Just learned the company Santa lunch, which I look forward to every year, will fall on Asara B’tevet so I can’t participate :/
#The food itself is really bad tbh so I usually just eat mashed potatoes and salad#But they have a table full of gingerbread and banana cookies that I got crazy for#(Plus you get a free pop)#They only have those cookies at this event too so it’s not like you can just get some next week#Last year I sneaked a few home in my pocket and was so excited to eat them for Shabbat once the sun set#But I found my dog had stolen them from my pocket#(It was really upsetting on top of what was already an awful day)#So I’m bummed I can’t make up for it this year :/#(BTW this event is the company giving out free lunch and cookies to everyone and Santa is there for the kids)
