Do you have OC/S? Lore on the OC/S? How many? What're they like? Do you have a favourite? Are they based on a franchise or are original?

Oh anon, I have so many ocs. It’s roughly 80 or 90 by this point, including all the ocs from different stories and universes.

The universe that has the most ocs is Devil Shenanigans (which has it’s own blog btw @devilshenanigans-fm) which has a whopping 67 specific characters. There’s also Phonehead, which is a true crime noir story, that has about 9 characters functioning in it. I have a few Haunted Mansion ocs (there’s a blog for that too @askthebrokenones-fm), I think about 7 that are specifically named. Then that houseplant in DOOM named Gregory akfjdkajf. There’s a lot more, but those are the ones I can remember off the top of my head and/or are still being used.

A few of them were formerly franchise based or still are, like the 7 HM ocs or a few of the DS ocs. Phonehead used to actually be a FNAF au before it was made into a true crime noir story; the main character was the Phone guy while it was an au, thus the title. A majority are original though, with just a little bit of basing in franchises.

There’s a lot of them that are just mythical or some other thing. Very few of them are actual normal people akfkdja. The lore of DS (and in turn the HM au since it’s tied to that universe) is super complicated and convoluted, so I’ll just explain Phonehead, since it’s the most cut and dry. Basically, French Noir film meets ghost movie. There’s a serial killer running around and the detective is trying to find out who it is with the help of the ghosts of the victims.

My favorite oc,,,, There’s so many, it’s difficult to choose,,, I think my favorite favorite, out of all the stories, is Scott Sharnovon, the detective and main character of Phonehead. Mostly because he’s super close to my heart, what with being the main inspo of my current art style and also my oldest, still used oc. By now, he’s probably about 6 years old, counting his days as AU Phone Guy. I,,, think about this boi a lot, since he’s the most tied to me in terms of personality.

Other favorites are Mortimer (who is tagged as dad devil and in DS), Kane (also DS), Sinclair and Egore (the muses of the HM blog) and Dracul (part of a writing project with some other people; you can see him mostly on Insta).
