I’m real sad about Exos you guys.

Their actual original history of being born from the Deep Stone Crypt (which was SO COOL) , gaining humanity from an error, a flawed code, or a purposeful action by Rasputin; has been completely overwritten by the boring “they were humans turned into robots and humans who wanted to live forever” and man that’s just. So human. Why can’t we have proper alien beings?

I’m here for compromise, for pretending some being inhuman and some being former human but everyone seems to have forgotten the original Exos lore in favor of a more human-centric alternative.
