A chicken, brie, and apple panini, accompanied by some crisps and roasted brussel sprouts, miraculously materializes on the table next to Sam while he's reading. A label-less bottle of blackberry soda appears a few seconds thereafter. There's no note or signature, but the meal will leave Sam feeling pleasantly warm for the rest of the day.

Hyperfocused on his research, Sam didn't notice the lunch served to him until he almost knocked it over with his elbow while trying to discard a page from his notebook.

The delicious panini and sides befuddled him because he knew he hadn't prepared them, nor had he had time to, and Dean had been gone for hours, so it couldn't have been him either. Few options remained, then, and all of them of the angelical kind.

Either way, he felt grateful to whoever had brought him the meal (he had his suspicions on who it had been), especially since his stomach had been grumbling for a while now, and it all looked appetizing enough to dive in right here and there.
