oh OH hunger demons have the power of draining. lifeforce + mana. with all the feeding off the anchor and consuming while possessing pax, it is much MUCH more powerful than the typical hunger demon. it can - say - pull and eat another demon ( or spirit ) from a host or the host’s soul and the possessing entity, if given enough time or it has the right motivation

#❪ ⋅ ✹ ⋆ —┊ ❛ ooc. ❜ ❫#❪ ⋅ ✹ ⋆ —┊ ❛ study. ❜ ❫#❪ ⋅ ✹ ⋆ —┊ ❛ v. what yet lingers [dragon age] ❜ ❫#( like a dementor )#( i really need to leave pax alone ahhhh but the HORROR )#( the OBSESSION )#( the whole of dai was really allowing hunger to become a much MUCH bigger problem that’d bite them in the ass down the road )#( im not saying it starts forcing mercy out of pax and begins to munch on it but im exactly saying that )#( which leaves pax to die or he has to accept hunger back )#( but if pax dies he wouldn’t be able to save the host hunger is currently possessing )#( and honestly pax would try to save mercy too )#( but forcing mercy out means twisting it against its purpose [turning it into a demon of ruthlessness] )#( so hm. this would be one of those things where rook or whoever else went looking for pax would have to make a call in a very limited #amount of time )#( of which the decision might turn mercy into a demon within pax anyway )
