Jayden's room would feel another but far more gentle low rumble some time later after the pearl is disturbed from its resting place. Perhaps a warning. Perhaps an acknowledgment even after so long hidden away. The pressure normally associated with the entity known as 'Shroud' and its presence could not be felt. The pearl, having dulled in its time tucked away, would brighten slightly with the interaction. ○

...no answer...

It's as expected. Specific conditions were required to be met if this happened to be the presence of an all-too familiar, disembodied entity. Communication between Jayden and the one known as 'Shroud' lacked greatly the past year, but it's not all surprising. They slumbered...somewhere...due to their lack of energy and vitality, making themselves known here and there by means of the iridescent jewel.

But...nothing happened. No ethereal voice, and yet Jayden remained standing in a defensive posture. If it wasn't Shroud's phantom manifestation lingering inside the quiet space...who else could it be? Eyes darted across her bedroom, cycling in patterns from her bed, the messy desk, the open bedroom door, and lastly the open closet. Nothing moved, so far. After a few rounds, she took one step backwards aiming to reach out and close the closet door.

Was it trying to locate the pearl? Did it want the pearl itself?

Questions circled inside Jayden's overactive brain, all while she attempted to think of her next move. However, in the slight moment where the reporter broke from her stance....

....a reaction...caught her attention.

A small burst of light, lasting only for half a second signified a sense of recognition. It wasn't Shroud presently tightening the atmosphere, however...Shroud perceived her touch. Jayden confirmed it just then, as another sign clearly made itself known to the reporter. The other, foreign apparition still kept Jayden in a tense position, but not so much now knowing Shroud may be observing the situation.

Two more backward steps put Jayden in front of the open door, and slowly she returned into a crouched stance with a hand reaching out to brush her fingertips on the pearl.

"....I'm here....but something different is also here with me..."

My Opinion on;

Character in general: Oh N. *grabs N and SHAKES HIM* MY poor sweet boi N. Natural Harmonia honestly has been one of the characters that I will actually forever hold DEAR in my heart. When I played White I was always like, “I don’t want to fight you, please stop....” N was honestly that antagonist/rival that I always had such a hard time wanting to fight because when he spoke I kinda was like??? I agree with you??? And yet at the same time, he misunderstood SO MUCH. I just kinda wanted to pick him up and shake him and just say, no N stop please, you need to stop.I love my christmas tree coloured man so much. Even way back when Blair had a good HC about N I was like OMG I FEEL YOU?? I was so angry that N jsut kinda up and left. Like he had so much possible character development.. and I read the stories and rumours about how N was possibly a Zoroark too cause dear lord all the talk about that wouldn’t make me stop thinking about it and I questioned everything. N’s past is really shrouded with mystery and when I RPed my Zororak-Gijinka OC I kinda just went “????” about the N=Zoroark thing? And I mean I have seen plenty of N’s too. All of their interpretations have been different, but I feel in love with every single one because the writer just put so much TIME into N and I was like? Oh my god, I love you. I love your muse and I just love everything.  Yes, anyway. N in general is the rival/antagonist that I’’ll have the most love for though anyway because Unova for me is my life blood. Its how I started RPing in the first place too. oh one more thing, I always considered N an king and MY red a kind, like in the chess peices, and I ALWAYS wanted to do a thing with N and Red because yes. The problem is it never fully ever went off and I was sad.

How they play them: Honestly Logan, its been QUITE some time since I last saw you tbh. but honestly, I alwasy did like your N? I mean?? again it’s been QUITE SOME TIME. so my apologies, on that. I don’t think we’ve ever got to formally RP though. Which it unfortunate?? but unless we interacted on my Red and I’m totally spacing out, then I am so sorry... T-T But yea, no. I still adore your N anyway cause it is N. and like??? please. I hope you know you’re more than welcome to come and talk to me ANYTIME about all the plots, yes. And yea no you’re not just limited to Mimi either, you want to interact with Red, leggooo jsut hit me up anytime :3
