★“ I’ve been paying attention, ” Joseph replied back, the smirk displaying itself over his face widened sheepishly over being chastised for his eyes’ tendency to remain over the other’s face. Their fingers were woven perfectly, eyes looking skyward as the dotted tapestry hung over the entirety of the World in all it’s Beauty of the Heavens painting the scenary in washes of blues and indigos. The grass was cool, the dew just beginning to cling to the greenery from the moisture in the air. Their arms dropped, an opportunity presenting for Joseph to pick up the slack this time as he lifted their arms to point. “ Aquarius, Aquila, Aries.. Cygnus I believe, it’s the big one that looks like a giant lopsided cross.. then there’s Leo the Lion, Orion is never unmistakable for the three dots that make up his Belt. ”

★“ Then there’s the two dogs that follow him, Canis Major and Minor.. I think there was something about Andromeda somewhere over here but don’t quote me on that. Draco, Eridanus, Fornax.. Gemini I think, Lynx, Cetus, Taurus. ” Joseph listed off what he could remember, the positions were more of a puzzle he wouldn’t be able to pin so easily as he gave a vague indication with his index for where he believed the associated Constellations whose places he forgot upon the Heavenly Domain. 

Truth be told, he preferred it when Caesar was the one talking, explaining things to him or just overall speaking in some way. An inquisitive mind always thirsted for knowledge, even moreso for someone that is admired to be the one teaching. A squeeze of his fingers occasionally curled at their intertwined fingers, a reminder sometimes, a simple want for it’s own sake in other times.

When the time came he could not remember anymore of the stars, he let their arms fall down gently to the earth. A breeze wafted over the landscape, refreshing as it brushed against the man’s face and the silence of tranquility enveloped. Teal orbs gazed Heavenward, moving himself to be that much nearer to the Italian even if they were already close as it were. Caesar’s head rested at the space where Joseph’s arm met his shoulder, the simplest of gestures or moments shared between them spoke a discreet language only they could share with one another.

★“ Do you know where Libra is; if it’s up there right now,  I know some constellations don’t appear for certain parts of the year or they’re in the Southern Hemisphere. ” How anyone could make a map based off the stars was both an impressive yet ludicrous idea the more he looked at the dizzying array of dots and thin washes of color that were only overlayed by the brilliant streak of the Milky Way spilling over the Sky. “ Or something like that, I’m not an Astronomer by any means~ ”

A hum tinged at the air, those brilliant Oceanic pools of Joseph’s closed for the time being before he uttered out in a simple statement.

★“ I asked you because I like being told what everything is, I don’t know much about the stars but you do since you named so many and now I know them too.. kinda. Maybe not ALL right Now but I’ll memorize them the longer you keep telling me about them. Who knows, this may help me if I ever have to fly a plane at night and my map gets lost or something! ” Joseph chortled, another squeeze of his fingers laid their claim over Caesar’s. 

★“ Besides, listening to you is perhaps the only time you ever hear me shut up for once, eh, Shizarino~? ”
