im thinking like.....medieval au where anakin is a young king and obi-wan is someone in his court he's had an affair with for a few years - maybe he was tasked with teaching him basic defense as a knight or with teaching him horseback riding or with making his weapons as a blacksmith

but then anakin declares his intent to marry and obi-wan was always expecting this. like he knew this would happen. it still stings, stupidly enough. and it stings so much that he decides he can't actually be there for the wedding of his king to someone else, so he packs up and heads off to another kingdom.

only for anakin to visit that kingdom within the year, all puffy and sullen that he must track obi-wan down and bring him back. like where has obi-wan been?? his king has been in need of him???

obi-wan is too weak to deny him an audience, especially because it's hardly an audience at all. his king comes bursting through the doors of his humble studios and demands to know if he somehow does not understand the regard that he holds for him??

anakin basically drags obi-wan back to his kingdom by his ear and obi-wan is sad and dutiful about it until he learns that anakin and his queen have a friendly relationship at best and will pursue an heir and then breaking off all sexual/marital engagements.

anakin is like of course that's the deal like i would ever cheat on you??? and obi-wan is flabbergasted and quite touched, honestly.

and anakin is like i'll show YOU touched etc etc

🗂: Do you make moodboards for your fics or blorbos?

I did once. I wasn't really a fan of it though cause I'd never done it. I make cover designs on Microsoft Word. If you look atwhat I posted on my Anselm Vogelweide x OC story, Wolf in Sheep's Clothing, you'll find what I'm talking about. Here's the masterlist. But I do that for my own original fiction and my fanfictions (including the old ones that never got posted anywhere and probably never will cause they're trash).

🎃: Do you write for holiday (Halloween, Christmas, etc) events? If so, what's your favorite work from one of those events?

I never have actually. In fanfiction or original fiction. The closest I've ever come has been a few horror stories or scenes I've written. But nothing for Halloween or anything. I wrote a birthday celebration into a story once. But it wasn't even that. It was "today's your birthday, here are a few gifts" and that was it. I do read holiday fics that other people write. Halloween fics are generally my favorite, but I do love the coziness of Christmas (and similar) stories.

🎵: Do you create playlists for your fics?

All the time. Ish. They're mostly in my head, but I made a bunch on YouTube that I add to all the time, and I made a couple with music I downloaded to my phone. I would have done it on Spotify too, but I wasn't interested in making playlists when I used Spotify, and I stopped using it to protest Joe Rogan's podcast back in 2020. I've only gone back to Spotify once since then and it was to promote a podcast here that someone I know created. So, for the most part, when I make a playlist, it's an actual list of songs I listened to while I wrote the story. Again, there's an example of that on the Wolf in Sheep's Clothing masterlist. (I'm not trying to self promote, I swear. I just went all out for this story because it was the first one I posted here.)

OKAY SO. admittedly yume nikki is the one rpgmaker horror game i couldn't really get into, lol. i think it was the complete lack of dialogue that made it hard for me at the time, because i tend to get more invested in games with a concrete story. i never ended up finishing it.

my favorite classic rpgmaker horror game is actually ib!! it was the first one i played and still has my favorite story & characters. it's also among my collection of reoccurring hyperfixations, haha.

35. What are a few of your favorite Kaz moments?

all of his moments except when he and inej are on the outs

You already know that scene with Kaz taking out Oomen's eye is one of them. That scene has lived in my head ever since I read it. Partly because I was also fuming about what Oomen did to Inej so to see Kaz do something about it was just nice. And, honestly, I'm of the belief that if someone spits in your face, all bets are off.

Kaz versus the Dregs is also another scene that I absolutely love. It is so well built up to and so well done that it's honestly one of my top favorite scenes in general. It was just such a well earned moment.

Honestly Kaz's opening scene with Geels is another top favorite. What an excellent opening scene for a character, especially followed by his chapter POV that really solidifies what he is.

I also like the ending scene of SOC in Pekka's office when he goes to strike a deal with Pekka showing just how far he is willing to go, how much he is willing to risk, to get even with Van Eck as well as get Inej back. It is an excellent reminder of what Pekka has coming and I think Kaz stealing right from under his nose because Pekka still doesn't quite get what he has coming to him yet is so good.

I could go on but I'll stick with just listing a few like I'm supposed to. sjsjs

46. Your thoughts on Kuwei? Do you feel any particular way about him? Is he an underrated character?

I don't have particularly strong feelings on Kuwei. I absolutely feel for him because he and his dad were thrust into a situation that they had no idea would turn out this way and his father died along the way when all he had been doing was trying to help his son. Also, having to be stuck in Fjerda and forced to replica the very thing that resulted in your father's death and then having to trust a ragtag time of thieves that only intend to help you escape just to throw into another bad scenario doesn't help either. Then to be auctioned off even just as a scheme and have to fake your own death--- it's a lot and he is just a kid like the rest of them. I feel like you can't help but feel for him in those conditions.

Personality wise, he is certainly something. I enjoyed that he was a bit of a menace---not necessarily the bit where he knowingly tricks Jesper--- but the fact that he pretended not to know how to speak Kerch well just because he didn't want to talk to any of them is actually hilarious. He also just had his own flare for the dramatics (being able to quickly blow up the lab was a nice touch) and it made him fit into the story in his own little way. There's no denying he is very clever in his own right.

Overall, I would not say I think about him very often but I appreciate his part in the overarching storyline for sure. He is interesting in his own right. I would be lying if I said a Kuwei POV somewhere along the line in the story wouldn't have been interesting.

What does Hinata smell like?

Hinata really enjoys collecting perfumes. Floral or spicy scents are the ones she checks out first if she is shopping for a fragrance. A cute bottle is a plus, but not necessary- She has several vintage bottles she's rescued and cleaned up to refill with fragrances.

Let me just. Give you the notes in her go-to perfume: Fresh lemon and lavender at the opening with an amber-vanilla and lavender heart and drydown.

Charles just sent a video of George talking to Lewis as a reply.

Now it is Pierre.

He has just sent a message when a text from Lando comes through. He opens their chat. It’s the same video from the same account both George and Pierre sent. He narrows his eyes at his phone. Were the three in this together? He taps the voice message.

“Mate, you-you look amazing. You look amazing. Oh, Albono, I love you. Oh, Albono, marry me.” Lando’s squeaky voice blasts through his speakers.

He replies with a lot of middle finger emojis.

The three of them have to be in on this together. Charles grumbles. So what if he stuttered through his words to check for Alex if he was streaming or told Alex he looks amazing. There is nothing wrong with that. They are friends. Just because he has been in love with Alex for years does not mean they cannot be friends. It is not that bad! It’s not. He goes back to his workout, only to get interrupted five minutes later.

The french swear words on the tip of his tongue are as familiar as they can be.

i wrote stewjoni obi-wan in stay til the dawn, i'll give you the sun where he is a king and anakin is a jedi (who has amnesia as a fun little bonus!!)

i have another fic where obi-wan is a stewjoni king and anakin is a jedi he is arranged to marry: let's get your fingers tangled in my hair (with bonus veil/mistaken identity!!)

in polyglot, obi-wan is a stewjoni senator & anakin is a jedi, but maybe this doesn't count as much because it doesn't take place on stewjon

on the anakin being from tatooine front, i have sun, sun, sun here it comes, where anakin is senator from tatooine, though this also may not count as much cause it takes place on coruscant

in hold me fast or kill me quick, anakin and obi-wan are soulmates and jedi obi-wan meets anakin on tatooine! the fic takes place half in flashbacks on tatooine and half in the temple where anakin has moved (after marrying qui-gon) (it's complicated)

✧ énouement: the bittersweetness of having arrived here in the future, finally learning the answers to how things turned out but being unable to tell your past self.

obscure sorrows

The quill in his hand pauses. Ink seeps from the nib onto the paper, forming a small blot. He lifts his hand and drops the quill into its holder with a sigh.

His letter home sits half-finished. He cradles his cheek in one hand, elbow on the desk, and opts to instead stare out the small rectangular window. A few fluffy clouds lazily roll past.

It hits him, in these quiet moments, that he survived. All the terror and worry and desperation of his youth has floated away like the clouds outside.

(That's not entirely true. He'll wake up in the dead of night, hands clutching a phantom sword, a battle cry on his lips. Or he's watching one of his friends fall lifeless into the dirt, tears drying on his cheeks.)

Eyes fall back to the letter. A shame he can't write them to his past self, offer advice, encouragement, solid proof that his wide-eyed optimism does indeed pay off.

Somewhere, in the flow of time, there's a brown-eyed boy staring up at the stars and praying everyone will live to see another day. Somewhere, that boy clings tightly to an imagined future of sunny days surrounded by loved ones.

Laslow wishes he could put a hand on that kid's shoulder, reassure him that it will come to pass. He'll write letters home and meet people only heard about in fairytales and fall in love and travel further than he'd ever dreamed.

But since he can't do any of that, he merely stretches his neck, picks up his quill, and regales his mother with tales of last month's (mis)adventures.

GLAD YOU ASKED. GRINS. My top tattoo idea right now is based off a few lyrics from Tortured by Decalius. Two rusty-looking 3d hook tats in the back/side of my ribs. I don't really relate to the song as much as before but I still want the tat because I feel like my long stretch of isolation really uh. shaped me as a person, I guess. I appreciate not being in that mindset all alone anymore more than I would've otherwise, yk.

I also want some type of lower back and/or stomach tat. I'm gonna probably hold off on the stomach 'til I get a hysto.

9: Got any piercings?

I used to...! I had my eyebrow done 4 times. First time it was poor positioning, second and third I overcleaned, fourth was stable until a hairdresser ripped it out.

15: Favorite movie

I've watched Friday the 13th part 2 so many times by this point @_@... Was my comfort movie as a kid.

inspired by her brother willas and the star charts he drew for her when she was little, i think marg will occasionally take up sketching when she has no other duties to attend to. she doesn't have much time to practice (especially since she came to king's landing), but she sometimes draws her surroundings, like the clouds and landscapes around her when she's riding a carriage through the countryside

✨ - Worldbuilding or background story elements.

i think i recall grrm saying one time he partially based the reach off a region in northern france? no idea if i'm remembering that correctly but because of it i imagine the tyrells and other reach folk with a french accent. all the love to the ppl who headcanon italian tyrells; i think that's a really neat hc too but french tyrells is where my brain is at

🍁 - Physical locations, flora & fauna.

gonna keep this reach themed i think! the arbor gives me like. a mixture of southern california islands (think catalina island or the channel islands) and napa valley wine country in terms of overall climate. lots of hills, chaparral, quite warm weather. also they have island foxes there and if you've never seen one before i implore you to look them up
