tell you to let them come. because he might not have the words, but he's strong, and he's strong enough for the both of you, if you need him to be. he'll carry you wherever you need to go, keep the lights on all night if you're too afraid to turn them off. he'll fight every monster that comes your way, real or imagined. he'll listen if you need to talk, to yell, to scream. and he'll sit with you if you don't.

because it's the only way he knows how to love, after all. hard, and fast and terrifyingly reckless. but that's how he loves you, and even on the worst days, you know, in your heart of hearts, that you wouldn't have it any other way.
