Sol is wearing a small reindeer headband ( and bells! ) as she skips over to her classmate. "H-happy Decembermas!" Giving the other a cookie, she leans up to kiss Jun's cheek, giggling before skipping away with the sound of jingling bells. Time to spread more cheer!

The tinkling of christmas bells draws Jun’s attention away from his phone. An eyebrow gently arches as he watches Solange approach him (he didn’t have his glasses, so everything was a bit… blurry) and Jun’s pretty sure she’s the one making the cute, whimsical noise.

He gingerly takes the cookie from her hands, small smile lighting up his face as he realizes it’s his favorite - but before Jun can even thank her, she’s kissed his cheek and is moving on.

Pressing a cold hand against the now blushing cheek, Jun laughed to himself.

“Merry Decermbermas to you too, Sol~”

Heart pounding in his throat, Jun jackknifes out of his bed - feet landing solidly among the many scattered articles of clothing in his room. He’s so disoriented by the familiar nightmare - his mother’s distorted face through the water as she holds him beneath, his father’s laugh echoing in his ears despite his absence - that he merely stands unmoving in the dark room, breathing ragged. 

It isn’t until a pair of soft, gentle hands wrap around his torso that Jun remembers Solange had spent the night. They’d fallen asleep watching silly romantic comedies, cuddled up beneath the makeshift blanket fort he’d tossed together in hopes to lighten his friend’s mood. 

“I-It’s okay, Jun, I’m here.”

The quiet words bring a flood of tears from deep within Jun - he can feel where they normally lurk, far beneath the surface. He doesn’t turn to face, her fists clenched at his side as the tears continue to fall.

“T-Thanks Sol. J-Just give me a sec, okay?”

A gentle tug was given to his sleeve. Sol was wearing one of Katsu's shirts, her scarf covering her neck and mouth. "C-can we cuddle please...?" The words were barely audible and muffled behind the fabric, the girl glancing down at her socked feet. She hasn't been feeling well lately and didn't want to be alone at the moment.

The small, almost soft tug on his sleeve pulls Jun’s attention from the reruns of Mythbusters he’d been absorbed with watching. What were the chances they’d replay all of the first four season in chronological order? He’d already missed a days worth of classes. 

He realizes immediately that something is bothering Sol - and even as she’s asking to cuddle, Jun’s already pulling her down beside him, tucking her head against his chest with content sigh. Jun understands better than most that sometimes words just aren’t enough - and a good cuddling session with a nap after will more than convey that he’s here for Solange, no matter what. 

“This episode is about whether or not an arrow can actually be split down the middle with another arrow. They’re about to test it right now.”

She approaches the male quietly, holding something behind her back. It wasn't much or anything, but still. She wanted to try and give him something. "J-Jun-san! U-Um... it's your birthday, right? S-so! H-here. I-I hope you like it." She gives hands over a small plate with a chocolate cupcake on it, with extra thick chocolate frosting on top. "H-Happy Birthday! A-and um. Here's one for your sister, too." She handed him a small brown bag that held another cupcake inside of it.

Jun’s so busy shaking his stupid cell phone in an attempt to get it to work - he was missing all those great memes that Takashi was posting, and Jun had no idea where to get them besides the rabbit - that he didn’t even realize someone had approached him. 

He gave a brief start, but then breaks out in a big smile when he sees Solange and what she’s carrying.

“Aw, what!! You really didn’t have to do anything like this, Sol!!” He’s obviously touched by her gesture, his cheeks getting red more she spoke, “You’re seriously an angel!!”

His smiled dips a little when she mentions his sister - but then her words hit him, and Jun’s barely choking back tears. He pulls Solange in for a tight hug, pressing the side of his cheek against her soft hair. 

“You’re seriously the best, Sol…”

💕 How easily do they fall in love?

Not easily at all. Instant attraction, sure. A sense of bonding? Yeah! But it takes a lot for him to feel anything so deep as love. For a long time, Jun wasn’t sure he’d ever be able to give/receive love himself. He was scared of trusting others and forming relationships because what’s so good about him? But once he falls in love? It’s all or nothing. Jun wants to make a connection, and once he does there’s no getting rid of him!

💖 How do they say ‘I love you’ without really saying it? 

Touching! Jun’s very uncomfortable when even casually touching strangers or acquaintances - bumping into them, brushing hands, etc - it’s all very jarring for him.  But if he cares for you,  he’ll feel perfectly comfortable coming in contact with you. To him, that’s essentially saying i trust you. He’ll also share his candy with you! Well, he won’t sulk as much. Another big thing is if he can sleep around you. Jun has a lot of trouble sleeping - if it isn’t night terrors, it’s dream induced anxiety attacks - so he usually can only sleep completely alone behind a locked door. If Jun can fall asleep completely with you in the room, that’s a huge sign of his feelings.

🌹 What is their idea of a perfect date? 

Jun’s never been on a date! But when he thinks about it, he’d love to go someplace fun like an amusement park! They could play games, goof around, and make fun memories. Since Jun’s a bit of a softie, he’d love to take a walk through a forest or someplace quiet so he and his date could talk and get to know each other - but he’s way too embarrassed to admit something like that.

💟 What is their stance on PDA?

Jun!! loves!! affection!! Platonic affection is a absolute yes from this candy-loving kid. He loves holding hands, hugging, picking up, etc. If you’re like family to Jun, he’s pretty much attached to you. He loves romantic PDA as well - he’s very out about his sexuality and does nothing to hide it if he’s dating someone. He’ll be pretty clingy actually, wanting to hold hands or link arms. He’ll scoot closer when sitting together, and will generally just gravitate near his s/o unconsciously. 

💗 What advice would they give a potential partner about making their relationship last if they could with no judgment?

Be patient. Jun has a lot of emotional baggage from his childhood. It’s very hard for him to trust in someone and believe that they will not hurt or betray him. He goes through bouts where he believes he’s nothing more than a mistake and happiness is just beyond him. At times like that, he just needs someone to talk to…someone to remind him who he is. Someone capable of holding him at his worst, and supporting him at his best.
