😤 Did they ever intentionally go against their parent(s)/guardian(s) in a fit of defiance? What did they do?

Cassius has done so here and there, but he kept these acts of defiance a secret from his parents as best he could, since they were often in favor of his brother despite their differences. He chose not to out Izaya to their father as he would not have hesitated to cut his own son out of the inheritance, and despite their mother's insistence, Cassius refuses to cut Izaya out himself.

📖 What values did their parent(s)/guardian(s) really drill into their head?

Family is important, but in the way that everything they do should be for betterment of their house; they have a reputation to uphold above all else. Showing respect towards their elders is another big one.

🫄Do they want to start a family of their own one day? Have they already?

As the heir to House Astra, it was expected of Cassius to start his own family. He was introduced to his wife Florence through one of his friends, and the pair eventually had a son they named Sireva.

📝 Do they want to emulate their family’s dynamics? Do they want to avoid it as much as possible?

Edmund and Agnes' love was conditional, which Cassius witnessed first hand when it came to their treatment of Izaya. If either brother refused to comply with what was expected of them, they were often punished and in Izaya's case, completely shunned by the family. Although he didn't desire to have such a relationship with his own son, it was all Cassius knew, so growing up Sireva felt immense pressure to follow his father's wishes in order to gain his affection.
