Out of everything he heard that night, that was what made him freeze. Stiles had been halfway through pouring himself a third cup of coffee, the clock on the machine was blinking the lateness of the hour at him, when she spoke, and he took his time turning to face Lydia. The beautiful strawberry blonde that had his heart since they were teenagers. The one that served him divorce papers. He hadn’t seen her since she dropped them on their kitchen table and walked out of their home on the other side of the country from where they stood now, and honestly he shouldn’t have been surprised. Lydia’s best friend was suddenly back from the dead, why wouldn’t she be here? Still. He’d curse Scott out for not giving him a proper warning later. For now he leaned his back against Melissa’s kitchen counter and finally made eye contact with the woman he was still married to. On the outside she didn’t look too different from that night, but Stiles had spent so long studying Lydia Martin, that he could spot the slight changes in her stature, in her demeanor, in a second. Morgan had woken up alone in bead and after he had got ready for the day and made sure Eli was dressed, fed and entertained. He attempted to see if Derek had left a note or message about where he went. It would seem his boyfriend or Stud Wolf as he called him had pulled a disappearing act. He mildly cursed in Gaelic under his breath before he gathers his things and Eli to track down his beau. With Eli in his sling hanging bright eyed to the world on his chest he left on foot.

He discreetly used his nose to track Derek down and walked across town in search of him. He may have stopped along the way to wet his whistle with some coffee as he went. But eventually the trail led him to a house. Now what did he do? He cocks his head and hears an unfamiliar heartbeat, just the one. So, he did what a Sourwolf would not do and knocked on the front door.

The Sallow Times doesn’t normally print physical editions on Thursdays, but Thursday morning can find the employees of the Times as well as many volunteers distributing it.  The paper is not a full paper, but rather a few pages covering a breaking news story and the information known so far.   This printing, it is suspected, occurred in the dead of night before Armes E. Sallow could see what would be hitting the stands.

Information that will leave Sallow Hills shaken forever.

Bodies Hidden from Us - is this where our missing go? written by Stiles Stilinski. 

A whistleblower who will be further referred to as Canary has contacted me with horrifying news.  For far too long, bodies have been brought in from the woods and kept from the public’s knowledge.  We are currently investigating the identities of these bodies, and just how many have been killed, thanks to a few people who are willing to put their necks on the line for this information to get out.  The following information may be disturbing for readers, and we advise caution. 

So far three bodies have been identified.  Canary is looking for more bodies that may have been hidden from the public’s eye.  

Oswald Cobblepot and Victor Zsasz’s bodies were brought into the morgue in September of last year.  It is estimated that they died in the early days of that month and their bodies spent some time in the woods before being found and brought to the morgue.  There were signs of a fight, though this is no surprise from two residents caught in a murder plot early in their time in Sallow Hills.  Cause of death for both were said to be bullet wounds.  Records of those who may have come into the hospital with injuries from the fight have been scrubbed and are unable to be located.  

A third body was also identified, this one brought in October 2017.  After investigating, it seems the body is one of Tate Langdon.  Estimated death date is around New Years Day of that year, and cause of death seems to be multiple stab wounds across the body that led to bleeding out.  There is a note on the form that has been uncovered that a known person from his past, Violet Harmon was in town at this time, though she has since gone missing and is unable to be questioned.  Roommate of the time, Basilton Grimm-Pitch, refused to comment.

You guys remember the so-called gas explosion last year?  Well, I actually found some interesting notes in the studio today.  It should be known these notes are not in my hand writing.  There is no name on them, and I have no memory of anyone else who was working at the radio station during that time.  I do not know how these notes got to me, but they have.  I will read these notes to you as they are written:

Talked to a Shiny wizard today about the explosions down Main Street.  He doesn’t seem to think they were explosions, just like I do.  Even said there were some dragons that were woken by people in this town. The littler dragons that have invaded the town make me want to believe him. 

More digging has turned up a whisper of something.  A group of townsfolk, the ‘old guard’ if you will, that don’t seem too keen on some of these new ‘travelers’ in town.  An organized group?  A cult?  A mob?  Or just people with a power fantasy and too little time?
