1. Buck didn't sleep the night after the first kiss. You know that busy brain was either going "!!!!!!!!!!!!" Or replaying that moment for the next 12 hours, minimum. And he did not figure out what the word Saturday meant until, like, the next night.

2. Tommy likes to nibble on Buck's fingers when they are cuddling. Just nomming on a knuckle.

3. Buck forgets to set the alarm on Tommy's house security system all the time. To the point that Tommy makes a sign for the fridge saying "have you armed the house?"

4. Tommy likes getting pedicures.

5. Buck steals the blankets unless he's playing the role of Human Blankie.

17. Do you have a writing routine?

Nope! Absolutely none. I work in chaos. I mainly write on my work laptop (oops) during lunch because I have my own office and I can sit and rewrite a scene twenty times percolate. But sometimes I dream of a bit of dialogue, or a particular turn of phrase and have to wake up and write it immediately on my phone in bed (terrible) or on my phone on the bus (worse)

43. Is there a trope or idea that you’d really like to write but haven’t yet?

I really want to write something set when the bugs were staying in their cabins at Loch Earn but that hasn't crystallised into a fully formed idea yet, so it's languishing in a document with a few articles links and pictures. One day!

78. What motivates you during the writing process?

I'm not gonna lie and say it's not comments but... I actually do really enjoy the process. There's nothing quite like poking and prodding and forming this little story into life. And then sometimes other people like it! What a time to be alive :')

favorite colors: green! but i have different favorites for different things--i love gold and red for decorating, turquoise is my favorite color for appliances and kitchenware, i am weirdly into orange for small electronics and got some super fun orange shorts lately so maybe it's the dawn of orange stuff now. anything could happen, there's a whole rainbow out there.

5. Favorite form of potato? Roasted. I especially enjoy patatas bravas at tapas restaurants because they come with red pepper sauce and aioli so it’s like grown up ketchup and mayo with fries.

9. Do you have a skincare routine? Yes I do, because my skin is dry af this winter and it hurts. I’ll do water or a mist, then hyaluronic acid (don’t put it on dry skin, kids! It’ll make things worse), then maybe serum and then face cream and sunscreen in the morning and face oil at night. It sounds like overkill but my skin dried up so bad. I never thought I’d miss having oily skin.

13. First thing you’re doing in the purge? Erasing everyone’s medical debt. I’d prepare beforehand obviously since I’m no hacker.

14. Do you think you’re dehydrated? No. I drink tons of water and it makes a huge difference. Now have some water, guys!

29. Favorite pasta noodle? Probably farfalle? Or gnocchi. Does gnocchi count? If it does then it’s gnocchi.

Once Chimney is better, he makes Tommy promise to come over for movie nights so that they can "educate our Buckleys". Tommy agrees since he likes hanging out with Chimney, plus Maddie is a sweetheart.

They all agree that to have Film Critic Night once a quarter, when they dress up and have wine and cheese and then deliver their best impression of a snooty film critic reviewing a movie. Each of them gets to pick something for Film Critic Night, and it has to be a fun movie but is also so bad that it's nearly impossible for the others to give serious reviews. The one who can deliver the Snootiest Critique wins.

Chimney picks the fourth Transformers movie. Tommy wins because his entire review was based on the use of vehicles and damages to engines in the crashes.

Maddie picks Sharknado ("it sounds silly!"). Buck wins when he cites all the egregious errors in shark behaviour, culminating with "and sharks would certainly not be in an aggressive mood if sucked into a swirling vortex of aerial DEATH".

Tommy picks XXX. Buck thought it was porn until Vin Diesel pops up onscreen. Maddie wins (with her husband's help) by listing all the ways he should have died or been maimed.

Buck picks Dungeons and Dragons ("it sounds silly!"). Unfortunately it is an actually good movie so they vote that he loses. Tommy licks his cheek when he sulks and they get popcorn thrown at them for being gross.
