werewolves -  i have this idea where one muse is a werewolf who lives with their mum or dad in a cabin in the woods and second muse is a newly turned wolf who has no idea what’s going on so A has to adopt them and help them through their first shifts and introduce them to the world of wolves and what not. bonus points if its nordic/scandinavian with big norse mythology vibes

period vampires! i don’t have much to say for this one bc there’s lots of directions we could go, i would rly love to play a jodie comer fc for this perhaps..., kind of like interview with a vampire/anne rice style vampires maybe? 

i love anything to do with fae lore, esp the rly traditional stuff. also love anything from holly blacks’ fae verses. changeling plots are particuarly *chef’s kiss*. i also have a fae bard (indya moore fc) that i app’d a group with and then said group died before it started so let me live the dream.

i have a faulty android muse that i’d love to plot with in a setting based off cypberpunk 2077 (or the original 2020 ttrpg). based on this super old comic from tumblr where the android escapes half-broken from the corp that made them and breaks into a techies’ shop to fix themselves up

fantasy mumus in settings like the elder scrolls or dragon age or a generic ass fantasy settings where we could just make a bunch of ocs and stick ‘em together in a guild like in ur standard dungeons and dragons set up. i have a lot of dnd ocs. and a lot of them will never be used in games so??

something rly cutesy and farmcore with like stardew valley/animal crossing/harvest moon vibes plot where its all whimsical and rural and fervently anti-capitalist but has maybe some soft fantasy vibes (look i just rewatched the animal crossing film and im,, in love once again, bonus for older muses looking for a city escape). i also saw this post that mentioned a witch running a cat shelter like that it;s thats the ship. cat shelter witch x former corporate wage slave turned farm girl. i’m a genious.

so i think of aubrey being protective of em in a similar way that ginny was of luna 

since emily is a pureblood, she kind of has an easier time not getting shit from the slytherins 

emily’s kind of clumsy and lanky and awkward around people though, so people who only know her in passing make fun of her 

she also likes going to the great lake and sitting there talking to the mermaids, but no one knows that she can speak mermish so they don’t realize that she’s communicating and they just hear her talking and think shes crazy and talking to herself

aubrey absolutely hates this and is trying to dispel that rumor as much as she can because for gods sake emily can speak MERMISH thats so COOL 

emily tries not to take the bullying to heart. it helps that she has her friends defending her 

and her soon-girlfriend who would literally fight anyone for emily 

if they were in a verse where the second wizarding war was happening....oh gosh 

aubrey probably wants to try to get out of hogwarts as soon as possible...but emily want to stay and fight so you’re damn right aubrey is staying there for emily. 

they fight side by side, and aubrey discovers that emily is surprisingly good in combat (maybe emily secretly joined dumbledores army?) 

their roles get flipped when aubrey gets hurt suddenly and emily’s face to face with a death eater and manages to close her eyes and muster the courage to avada kedavra him

she rushes aubrey to safety and does all of the healing she knows with all the spells and herbology knowledge she has

aubrey ends up okay and shes starts crying when she sees em is crying but theyre both holding each other and mumbling “youre okay, we’re okay, oh my god.” 

emily and aubrey both getting nightmares abt the battle at hogwarts and waking up and just holding each other close until they can sleep again

since i have a lot of new hp related followers, i wanted to throw a few verses out there for my non-hp/oc characters

janet from the good place: she’s a hogwarts ghost unaffiliated with any house ( she definitely went to hogwarts in her youth, but there are no records on what house she was in and no one has ever found out ). she always has the answer to every single question. rumor is that if you call for her she appears no matter the time of day. this is more fact than rumor. 

sophia keener: originally a marvel semi-oc, little sister of harley keener. muggleborn ravenclaw student a year below harry. her brother is five years older than her ( it’s up to the harley who i’m writing with what house they’re in ). as soon as he goes away she hates being alone. her mother works most of the time, her father left, and it’s clear that sophia has magic too and her mother doesn’t quite know how to handle it. but she’s smart. she’s always in a tree or learning about an animal. she’s tenacious and brilliant and part of her misses muggle school when she goes. from everything she learns about hogwarts from her brother it’s a surprise to her she doesn’t end up in hufflepuff, but ravenclaw instead. absolutely terrible on a broom. fantastic at care of magical creatures, healing courses, and anything that would be related to ecology or biology in the muggle world. open to ships.

aubrey daly: originally an oc star wars resistance pilot. gryffindor student, pureblood, chaser for the quidditch team. plays professionally once she’s graduated and then moves on to be a spell creator. in fred and george’s year, i think, though that can certainly be adapted. open to ships.

annie smith: in canon she’s from magic tree house. a first year student. muggleborn. has a brother two years older than her. she was a hatstall between gryffindor and hufflepuff, and ended up in hufflepuff. she’s usually hanging around hagrid’s hut. parselmouth, perhaps. not open to ships she’s eleven.
