Enji's team focuses both on battle capabilities but also could be helpful for hero work. He would try to make sure their move sets would work well to cover the weaknesses of their team mates.
Emboar: This would be Enji's starter and his ace or at least the one that's connected to him the most for obvious reasons. He would matches Enji's sheer will power and determination even when a battle seems dire. Emboar, despite his relentless fighting spirit, does have a soft side and will fight tusk and nail for someone he or Enji care about. But it's also this need to protect that could put him at odds with Enji during his toxic abusive stage of his life, like what does one do when the person hurting loved ones is your own trainer. This could lead to a Emboar and Enjji not being as in sync as they were when he was young and maybe even Emboar disobeying Enji leading to him being benched in favor of another Poke'mon until Enji starts changing in which they would start to mend their relationship as trainer and Poke'mon. Battle Info Ability: Reckless Moveset: Heat Crash/ Flare Blitz/Fire Punch/Bulk UP/Coaching
Machamp: This would be the Poke'mon that takes over when Emboar is benched. Machamp would thrive in the hero work scene with its physical capabilities and the fact that his specious often helps humans. With his four arms he would do well with rescue missions able to carrying victims of disasters and villain attacks, move debris and hold up heavy loads without tiring on top of being a capable fighter. Given Machamps constant need to train he is a perfect match Enji's training regiment and his competitiveness. Machamp, along with the remaining members of Enji's team, would not be too involved with Enji's family or home life, there for wouldn't be too aware of Enji's negative traits until after Enji becomes #1. Machamp would have a rivalry with Emboar (thematically it'd be like two parts of Enji's personality being at odds with eachother) but also work well off each other. Battle Info Ability: Guts Moveset: Knock Off/Fire Punch/Cross Chop/Ice Punch/Facade
Alakazam: His lack of physical fighting capabilities is made up for greatly by his vast intellect and psychic capabilities. This Poke'mon would give support to his team mates and providing help during rescue missions from using his psychic powers to move debris to tracking locations of victims. Alakazam being able to take in and process information which is an asset to help Enji with solving crimes, Alakazam could keep information in order and able to communicate this information psychically. Given his ability to read minds and process information, Alakazam would see a lot his trainers inner conflict and self loathing so he would not too critical of Enji's negative traits as he understands Enji's is actively trying to change and be better. In Alakazam's mind it isn't his place to judge but provide his knowledge to be an aid for the flame hero. Imagine Enji would play chess with Alakazam. Battle Info Ability: Magic Guard Moveset: Trick Room/Reflect/Light Screen/Psychic/Ally Switch/Teleport
Luxray: Probably a more recent member of Enji's team, Luxray would be part of the search and rescue squad of Endeavors agency focusing on locating victims with his ability to see through objects and directing teams to them. He also uses its ability Intimidate to make villains and their Poke'mon more susceptible to his team mates attacks and further debuffing them with attack such as Eerie Impulse, Thunderwave and Electro Web. Outside of working Luxray can usually be found wandering the agency, patrolling or napping in Endeavors office (reserving his energy for when he is needed in rescues as its ability to see through objects takes up a lot of energy). Battle Info Ability:Intimidate Moveset: Fire Fang/Thunderwave/Electrowave/Volt Switch/Eerire Impulse/Electro Ball
Stoutland: Another member of the search and rescue squad of Endeavors agency working with Luxray focusing on the rescue and retrieval parts. His ability Scrappy lets him attack ghost poke'mon and villains with quirks that are similar. Popular among children and will often stick by child victims after a rescue to comfort them and can be seen patrolling helping guide lost children to their parents or safety in general. Battle Info Ability: Scrappy Moveset: Dig/Surf/Fire Fang/Crunch/Work Up/Iron Head
