This was... Really one of the few times Knuckles went to MaHa Ichiban on his own accord, and he was definitely surprised when the automatic door simply wouldn’t move. He did notice that Maha and Dekao where there, and thus he’d knocked on the window.

He simply nodded as he went inside, however...

... He didn’t take a seat. Somehow, he felt that something was going on. Something beyond MaHa Ichiban being oddly quiet.

And he was right.

It was already pretty odd to him that Dingo was nowhere to be seen, so instead of asking questions, he stayed quiet and listened to Maha as he explained the situation, his eyes widening as soon as he was told that Dingo had gone missing.

“Wait, what!?”

Although he hated to admit it, he was definitely worried now. He might not get along with Dingo that well yet, but that didn’t seem to stop him from worrying.

It was tempting to leave and pretend not to care about him, but he just couldn’t do that. He didn’t have it in him. That would have been absolutely terrible of him to do. Thus, he decided to agree with Maha’s offer. Perhaps he would find something there that would lead to Dingo’s whereabouts...

{✱};— Crash wasn’t sure to expect out of the new year. It had only start and something unexpected happened; Elecman kissed him. It happened so fast and was so sudden that it completely caught the orange Navi off guard.

He was of course happy that it happened but he was so caught off guard that he didn’t know to properly react. He mumbled some jibberish as his face turned completely red.

<”Ah … ki-kiss …. me … E-E-E-E-Elec?”> It was all to much for him. He had started to glitch. Oops.

Somehow, Elec had finally mustered the courage to kiss Crash, which he was proud of himself for... Until he noticed that Crash had started glitching. He gently placed his hands on their shoulders, not even caring that he’d start to glitch a bit himself.

{ “... Crash? A-are you okay? Did I-- Did I do something wrong?” } He asked softly as a feeling of guilt washed over him. It seemed like he thought he’d messed up.

Circuit decided to spend this New Year’s Eve with their beloved girlfriend instead of their family. While they felt bad for leaving their family behind like that, they really wanted to be with Amy this time. It was quite the special day, after all.

They’d decided to watch the fireworks together, and Circuit had their arm wrapped around Amy’s waist as they sat there. At this point, they were so lost in the fireworks that they hadn’t seen the kiss coming. Still, that didn’t stop them from kissing back while it lasted.

While they didn’t want it to end, it had to at some point. So they decided to gently break the kiss before saying the following words softly...

“Happy new year, my love.”
