❝  ...  ❞  head  swivels  to  and  fro  —  as  if  attempting  to  survey  the  DAMAGE.  something  seems  to  emit  a  festive  little  jingle  from  the  movement,  though  the  wanderer's  attempts  to  discern  WHAT  only  serve  to  rattle  the  blasted  thing  around  all  the  more.  he  doesn't  make  much  of  an  effort  to  involve  himself  with  mortal  holidays;  after  so  many  centuries  of  existence,  they  all  become  a  bit  bland.  (  an  indecipherable  blur  of  excuses  to  drink  and  be  merry.  )  perhaps  this  is  meant  to  be  some  form  of  PUNISHMENT,  whether  at  tem's  behest  or  simply  fate  itself,  for  being  such  a  miserable  killjoy  year  after  year  after  year.  assuming  that  is  the  case,  ren  can  only  imagine  he  has  all  the  more  reason  to  DETEST  IT.  

a  heavy  sigh  escapes  the  wanderer's  lips  —  purely  performative,  as  most  things  are.  carefully  (  as  to  not  break  any  of  the  absurd  little  trinkets  )  he  extracts  the  kasa  from  his  head.  nose  wrinkles  slightly  as  he's  finally,  finally  able  to  get  a  good  look  at  what's  been  done  to  his  beloved  hat. talk about a yuletide tragedy ...
