It was one thing to have Spencer perched on his lap, but it was another to have that big, beautiful word brought to his attention again. Hearing it warm and honeyed on their tongue kicked his heart into overdrive and made his skin heat through, but there was the smallest hiccup.

"Wait, ain't that a bad thing?" He was old, older than most would think thanks to his youthful appearance and attitude, and knew just enough about the human world that some terms were vaguely familiar. "What d'ya call it when both people are really freakin' excited 'bout it?"
