may not be able to get on today to do replies, because I had decided to procrastinate on finishing the rest of the ex-Fine / 5 Eccentric event on EnStar. Hehehe~ I'm about 4 days away from completing the event and I also plan on getting all copies of Rei's card and I'm halfway there~

ATEEZ October
What makes ATEEZ beautiful/unique
Tumblr media
They were my first group after BTS that I was like 'yup, they're the one' since then, only one or two other bg have given me that feeling.
I love that they're so strict and assertive about their values 'kindness' being one of them and how ambitious they are, and their ability to build tension and energy during challenging times....love it love them
Their performances I could listen to all day and I love just being able to see them grow.
I love these boys with all my heart it's impossible not to when they're just boys but also so respectful and fun and just pure about it.
They're my first group that I've been super interested in from their rookie days, those that came before weren't rookies and those that came after i knew about casually and then started stanning more seriously down the line

Laurie’s Family
The Vexen Family, like most Umbra septs, has been around for five millennia. The current Elder (or “head”) of the sept is Laurie’s cousin twice-removed Monrok Vexen (her father’s great-uncle), with the next in line being Laurie’s first cousin-removed (her father’s first cousin) Vuxl’ira to take over as the sept’s Elder.
Through Laurie’s mother, they are also closely tied to the Luxqun (pronounced “luhx-kyoon”) Family, a sept that can root their ties all the way back to the Umbra’s home planet, Lexos, before its eventual destruction.
Serai Vexen (297) - Mother
A member of the Luxqun sept, and youngest great-grandchild of that sept’s Elder.
She was introduced to her future husband Cid when she was 115 years old.
While the term “arranged marriage” was never thrown around, there was certainly a lot of pressure for her to get married to Cid.
Serai’s mindset about her prey was very straight forward - hunt to feed and that’s it. This conflicted with her husband’s idea of hunting, but she left him to his vices.
She didn’t want children, but she had Laurie out of obligation with the Umbra dwindling in numbers over the past few thousand years.
She was the one that proposed Laurie’s name, since her favorite horror film at the time was Halloween. Cid protested at first because he wanted to name Laurie after the protagonist of Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter, Tommy Jarvis. Serai won a coin toss and the rest was history.
Serai was the stricter of the two in the parenting department - it wasn’t that she didn’t love her daughter, but she was cold and unaffectionate.
Cid Vexen (307) - Father
The oldest child in his immediate family, though he was not a Vexen sept heir - the title belonged his oldest cousin Vux’lira.
His feelings about hunting were different from his wife’s  - he loved a good chase because, according to him, adrenaline made the blood “taste” better and he liked to terrify his victims.
Became a psychiatrist because the mind fascinated him more than the physical body.
He wasn’t faithful the first few decades of his marriage, but with some time he grew to love his wife and turned himself around in that aspect.
He wasn’t too keen on children at first, like his wife, but when Laurie was born he grew unexpectedly attached. Much more attached than his wife.
He was more affectionate and emotional towards Laurie than Serai was. But he was equally disappointed that Laurie didn’t like to hunt.
While he loved his daughter (in his own way), it was his idea to lock up Laurie and force her to drink natural blood. He thought this would make her fully realize how important the value of real blood was.
