i just realized that i can absolutely have the threads where aisling’s kids and the squad meet the people she’s dating and just put them through a week-long drill to see if they’re worthy of a place in the family group chat. like yeah they’re worried for aisling’s well-being also but like. she can take care of herself. the real questions here are: will they be annoying in the group chat, and are they worth the endless hassle of being invited into the group chat and then possibly being removed if there’s a break-up down the line.
