                  “this is gonna be weird because i’ve never had to ask this before--” it’s already weird how he has to give himself some sort of introduction before saying what he wants to. it’s unusual behavior for zee... but it was a rather unusual situation for him, too, so he can’t quite be blamed. 

unfortunately, though, he’s nervous, licking his dry lips before stretching his neck, trying to get the words out. spit it out, dumbass. it’s a simple question. “you-- the last time-- what was the last time, exactly?”
