, having no magic or superhuman abilities. I’d imagine his ultimate move would be him using a rallying horn, and an army of knights appearing and running down his foe in a crushing cavalry charge full of lances.
Senci: Some sort of reckless and wild flurry of swings, ending with a front-flip cleave.
Leianna: Beating the stuffing out of her enemy, knocking them over, and slamming her mace into their skull.
Lexius: The spell Destroy Evil! I’ve written some lore on magic before, so here’s an excerpt about the spell:
“Caster creates an aura around them of pure good, destroying anything evil, both physical and in concept. This will spell destroys not only beings born of evil, like demons, and tears the corruption from tainted objects, but also seeks out and destroys evil within normal beings. Selfishness, hatred, greed and jealously are burned away from people in the aura. This process is extremely painful, amplified by how “bad” of a person the target is. Even good people will feel great pain, but the truly wicked will be wracked with such horrific suffering that they will likely die of shock before the process is complete. Once these thoughts of darkness and wickedness are burned away, those affected will feel different, calm and at peace with themselves. They might no longer feel temptation to do bad, or may begin to see the faults with their old ways. Stripping away free will is a huge taboo in human society, so this spell is generally only cast on either the willing, on defiled objects, or in groups where demons are suspected to be hiding in human disguises, the holy person gauging the reactions of those affected. Demons will screech in horror before burning away completely. Sometimes used by holy men and women to purify themselves of temptation and sin. An extremely difficult spell to cast.”
Razorwing: A flurry of arrows fired while he’s flying in the air, followed up by a cinematic headshot.
Paul: A smoke bomb and him dancing around the enemy unseen, landing hit after hit, ended with a shot to the back while the enemy’s trying to find him.
Wurie: Rallying the Silver Shields, his mercenary company, to come in and overwhelm the enemy!
Andric: Calling down a pillar of pure divine energy, smiting his opponent and enveloping them in holy flames.
Tourthun: His *SPOILERS* appears and the pair drown the enemy in a sea of flames.
Charles: Probably the spell Ritual of Pain. Here’s a description from the lore excerpts again:
“The caster, before casting this spell, must draw blood. The more blood, the more powerful the spell. Generally, the sorcerer will stab their hand or arm with a knife, dig into the wound to let blood pour freely, and then hold up their hand and cast the spell. A torrent of acidic blood will pour from the caster towards the intended target, drowning the victim in boiling acid. This extraordinarily powerful spell costs the caster dearly, who will be terribly wounded afterwards. Anyone casting this spell is either desperate enough to risk death, or has a healer handy. Use of this spell is frowned upon in many places, though in antiquity it was one of the powerful death spells used to defeat the dragons.”
