If you asked Ruby what the best part of parties and especially dances were, she’d answer ‘the people watching’. She loved seeing how much work her friends and people she didn’t know that well put in their outfits or costumes. And this year’s morp wasn’t an exception. She’d chosen the horror and gore over the glamour this year, and wasn’t regretting it one minute. As another person in an exceptional costume was passing by, Ruby couldn’t resist the urge of walking up to them. “Excuse me, can I just say that I love what you’re wearing tonight? I’m so impressed by your style! Did you put this together by yourself?” She hoped she wasn’t asking too many questions, but she felt like the person in front of her deserved the praise.
