The flashes of cameras was something that was sure to scare every little child on the paddock. Selina, however, was not like most 3 year olds.

Y/n was quick to notice the sudden lack of a sassy toddler beside her. She felt her heart stop for a moment until she heard a familiar giggle.

Little Selina was busy posing for the cameras. She had her hand on her hip and a pair of sunglasses resting on top of her button nose.

“Selina!” A familiar gasp was heard. Y/n turns around and sees her husband appear beside her with his hands on his hips. “What’d I say to you before leaving today?”

The sassy three year old lets out a huff, crossing her arms over her chest as she walks over to her father. “No leaving Mama for photos.” she mumbles as Esteban leans down to pick her up.

“That’s right, ma ours. [my bear] Now what do we say to Mama?” He asks with a cheeky smile, glancing at his wife.

Y/n had an entertained smile adorning her pink lips. She makes eye contact with Esteban’s mini. The young girl still had her lips pursed up as her father brushes away any loose dark strands from her pale face.

“Sorry, Mama.” The young girl finally gave in.

Before either parent could reply, Pierre suddenly appears in front of them. “Making Princess Selina apologize? Why? She must be allowed to do whatever!” The French driver dramatically exclaims, causing the young girl to let out a laugh.

She reaches her arms towards Pierre and he quickly takes her in his arm. Charles and Carlos noticed the French driver holding onto the mini Esteban and quickly made their way.

“Is that Princess Selina?” The Monegasque says with a wide smile, reaching up to gently pinch her rosy cheeks.

“Duh!” Selina replies with her signature giggle.

Esteban and Y/n share a knowing look. Soon enough, most of the grid was already by Selina’s side just like they predicted. They didn’t know how but she had managed to capture the hearts of the entire grid. But it seemed like a sassy personality and a cheeky smile was key.

Selina was a fiend for attention. Being on the paddock was her favorite thing. She knew she had every driver curled around her finger. Not only the drivers, but the workers for Alpine adored the mini Esteban and were glad to watch her.

Fortunately for Y/n, that meant she always had a baby sitter during race weekends at some point.. Whether it was a driver or engineer or even Esteban’s PR manager, Selina was always with them.

After a long day of playing with seemingly everyone on the paddock, poor Selina was dead tired by the end of the race. It was all a blur for the 3 year old— not like she could remember much anyways.

The weekend was amazing for Esteban. He even claimed 3rd place during the Monaco Grand Prix. Monaco was a place where he would always go party and get drunk despite whatever position he ended in. However, ever since he had his daughter with the love of his life, Esteban opted for a quiet dinner on a yacht.

The sun was still beaming in the distance as the family of 3 finished their dinner. Selina barely got through, managing to fight her sleep so she can mess with her papa. She lost her battle with sleep the moment her papa picked her up and held her in his arms

Esteban laid down beside his wife on the cushioned seat, a sleeping Selina on his arms. Y/n lets out a chuckle, grabbing the throw blanket on the seat and wrapping it around the 3.

“The boys and even the engineers played tag with her all day. I think Lando wasted the most energy on her. Poor girl barely made it to the end of the race!” Y/n exclaims with a chuckle, leaning over to gently run her fingers through Selina’s black waves, the same hair that matched her father’s.

“But we did, with a small 10 minute nap in between. We’re so proud of you, Esteban, so unbelievably proud.”

“If I didn’t have either of you, I wouldn’t be where I am now.” Esteban replies, wrapping his arm around her shoulder and bringing her close. “My beautiful girls, I love you both.” He whispers. He kisses the top of Selina’s forehead before leaning over and placing a kiss on Y/n’a plump lips.

“I couldn’t have wished for a better father for our Selina.”

A comfortable silence fell upon the family of 3. The sun began to set in the back. The view of Monaco was something Y/n adored ever since moving there. It was a sweet moment until something popped up in Esteban’s mind.

“Wanna try for a 2nd? Maybe the same position might get us a sassier one this time.” He says with a suggestive smile.

“A sassier one? I can barely keep up with Selina!” Y/n exclaims with a gasp, lightly slapping his shoulder. “We’re doing any position but the one we did to get her. She out-sasses the both of us.”

“Amour, she out-sasses the entire grid. Have you not seen her with Charles?”

“That poor guy…”

It’s actually kinda mesmerizing how Miriel and Elendil are connected in a LOT of ways

- Came from the same lineage

- Faithfuls who were raised by other fathfuls but eventually stopped with this and then they came back with it at the same time

- Both recognized each other as faithful

- She lost her vision at the same time Isildur got lost, then she lost her father at the same time Elendil thought he lost his son

- Both of them lost someone of their family for power.

- His wife drowned and she might go the same way

- Both are pretty as hell and should kiss

- I have a feeling that they’re both loyal to each other in a very “this might actually kill me” way

- He said “you opened my heart to the way of the faithful again” and I might say that he probably opened her heart to a lot of things too

- They’re both sassy af like Miriel on the first eps of season 1 was a whole mood “and I suppose Elendil here is a Rhunic Emperor” like giiiirlllll (and I know she wanted to laugh at his answer but couldn’t)

Elendil goes without saying bc just one look at his face when Kemen is around and wooowww, our cap really hates him (everyone does, let’s be fr)

- They’re so slow that their plot line in a modern universe would be “realizing that I’m having romantic dates with my best friend every day since we met…realizing I am in love with my best friend since the day we met”

- They seem a bit protective and possessive of each other, but that might be me reading into things…yeah, I know he’s her body guard, captain and whatever, but I’ve never seen someone run so fast towards an erupting volcano before 🐦‍🔥

- Both of them have extremely good taste (I love being bissexual)

- Touches. Like girl you don’t touch your cousin who’s an idiot anyway but you love holding hands and touching the chest of your cap 🕊️🕊️🕊️

Thoughts on Uprising ep14 “Tagged”

- note: we are now in Unknown Territory, for me! I have not watched any episodes past this point! all I know is what I’ve seen chatter about; that’s it!! SO LET’S GET STARTED.

- cold open: I see we have a team of feral dogs libertarian street artists making trouble in Argon! good thing they got away from the cops, at least?? (in re: feral dogs: Night Vale references? anyone? anyone?)

- “my fanclub strikes again” “you mean my fanclub” Tron are you being SASSY??? I agree with Beck, this is an improvement!!

- I get the sense from this conversation that Beck is still a little testy about his encounter with Cyrus, hence his insistence on bringing the street artists into the fold. Tron is advising caution, but I think Beck is feeling a little stretched thin by all this Renegade stuff and wants some, y’know, help. can’t say I blame the kid.

- then we cut to Paige dealing with a bomb threat on a train and it is lowkey kind of hilarious how she shoves the bomb squad aside and fucking opens the bomb herself—like girl!!!!! we have the bomb squad for a reason!!!!!!! STOP. thank god it’s just a paint bomb, cause she would’ve been derezzed instantly if it wasn’t.

- then Beck catches up with the artists three and basically does to them what Tron did to him; poses as a Black Guard and questions them and then reveals himself to be “Tron” aka the Renegade. also the subtitles totally gave away Mara’s role in the Jolly Tricksters, which… boo. but I love Beck’s obvious shock when he sees her; he was not counting on that! also Mara kind of flirting with “Tron” makes me (and Beck) uncomfortable…..

- meanwhile back at Tron’s, Beck tries to feel out why Tron chose him and also tries to suss out what, if anything, Tron will tell him about the Stranger/Cyrus. (again, not sure Cyrus actually introduced himself in the previous episode; I think I was too busy cussing to actually remember….) anyway, Beck wants Tron to tell him about Cyrus, but Tron is apparently pretending that chapter of his life DID NOT HAPPEN. (also Beck’s weird wrist circuits are still freaking me out………. hope they don’t prove significant in the future……)

- back in the main plot (though I’m surprised that this episode is ALL A-plot! no charming sideplot required, apparently!): Beck gets the Jolly Tricksters to do a distraction so he can sneak in and get some intel from Tesler’s ship. he’s in and out with no trouble, but then: trouble arrives!! in the form of Moog and Rasket who want to put a tag on Tesler’s whole ass ship. Mara is the only one of them with any sense, and she insists on going with the Renegade to get them back.

- so Moog and Rasket (Raskay~~ whatever your name is Rasket) do their big tag, and get fucking caught by Pavel. and taken to a torture chamber, essentially. Pavel’s doing that thing where he swings between silly and deadly serious and it’s a little terrifying. the torture device is horrifying and very much Do Not Want from me, like……… holy shit. and they don’t even shy away from showing it onscreen!!!! WHAT THE FUCK, SHOW. it’s like the creators realized Disney wasn’t gonna do shit to promote their show and just decided to do whatever!!!!!!!! jesus.

- Mara and Beck-as-Renegade save them tho!!! hooray!! and then Beck gives them all an assignment—keep the gate open—that Moog and Rasket immediately give up on and Mara, I can’t believe you thought you could control these two!! my god!!! but she manages to buy time for the Renegade as Beck is fighting Paige (there were some good shots in that fight btw) and they all just barely escape and ooOOF.

- less great that Moog and Rasket are out, and that Beck, as much as he needs Mara, can’t afford to put his friend in danger and essentially pushes her away. sigh.

- and then Beck and Tron have a conversation in PUBLIC ABOUT THIS???? AND TRON DON’T EVEN HAVE HIS FACE COVERED???????? the FUCK are you doing Tron???? GODDDDD.

- that said the coda of Mara doing another tag is glorious, and I hope we see more of her efforts towards revolution in the future. Beck is absolutely right: she really truly believes in the cause, and if (who she thinks is) Tron telling her he doesn’t need her doesn’t make her give up, then nothing will.

- all in all: fun little romp of an episode, and a very nice breather after the sheer fuck-inducing intensity of the previous episode.

Huu we're so close to the end....let's start with vol13! Chapter 1-3 review under the cut.

Again trigger warning for suicide mention, but it's late Trimax so who's really surprised.

(the japanese cover seems to be different than the english one, doesn't it?) Anyway very cool cover, I really like this one! And it's Vash with a black coat...! Him with black hair and black coat is giving me emotions!

Chapter 1:

I'm not sure I get this right, but as I understand it Vash deflected the shots by Chronica. If that is correct, well then thanks for nothing Chronica (grumbles) Vash's obvious struggle to keep everybody out of harm, plants and humans alike, is so heartbreaking to watch.

That panel is soooo good though. I'm kissing every drawing in these late volumes because they all are amazing. What I especially love about Nightow's drawing, besides the obvious great feeling for dynamic and posing is how he sometimes lets parts vanish in the shadows or dust, much like we don't get to see Legato's lower body here. Drawing everything out and putting too much detail into the pages would really kill the atmosphere, I think...and so it let's us focus on what's important!

He already got nearly everything taken from him!! How much further do you want to go? D: (until the end of course, rhetorical question)

At this point I'm assuming Knives has developped a pavlovian reaction of yawning around Legato.

But really, if there every really was some good-hearted feeling towards Legato, any kind of affection...I feel like it's gone at this point. The point when Knives turned all his attention towards Vash and started his quest of liberating the plants was the moment he lost all interest in Legato as a companion, which left only Legato, the tool.

Just so that I'm getting this right, Legato regrets that Vash is already this finished, that he won't get to have this big all-out fight to really prove to Knives what he can do for him, correct?

Aw look here, neither Wolfwood nor Livio are really part of the ghg in Vash's mind in this moment anymore.

It's the trinity of gun-to-face Trimax. (Hm, these look really cool in a row)

What a nice comparison this is to the time, Wolfwood hold the gun against his head and told Vash to shoot! Wolfwood did it because he thought Vash's ideals would get him nowhere, and he needed to be prepared to kill to survive and protect...but Legato, he just wants Vash to suffer by casting away his belief. Also he knows Vash won't do it...

The stuff with the space ships trying to land is very interesting too! I just don't have that much to say so no screenshots...also I still don't really get what the tricking part of Chronica's plan is? I can't remember so I'll have to wait and see.

No wonder Legato hates Vash so much if that is what he thinks. Would it be true, though? That's in interesting idea...in a world where there was no Vash, and the rest would still have happened the same way, could Legato have been more to Knives? Well, it's very hypothetical, but who knows. Maybe these two would have happily destroyed the world together without anyone holding them back.

I'm happy, this chapter is full of so many fun Livio panels!

With the best part being this little emote face in his speech bubble?? How cute is that! New headcanon, Livio in any au WOULD write messages with emotes after every sentence.

As a crimsonfang enjoyer I'm being very well fed with these interactions.

Their dynamic, especially with Elendira getting more and more pissed off, is SO fun! And such a contrast to the fight between Vash and Legato...actually, it's a good decision to have this fight being a bit fun at times, if it were depressing as well, I don't know how well you'd be able to get past this volume.

And Livio getting more motivated with this clothing, which is his reminder that he has something worth protecting and fighting for, is such a sweet note.

1.) Why did you become interested in Sonic?

This is a difficult one to answer since I first became interested when I was 4 😅 but let's see . . .

I know I started with the classic (Genesis) games. Back in the 90s you could rent game systems AND games from the video department of the grocery store, so one weekend we rented a Genesis with Sonic 1 and I got to play it. I got hooked immediately and spent the next two years begging for a Genesis and Sonic game of my own 😂 I was obviously very bad at it, being a wee lass (I couldn't get past Marble Zone), but I was hooked anyway. For the games, the bright colors and cool music probably had a lot to do with it. My little baby brain was all about the bright colors and cool music.

But in the 90s I was obsessed with Sonic EVERYTHING, so I think AoStH had something to do with it, too! I remember thinking Sonic was SOOOO cool and I wanted to be just like him. I loved how snarky he was and I 100% used his catchphrases 😂 I also loved his relationship with Tails. AoStH got me hooked on found family EARLY. Disney princess romances nothing, I was all in for the unbreakable bond brothers. Legit, the very first fanfic I ever wrote at the tender age of 6 was about them. (It was so bad. It was a school assignment in 1st grade and we had "about the author" photos taken for the back of the "book" and I posed like Sonic . . . I may have been the world's cringiest 6yo but at least I was having fun.)

So yeah, I guess all of that is why! I just thought Sonic was THE COOLEST, he was my hero as a little one. And honestly, considering he's an anarchist (and therefore antifa) and eco-conscious, I still think he's right about a lot of stuff!

14.) Classic, Dreamcast, or Modern? Pick one.

Dreamcast IS Modern in my mind . . . 😭 it's all 3D, it counts!! I'm so old . . .

Anyway, me being a fossil aside, Modern tbh? While I grew up on the classic games and still enjoy them, the modern games have a bigger cast of characters I care about, including more female characters who actually get to do things. Like, Amy is in CD, but she doesn't get to have agency until Adventure. The modern era also has the IDW comics, which I ADORE, whereas I don't care for Archie and outright hate Fleetway, so.

So yeah, going to have to go Modern! But you know me, I treat it like a sundae bar. I'll pull from all aspects of the franchise for my works, idgaf.

25.) Favorite voice actor for Sonic?

HMM . . . a tossup between Ryan Drummond and Roger Craig Smith, I think! RCS sounds the most natural, like this is a guy you could meet on the street. But also, aside from Jaleel White (who will always be Classic Sonic to me), Ryan Drummond was the Sonic of my childhood and I love how he delivers the sassy lines. His sassy "you've turned into a BIG time villain, Doctor!" in SA2 is peak.

However, honorary mentions go to the aforementioned Jaleel White and Deven Mack. Jaleel is and will always be Classic in my heart, and Deven is doing a GREAT job in Prime. Major kudos to him!!

i’m so drama averse i also hate hurting people’s feelings (though i’m the first to make a sassy comment it’s either lighthearted/in good fun or to someone who genuinely deserves it) so my default is just running away HAHAHA luckily we ended up going to different universities so it was pretty easy to transition out of friendship

Ok so I'll be honest I got nothing to add besides one thing..... a concept of how this could lead to possible ending point.. im kinda tired and I'm not sure how to write fanfiction yet so it's just promts for me

This Headcanon promt timeline thing for this is called timey wimey

So a few of the beginning posts mentioned that time is a bit off there right? So this plays into that

They manage to track down the town of amity and have to call in constantine because they are having trouble getting in due to a barrier

The barrier is there because while they have a portal, it's not entirely stable and they are still working out some things now that they have time

It's also why things are a bit off time wise

Anyway when they magic their way into the town they actually go into the past half a year before the portal opens

They think they messed up the spell, but in actuality, clockwork was trying to stop them from getting in, so he sends them back slightly younger so it maches up

They see this as a chance to fix things and stop a possible end of the world situation before it happen and make a plan

Now in order to learn more they all decide to pose as a nuclear family that's just moved to amity for a change of pace

(Might update with the roles or even make them separate families and or into separate places since they are a big group and it could cause suspicion)

Tim decides that in order to gain more information, he will befriend past danny

He learns a lot about his favorite YouTuber and is happy to have him as a crush friend

His hobbies

His slightly mischievous and downright sassy nature

His hopes and dreams that he won't see if he fails

He even got to meet and get to know his family

His sister was is nice and his parents while a bit overly obsessive passionate about their work, are still very loving parents

(Alot of what they thought happened effected how they perceived people and how they acted

I'm pretty sure Tim for a good while would panic over danny and jazz being in trouble and would need to reign that in and stuff

Here is the first part of the Killer Soriel. There is indeed a second part to it. This is not a fic, just a mesh of thoughts and ideas. Just as a heads up, I see him doing best with a Fell Toriel. Someone who will put up with his sassy and give sassy back.

Killer is a romantic, but he figures love is over for him since, y'know… he's an outcast. But then, one day, he and the others find this lost Fell Toriel outcode who needs help. So they take her home so Boss can take her to the OmegaTimeline. But Killer opts to have some fun while she's around and teases and flirts with her, figuring he might as well since he'll never see her again. Besides, she has the best reaction. She's not initially aggressive to him until he bugs her enough to make threats. And such fun threats they are! She's not scared of him at all!

Well, he'll miss her, but at least she's got a new home, right?

The thing is… she finds she doesn't like it there…

Everyone is just so happy. Even the other FellToriels and she doesn't want to be happy. She wants to be angry. HER HOME WAS DESTROYED! So she goes to Core!Frisk and is like, "get that slimy Sans back here. I want to live there if he will allow it." 

They call Nightmare in, and he is intrigued by this and says, "Sure, but you have to earn your keep." They make a deal for her to be a housekeeper and cook when Horror visits his brother.

Killer is thrilled. He is in love with the fact that she knows he could quickly kill her, yet she doesn't shy away from him. She's not scared or even aggressive unless he provokes aggression. And that is just so amusing to him! And he purposefully makes messes just so she yells at him because, to him, that's fun! 

So, he goes back to teasing and flirting with her. Most days, he's just hanging around her when he has spare time. She finds she doesn't mind. Now and then, he throws out an excellent pun that has her laugh so hard tears form...... he reminds her of her Sans... He used to make her laugh like that. But this one is more energetic and annoying… but not in a way that makes his company unpleasant.

Anyway, she finds that living in a castle is just a bit much, so she asks Nightmare if she can build a cottage in the woods. She would still do her job but doesn't like living in the castle... too many memories of her old life as queen. A time she'd rather forget. Instead, she would like to spend her free time in her own home and walk to the castle daily to work. He's okay with that and assigns the boys to help. Once her house is built, Killer is there nightly, keeping her company bugging her. She enjoys this time together tolerates this since he is Nightmare's son right-hand, and she doesn't want to upset her employer.

Then one day, Killer pesters her about sparring with him in the outdoor arena. He LOVES fighting and wants to see how good she is. Felli (her nickname for now) glares at him and says, "you are far stronger than me; we both know it." But he whines, saying he will let her have a chance, and promises it will be fun. She sighs, puts down her dust rag, and joins him. And with that, they fight. 

Killer loves every second of this, even if he's going easy on her, but he sees she's learning how to counter him quickly. He might be wrong, but she seems to be enjoying this too. 

He's not wrong; she is. She won't admit it, but this is so much fun, and then it dawns on her why. It is like they are dancing, and she loves to dance. So she waits for the right moment before just using her paws, grabbing his left hand and slipping her left behind his back, twirling him around, then dipping him.

Both are blushing at this... from exhaustion from the fight and this pose they are in. They remain in the dipped pose long enough to be awkward, but neither dares to move. Killer is speechless, too, a rare thing for him, but he honestly doesn't know what to think, let alone say. His soul is doing something it hasn't done before. It's not twitching... but pulsing like a heartbeat, and he can feel something that he hadn't felt in ages... what is that feeling?!

Love? Is that love?

As he's figuring this feeling out, Felli notices she is feeling tempted to kiss him. Not wanting to give in to that temptation, she drops him and walks away. Killer just lays there looking up at the sky until the others find him later since he didn't come for dinner. They are worried since he's just out of it and not being the pest he typically is. Nightmare knows, though... The training arena is visible from his library window... he saw the whole thing and calmed their worries while smiling a bit smugly.

“it’s wednesday” junkyu announced. it wasn’t out of the ordinary for him to say whatever was in his brain, but today the other boys decided to humour him a little and asked him to elaborate.

“we should wear pink” he clarified as if everyone should know. asahi rolled his eyes, you’d been pestering asahi to tell junkyu to watch mean girls since well, forever, and that now he’d finally watched it, he wouldn’t shut up about it.

“but you’re not wearing any pink” asahi pointed out after scanning his whole body.

junkyu corrected him by fetching the hoodie he was expecting to wear. it was a soft, baby pink colour, with a little heart on the pocket right in the middle. asahi recognised it straight away.

“where did you get that?” he asked. junkyu couldn’t lie, he’d been caught red handed.

“from your closet” he confessed “but you always wear it and i thought i might look cute in it, can i wear it just for one day?” he begged with pleading eyes.

“hm let me think” asahi put his hand to his chin with sarcasm written all over his face “no” he snatched it from junkyu’s hands. “why would you wear y/n’s hoodie anyway?” he asked

“i-” junkyu stuttered “i didn’t know it was theirs” he said while assessing the situation “but are you really jealous right now? i didn’t know you were the type” he laughed, drawing the attention of the other members.

“no” he scoffed, “i’m not jealous, i just don’t think that they would want you wearing their hoodie. you smell” he spat out, turning his back and heading for his room.

“someone call y/n” junkyu said, wanting you to hear what a jealous man your boyfriend really is.

“don’t you have something better to do, like finding your own pink hoodie, you know, like the one you never take off your own back?” asahi snaps back, referring to the infamous pink hoodie from junkyu’s trademark outfit. as he leaves the living room, asahi takes a hesitant sniff at the jumper, hoping junkyu hasn’t infected it with his scent so much so that it no longer smells of you.

having been stuck inside your house for what felt like a year, you were grateful and willing to accept any invitation to leave. today’s invite came from your boyfriend, yedam, who’d recently been too busy working to come and see you, which was completely understandable. he’d asked if you’d like to join him and a few of his friends on a walk around a nearby park, you of course said yes.

with beautiful scenery came the chance to take beautiful pictures. noticing that your boyfriend was too preoccupied by the ice cream van, you asked one of his friends, jeongwoo, to take a picture of you by the fountain. he agreed and instructed you on how to pose so that it wouldn’t look awkward. you followed his advice and managed to get a few shots. you walked back over to jeongwoo, who innocently stood with your phone in his hand, when you saw your boyfriend come rushing over.

“what are you doing with their phone?” he questioned “they let you take photos of them?” he spat out in a hurt manner.

“yes…” jeongwoo replied before you stepped in.

“how much are they?” you asked, pointing in the ice cream van’s direction, not understanding what all the commotion was about.

“apparently they’re all out of ice cream” he mocked “but why did you let him take photos of you? that’s my job” he pouted with a soft tone to his voice.

“ooo our yedam is all soft for y/n” jeongwoo jeered which, judging by the look yedam gave back to him, was not appropriate. “it was just 3 pictures” jeongwoo clarified “the model isn’t that easy to work with anyway, they have no fresh ideas of their own to spice up my business” he scoffed jokingly while handing your phone back to you, causing yedam to finally crack a smile.

“⅕ stars, pictures came out wonky and the photographer is bossy, unlike my lovely yedam” you smiled, playing into the joke. it wasn’t long before yedam was back to his usual cheerful self and had also finally decided that an iced tea was a good substitute for ice cream too.

there was a lot of things in your house that didn’t make sense, but the worst was definitely the paintings hung up in your room that you’d never gotten around to taking down, mainly because you couldn’t reach them but shhh. you’d always been too shy to ask doyoung, knowing he’d laugh at you and tease you for being too short to reach them, and given you hadn’t been together for that long, you weren’t sure how much you’d appreciate that being your first inside joke.

a friend of yours, jihoon, had come over to your house while doyoung was there, which wasn’t exactly an issue, he knew you and jihoon were friends and he respected that. the three of you often gossiped and gamed together, it was a common thing these days.

“i tell you this every time im here but those are so ugly y/n, please take them down” jihoon glanced up, locking eyes with the spooky man in the painting and shuddering.

“i can’t reach” you joked, forgetting your boyfriend was also there.

“i’ll do it then” jihoon announced, standing up and reaching each painting easily.

“i could have done that” doyoung whispered under his breath while staring at you. you turned to your left to see your boyfriend's unimpressed face. “why did you let him do it?” he questioned, seeming really quite angry.

“he offered, i wasn’t gonna say no” you defended yourself. jihoon took this as his queue to leave and take the artwork elsewhere, he didn’t know where, but anywhere was better than being in that room with you two.

“is it because of his big muscles? is it because you value his opinion more than mine?” doyoung asked, laughing at his own thoughts and how ridiculous they were but possibly true.

“no” you rolled your eyes before making eye contact again “its because he offered” you repeated.

“and if i offered?” he asked, expecting you to say that you would have declined.

“obviously i would have said yes” you replied, “they were horrible i don’t care who got them down i just wanted them gone”

“oh” he sat back and relaxed into the pillow “well i’m glad they’re gone. i didn’t like to say it, but they were creepy” he laughed with you. “the next thing to go is him though” he joked, seeing jihoon walk back into your room, which of course was replied to with a scoff from your sassy friend.

💥haruto:

your sleeping pattern was well and truly out of the window, so you decided to stay up and call one of your friends that you knew would be awake, hyunsuk. he was just like you, you both slept at 4am and woke up at 2pm, so he wasn’t that shocked when you called, wide awake like him.

“where’s haruto? wasn’t he supposed to be staying at your place tonight?” he asked, genuinely concerned about his friend. you flipped the camera to show your bed, where a certain sleepy haruto lay, peacefully entering dreamland. “he’s so cute” hyunsuk giggled, you cooed in agreeance, he really was the cutest.

you stayed on call for about an hour. you were currently laughing about the tiktok he’d just sent to you, your humour was exactly the same too so it’s wasn’t hard for you to crack the other up. all the commotion woke your boyfriend, whose bed head was clearly visible in the reflection of your opened laptop when he sat up.

“did we wake you?” hyunsuk laughed upon hearing a groan from his friend.

“we?” haruto responded in a sleepy voice. “who’s we?”

“uhh us” you pointed between you and the phone.

“y/n? hyunsuk?” he snapped out of his sleepy state quickly. “why are you two up at this time and on the phone together?” you looked at hyunsuk on the screen and smiled, trying to hold in your laughter. “turn that off and come to bed, i want cuddles, and i want you to get some sleep, unlike him” he flung himself back at the bed, only inches away from hitting his head on the headboard.

“wait for me” hyunsuk joked in a teasing tone.

“no, not you” haruto whined. “just y/n please” he smiled closing his eyes and opening his arms, ready for you to join him.

“i guess this is goodnight then” you said to hyunsuk, which haruto followed up with a goodnight for his friend too before you put the phone down.

“now, cuddles please!”

for jaehyuk’s birthday this year, he asked for a small gathering, just close friends, which you of course are included in since you and jeongwoo had been together for over 2 years now. when you arrived, you quickly gauged the atmosphere of the party was pretty light and fun, it wasn’t oppressive in the slightest. usually parties you attended were fully kitted out with loud music, dimly lit rooms and a bunch of strangers in every room, instead your friends were in the living room, just chatting and laughing.

“you came!” jaehyuk screeched, running over to hug you. “oh and you bought a plus one, jeongwoo” he joked around with your boyfriend, who just rolled his eyes in response.

it wasn’t long before the boys delved into the games cupboard and pulled out the “who’s most likely to” box. the oldest of the boys shuffled the cards and took the top one which read “who’s the funniest”. whenever you played, this one always seemed to come out first, so you changed your answer every time to please everyone.

you turned around your board with the name “jaehyuk” written on it. your eyes scanned the room to see almost everyone had his name written on their boards, probably because it was his party after all. you quickly diverted your eyes away, however, when you saw that jeongwoo had written your name, which should have made you feel happy but instead, you felt quite guilty for not writing his.

the game went on, and your name wasn’t written on jeongwoo’s board ever again, despite you putting his for almost everything positive. the rest of the evening, jeongwoo didn’t come near you at all, everyone noticed, everyone questioned it, it was so obvious that he was jealous, but there was no way he was admitting to it.

as you got ready to leave, you glanced over at the boy who was supposed to be staying with you tonight, sat firmly in his place on the sofa.

“jeongwoo, aren’t you coming?” you shouted from the door. “jaehyuk is staying here so you don’t have to worry about him” you teased, everyone else smiling at you and giggling silently.

“fine” he grunted. you made up on the way home, he couldn’t even remember how it all started, he just “wanted to make a point” which, sure, he did.

🌍junghwan:

you and junghwan never got to spend much time together before you became friends with the members since he was always with them or at school, which is why he’s never complained or showed any jealousy when you are with them.

today you headed over to their dorms to relax and play when you remembered, today was the day of junghwan’s english exam. you pulled out your phone and dropped him a quick good luck text before continuing your journey.

yoshi brought you up to his room where he said you could chill for a bit since everyone else was still sleeping, other than those who had school of course. yoshi began to ask you lots of questions, you learnt a lot about each other in that hour or so, and the conversation was flowing so well that you didn’t hear the door.

“y/n, you did remember?!” junghwan asked excitedly, clapping his hands while smiling from ear to ear. “you came all the way here to see me after i finished?”

“remember what?” you asked, bewildered. “your exam? yeah i sent you a text, i’m sorry i didn’t realise until i was over half way here else i would have gone to see you first” you confessed, feeling guilty. his face dropped at your honest words.

“you mean you came all the way here just to see yoshi?” he asked. “everyone else was in the kitchen, but you two were in here… alone…?” disappointed in your reasoning and forgetfulness, he slowly backed out of the room. he wanted to cry, but he couldn’t. he wanted to feel sad and upset, but did you really do anything wrong, he thought. “you couldn’t have just turned around and gone home”

“well i didn’t want to, i wanted to see my friends. i didn’t realise that most of them didn’t get up until the afternoon” you walked closer to him, praying that he didn’t try and get away. “i’m sorry i forgot about your exam”

he shuffled closer to you. you’d never argued before, and he wasn’t sure how to respond, so he hoped a hug would go down well. as he hugged you, he whispered his own apology into you hair “i’m sorry for jumping to conclusions”

Anyway I'm here to rant about Mechat and there will be spoilers for anyone interested, even if the story has been on that app for a while.

The Corey Moore story pisses me off! You meet a guy who's a rock star who both loves and hates fame. He's got a daughter that's he keeps secret to protect her from the spotlight and an agent that's his scorned ex. Oh, and the daughter is with some other woman who has no part beyond being his daughter's baby sitter.

What the FUCK dude?

I'm not a fan of the fact he has a kid and it's clear she's only present to be Corey's vulnerable spot. Not once does Corey offer to introduce you or include her.

Who the hell hires an ex to work in a very intimate part of their life?? Apparently Corey doesn't see why this is a bad idea, even though he KNOWS she still wants him. He never takes any of her threats seriously either and the character you play isn't written with a spine, probably because challenging the main antagonist of this story would make Corey a very quick run. Your 2nd date Corey takes you to one of his shows to get a Backstage VIP experience where you meet his agent who tells you to back off. You can choose to be a bit sassy but you GIVE IN. WHAT THE FUCK. The next time Corey messages you is even he finds out what happened and he apologizes for leaving you alone.

After he confronts and fires his agent, Corey takes you on a date, after which there's a knock at the door. Your character decides to just... leave? I can't remember. But you find out that Corey has been arrested for assault against the ex. He says he just grabbed her neck for a moment after she threatened to expose his daughter's existence to the world, which I rolled my eyes to.

So far the story ignores some REALLY key things about- well, the real world. Corey, with his influence, could have had the police handle the agent's threat. Also, he's a grown man, a public figure, and would know better than to touch the person threatening to ruin his life.

Personally, I wouldn't have written the agent as the villain, but a fellow celebrity, or just someone from his past NOT a part of his entourage defaming him.

Now, after he's been arrested, and I guess the trial, the agent takes everything from him. I assume he does time as well because the app makes it seem like a lot of time has passed before Corey messages you again. When you go meet him, you see his new home, which the writer does their best to have you believe Corey lives in a hovel. It's actually more like a house in the suburbs.

Yet again, after a steamy time, the ex comes knocking on Corey's door. The two are fighting outside, and this time you see what happens. She opens her coat to flash Corey her lingerie in an effort to get him to fuck her. Yeah, okay, sure. You actually seem to grow a pair and tell her what you think of her little stunt, but I personally think it's not enough. This woman has threatened the man you're written to be in love with AND his child, and all you get to do is call her pathetic? Frustrating.

And finally, the next time Corey messages you, he tells you that his ex has taken his child and will only give her back if he agrees to marry her. You get to be completely sane and tell him to call the police, and he tells you no cops. For no reason. He hasn't said his ex threatened to hurt his kid if he called the cops, but keeps insisting no cops. He then tells you that no matter what happens he loves you and to delete the chat so you aren't implicated into what he's going to do, which is shoot his ex. This is revealed with a cringe picture of him posing on some stairs with the gun.

I hate this ending SO much. It implies that the mother of the child doesn't know the ex-agent is a dangerous woman and freely let her child go with her. Even if the daughter was picked up at her school, it also shows that the mom didn't try to call the cops or talk to Corey about the safety of THEIR child. Corey seems to choose to talk to YOU about this. I get it, this is a romance rpg game, but that's no excuse for a poorly written story. If the whole goal is player involvement, and the child is necessary for your story, then write it so it makes sense. Also, Corey posing with a gun is so tasteless, and ignores his commitment to being a good dad. A good father would exhaust all options before turning to a path that may get his child hurt in the process. But then again... this is the same man who hired his crazy ex to be his agent, didn't take her threats seriously, lost control of himself... okay, maybe Corey does just make really bad decisions.

You know what, though? I see good bones in this story. As I have been criticizing it, I have found ways to make the story better, and I feel I could write a good fanfiction with the characters and settings! So... Corey probably was worth the gems I spent on him. Next up: Glenn Hobbs.
