Hob is mostly a nice demon!! He was all about lust and gluttony rather than like... murder. He got bound to the house in a botched exorcism and now he's so happy because Dream is here! He's so beautiful and Hob just wants to make him happy, but there's only so much he can do. He can't really help with physical tasks or support Dream as he'd like to. He can fuck Dream, but he can't let Dream return the favour because that would give him a flood of power and he'd be forced to reveal his actual form.

Eventually Hob gets sick of pretending to be a ghost, because it sucks. He sets up a few traps so Dream can't run away from him, and he comes clean about the whole thing! Dream is... surprisingly casual about it. He's even pleased when Hob says that he can take on a proper human form and stop floating around like an idiot!

Hob has to immediately run around disarming the traps because he really didn't expect Dream to take it so well, lol. Unfortunately he misses one, and he has to explain to his very unimpressed boyfriend exactly why he's now dangling from the ceiling in a pair of medieval manacles.

It only takes a few seconds of Latin chanting for Hob to scramble and let him out... but Dream did look pretty sexy hanging there all helpless and frustrated. It's fair to say that now Hob’s demonic side is on the loose, Dream will be getting into much more trouble than he used to...
