merry   christmas   @bossbones   ! !

it   was   a   couple   days   before   christmas   and   the   head   of   the   battle   tree   had   plans   set   in   motion.      he’d   already   contacted   guzma,      made   sure   he   was   home,      and   now   red   was   well   on   his   way   to   po   town   to   deliver   the   early   gift.

he’d   arrived   with   excitement   thrumming   through   his   bones,      giving   little   knowing   smiles   to   the   grunts   he   passed   who   seemed   just   as   eager   as   he   was.

pulling   two   slips   of   paper   from   his   pocket   he   extended   them   out   toward   the   leader.         ❛      merry   christmas.      ❜         he   murmured   happily.      cruise   tickets,      a   small   trip   that   would   only   last   two   days   and   drop   them   off   right   back   here   on   christmas   day.      the   tickets   he   offered   had   the   names   and   times   of   the   trip,      boarding   tomorrow   morning,      but   the   ticket   underneath   guzma’s   ...   ...      wasn’t   reserved   for   red.
