so some good news:

-my workplace is considered mission critical... for now. so we are dodging the purge going on right now at my job. -however I am still emotionally tired and exhausted, they're still trying to prune stuff and I'm taking two college courses so my time is limited. -I'll be back closer to April after one of my classes are done

I went to a small local comic con today - really small - and there was a vendor who sold a variety of (old) comics, and upon browsing a bit, I found this - and had to take it home with me, obviously.

It's a collection and apparently includes the comic where our moon boy first appeared as well as his comic issues 1-6. So yeah. I'm actually not a comic-person but... I had to get it. :] For... reasons.

CHEEKY LIL' UPDATE TIME 🥳

first of all, thanks SO much to those of you that have liked this post that I made a couple of weeks ago. it means so much to me that I have your blessing to yap on about my boi to y'all whenever I gather up the nerve because a bish can be shy. I'm ngl to you—a bish can be shy. even a known yapper like me.

BUT, ANYWAY, I just wanted to let y'all know that the dual-muse blog set-up is going smoothly. I've made a lot of progress on the new carrd within the last two weeks and, most recently, I was inspired by this popular dash game. y'all have likely heard of it. it's fun to make and it's even funnier to play.

that's right! I decided to create a shipping compatibility page for funsies because I wondered if I could take the type bingo card and make it a feature and—lo and behold, you can! I created these just now and I'm hoping ( and praying ) that it doesn't go downhill from here—but, given how drawn I am to weirdos ( /aff ), it probably will. in any case, I can't wait to finish these ( especially since it's SO much easier to fill out than the template for this dash game let me tell you )

I'm back from the Marvel Exhibit I went to today! It was rather small, and mainly focused on the history of Marvel comics and how they came to be - which was interesting all by itself, definitely.

The main topic was everything Spider Man as well as Fantastic 4 and then some 'how the Avengers came to be', though. Other characters were mentioned too, but not as heavily (they still got some smaller sections), and they had a bunch of hand-drawn original comic pages for display too... such things.

But they also had a bunch of original props there from a variety of movies / TV shows - Loki, Ms. Marvel, Black Panther, Ant Man's Mask, Peter Quill's Mask, Dr. Strange's outfit, all kinds of weapons...

Moon Knight wasn't mentioned at all sadly, but I didn't expect him to, because he's a rather 'small part' of Marvel, all things considered. Hell, even the Dr. Strange section was very small / nonexistent.

BUT THEN. A SUDDEN APPEARANCE OF MOON KNIGHT SUIT. Yes, an original prop (was told to me). THE ORIGINAL MOON KNIGHT SUIT FROM THE SHOW. I, of course, had to share. As said, they also had Dr. Strange's outfit there as well, which I was very happy about to see! Right next to Moon Knight. But the Moon Knight surprised me SO MUCH I let out kind of an embarrassing squeal haha. :'D ANYWAYS here he is, bc I wanna share with you guys:

okay, I am so pissed off, it's not even funny

I created the dual muse blog that I've been teasing earlier this week and things were going well. as I was setting my side-blogs up, though, I noticed that tumblr terminated one of them ( it was the one I was working on at that ). naturally upset about that, I sent in a ticket about this issue. for some reason, when the tumblr help desk got back to me, they labeled my problem as "Email Request Received" when I specified in Something Else that the problem was that one of my side-blogs was terminated. anyway, I tried again today.

no help either.

since I was tired of waiting for tumblr to get its shit together, I decided to change the url of my then-only side-blog and then create a brand-new side-blog. I added a theme to the first side-blog and edited it. all seemed well, so I did the same with the other side-blog. as I was done making tiny edits to the theme, tumblr decided to screw me over ONCE AGAIN by deleting BOTH of my side-blogs this time. like. what the hell. WHAT is going on here?! is this some sort of BUG? are we not allowed to add themes to our blogs anymore—or just our side-blogs specifically? I AM AT MY WIT'S END WITH THIS.
