“  drayden,  just  the  man  i  wanted  to  see  tonight!  come  in,  come  in;  maybe  you  can  fix  this  damn  television  for  me,  huh?  “          stanley’s  not  exactly  a  technophobe.  if  it  works  perfectly,  he’s  fine!  but  the  kids  were  playing  mario  kart,  and  he  came  in  to  watch  a  movie  just  as  they  were  leaving,  and  now...  well.  now  he’s  got  a  black  screen  and  some  strange  clock  counting  upwards  for  the  last  four  minutes,  eighteen  seconds.  nineteen.  twenty...  needless  to  say,  drayden’s  timely  arrival  is  the  greatest  gift  he  could  ask  for  this  year.  scooting  over  on  the  sofa,  he  raises  up  the  assortment  of  television  remotes  for  the  younger  man  to  take,  and  points  at  the  screen  again  with  a  helpless,  bewildered  sigh.          “  i  swear,  i  came  in  and  i  pressed  the  input  button,  and  i  went  to  channel  five,  and  then  it  just  went  blank!  if  you  can’t  fix  it,  it’s  fine,  but...  maybe  you  could  spare  an  old  man  the  effort  and  go  fetch  andrew?  he’s  in  the  kitchen,  henri  is  trying  to  get  him  to  polish  the  cutlery,  can  you  imagine?  or  you  can  save  yourself  and  sit  and  keep  an  old  man  company.  whichever  you  prefer,  son.  “
