Mikan smiled gently, her body noticeable relaxing a bit at the reassurance, though not all the way. One step at a time as they say. Her eyes scanned the colors in front of her. Truthfully, she wasn’t the master of color schemes, but a few stood out to her. “Heh... um... do you think... these three would look good in my hair..?” She asked, while gently pulling the orange, pink, and purple towards them both. “You’re the expert h-here after all, hehe...”

A young musician came running through the hospital. Through the halls, she was calling for someone. "Mikiiii? Miiiiiikiiiiii? Mikaaaaan?" As she passed through each door in the hall, she caught a glimpse of her in the office of the hospital. "Mikan! There you are! Happy Valentines day!" Without warning she hugged the nurse tight, before pulling away and taking something from a little backpack she was carrying. "Ibuki wasn't sure what you would have wanted, but she went with some chocolates and flowers!" She was practically bouncing up and down like an energetic child as she handed the gifts to her. "I also have another gift for you if you want Miki! But we'll have to wait a bit before you can have that one!" She hugged her again, smiling happily at her friend. Ibuki was aware of Mikan's low self-confidence, and her ocassional self-loathing. She felt like this would be the best way to try and remind her how important she was. But it also seemed like she was going for something a little more in-spirit of this holiday

“Ibuki-!” Mikan startled at being hugged from behind, since her back was turned towards Ibuki at the time being. She sighed and eased into the affection once she felt secure. Hugs always felt nice. She giggled, turning around to see the and she froze again. “For... me...?” She asked hesitantly, she suddenly felt guilty for not expecting this. She didn’t even have a gift for Ibuki! But, despit the worry she smiled. “Awww.... you didn’t have to get me all this, Ibuki...! This is too kind of you...” She looked down bashfully, her face lighting up pink. “A-Another gift? Aw.. you’re gonna make me wait? I’ll wait forever if that’s what it takes, hehe!”
