💜 :   who said “i love you” first?

leah.   she doesn’t overthink stuff like that,   she doesn’t have the same history of like bullying and rejection holding her back.   she’s gotten knocked down a little by now,   but when they met,   she had the confidence of a pretty blonde lady who did very good in high school and achieved Acclaim within her field pretty fast.   there’s a certain amount of Ballsiness that comes with that.   she says what’s on her mind,   even if it’s deep emotional revelations.

💛 :   who believes in soulmates?

i think they both do,   deep down,   but i’m gonna say wes more.   leah likes to play herself as more of a cynic,   as someone who sees nuance in life and knows sometimes That Person simply can’t be out there for everyone.   but love does crazy things..   wes however feels just the right amount of manic to be all aboard the soulmate train whether he’s open about it or not.

💕 :   who is more likely to make huge declarations of love in front of other people?

i think wes.   leah again still fancies herself a cynic and while wes has gotten through to her mushy core,   she’s still not on huge declaration level.   if she does,   it’s always tinged with some kind of dramatic flare that gives her a way to excuse it as a Goof.   i feel like when it comes to public declarations,   wes would be more willing to do so in a Genuine and Real manner because he has a theatre background and wears his heart on his sleeve a little more.

Leah and Wesley

big spoon/little spoon:   like in a proper , structured spooning situation , leah is little spoon but they are not proper structured spooning people they’ve Transcended.   they’re constantly finding new ways to wallow each other at every turn that don’t have such a rigid structure

favorite non-sexual activity:   like its corny but they really just like talking.   i feel like something that comes through consistently in their threads is they both talk like absolute maniacs but are still constantly amazed by eachother’s ability to match that so like yeah maybe they love just filling a room up with hot air

who uses all the hot water:   wesley feels like a long shower man to me but leah is in the school of thought that if you’re gonna spend that long bathing it has 2 be a bath so im gna say wes.

most trivial thing they fight over:   leah’s biggest pet peeve is when she puts on a sick fit n feels like she’s stunting but she can tell wes has already hyper-fixated on some aspect of it and if she doesn’t change before they leave he’ll bring it up all night

who does most of the cleaning:   leah always says she’s gonna get to it but wes gets tired of waiting for that Empty Promise

who controls the netflix queue:   wes for the most part leah trusts his decisions they’ve got similar tastes when it comes 2 binge-able weeknight lets watch content

who calls up the landlord when the heat’s not working:   leah because she has little to no body heat and notices as soon as that thermostat drops below 72

who steals the blankets:   its a constant battle for dominance .

who leaves their stuff around:   leah,   especially when she’s writing.   if she gets inspired,   she’s dropping what she’s doing where she’s doing it to get at it.

who remembers to buy the milk:   leah.

who remembers anniversaries:   they both do because they spend the week in advance hyping that shit up its an EVENT

who cooks normally?:   they’re takeout people more than ever living in carina

how often do they fight?:   not often.  they’re weirdly in sync and surprisingly good at communicating things and seeing where the other is coming from

what do they do when they’re away from each other?:   they’re probably one of those annoying face time couples

nicknames for each other?:   more than nickname people they’re pet name people and they sprinkle in some fun ones like sure darling and shit is fair game but shorty is also on the table going both ways so

who is more likely to pay for dinner?:   if they’re going out leah lets wes pay but she’ll pick up takeout and stuff it evens out in the end

who kissed who first?:   leah is a woman of action

who made the first move?:   leah.   in general,   she takes longer to genuinely warm up to people,   and assumed wes was just another of the jackass artsy guys that rolled thru the crew but he really did charm her when he started giving his food network hot or not list.

who remembers things?:   i feel like they’re Evenly Matched in this department idk

who started the relationship?:   leah again she’s driving this train anyways i feel like bc he’s been Burned there could be hesitance from wes but leah’s forward about what she wants in relationships n wouldn’t have a problem asking what are we?

who cusses more?:   leah but she does it in an elegant way,

what would they do if the other one was hurt?:   she’s not afraid 2 exact revenge on whoever it was that DARED to hurt her man ,  and u know why?    she do anything necessary for him bc she knows he do anything necessary for her. tldr; don’t let the necessary occur

leah & wes.     ❝  i don’t mean to alarm you,  ❞   she starts,   carrying wine glasses to where wesley sits on the couch.  ❝  but it’s getting dangerously close to halloween,   and we don’t have any discernible plans ----   unless family friendly fall festivals are the extent of what carina’s bustling social current has to offer.  ❞   leah hands off his glass,   then lounges out next to him,   stretching her legs over his lap.    ❝  not that it isn’t charming.   i’d just love to feel like my extreme costume assembling talents aren’t going to waste.   ❞   she punctuates this with a smile,   to dull the harshness of the sentiment,   but she can’t lie:   as a proud urbanite,   she was accustomed to more of a night life then carina had been able to offer her thus far.   she takes a sip from her glass,   allowing herself to hope that just perhaps,   he’d be able to come to the rescue with better plans.   @affiinities​
