yo yo yo. this is your MIDWEEK UPDATE and man, do we have some lit stuff to cover.

I. Back by ( what we hope is ) popular demand, infiniteannihilation will be bringing back our third annual twelve days of christmas holiday event !! As always, it’ll be twelve days of fun, prompts and lighthearted events that aren’t mandatory but always a good time. This year, we will start on MONDAY, DECEMBER 10TH and run until FRIDAY, DECEMBER 21ST. Mark your calendars, kiddos, and get ready for the prompts which will be released in the next few days.

II. THE GIFTED had it’s midseason finale, so all Gifted bios will be updated to reflect where the show is. The events are canon and there may be spoilers, so watch out. 

III. THE RUNAWAYS season two airs on december 21st ( it’s really gonna be a great day, huh? ) so we’ll be updating the bios in the week after.

IV. To continue on the bio thread, I’m still in the process of updating our bios to fit current canon and it’s taking me FOREVER due to the amount, but the process is ongoing. Pray for me, fam.

V. SUPER IMPORTANT UPDATE: Lose a character to ash? Miss that character? Well, have we got news for you. From now until December 9th, you have the option to bring back ( 1 ) character that was turned to ash as long as they were not canon ( i.e. explicitly turned to ash in a marvel movie ). Just shoot us a quick message and we’ll post who all is coming back. This is a retcon, so it will not have much on them being ash and instead we’ll come up with a story for why they were absent.

VI. You’ll be noticing a post I’m about to make about a little thing we’ll be doing during the tdcom event. Holidays && finals are a busy season, so during the event we’ll be doing appless to share the spirit and bring some new members in. As mentioned, a post will be made but this is your heads up.

VII. Guess what time it is?? Almost SPIDER-VERSE time !! That’s right. Spider-verse comes out December 14th and it will be canon in our group. As someone who’s seen the first half hour lemme tell you it’s good. Real good. Go out, show Miles some love and get ready for that to be integrated.

VIII. The theme rule is still in effect. That means if your blog doesn’t have a theme, it needs one. Doesn’t have to be complicated && it can be simple but as a group overall we’d like to be a little uniformed to the extent that we do have some basic elements such as good grammar && themes. We’ll be following up on this soon

IX. Mods !! You know Admin Quinn && myself as the respective promo / bio mods, but we’d like to welcome ADMIN JAY to the team as a new promo mod !! Don’t worry, Admin Brinna is still here but shifting into an event mod. Yeah, we got mods on mods. Expanding our team, however, is something we’re happy to do in order to bring y’all the best group possible.

“Seb?” There’s a wobble in Fiadh’s voice that’s never been there before. Not even when she was forced to tell him about that night in McGowans. She closes her eyes while she waits for his response and sees snatches of what happened again. Psychedelic lighting, bass pounding underfoot and rattling her bones, warm beer in her hand, that man’s arm around her shoulders, then his body on the floor. He’d been a friend of Mickey’s, she remembers. Her cousin Mickey, who’s standing in front of her, holding the phone beneath her chin so she can speak to Sebastian.

Cable ties are cutting into her wrists, fastening her hands tight ( shoulders pulled taut ) behind the chair she’s sitting on. The sensation in her fingers comes and goes. It’s such a TV cop show position to be in that she’d laughed when he’d first manhandled her into it and told him so … And that’s why, now, she’s got a swollen lip, which doesn’t exactly make it easy for her to read from his fucking script.

He gives her a nod, though, to tell her to keep going, so she swallows and continues, “Since you didn’t seem to think his first message was serious, Mickey wanted me to speak to you, so you could hear from my own lips what he’ll have his men do to me if you don’t give him what he wants.” Her eyes slide sideways over the piece of paper, taking in the threats that are printed there in black and white, and her chest seizes with panic. She starts choking. “If you don’t give him what he wants, he’s going to tell them to- going to let them- going to- to- to- to—”

Tears leak out of her eyes, which are wide with fear, and slide down her cheeks. Mickey’s free hand closes round her throat. That, combined with how hot the room is—there’s a fire going in the grate, with a poker stuck amongst the coals—makes her head swim.

“What are they going to do, Fiadh? Tell him, tell him what’s going to happen to you if he does not comply.”

But she manages to shake her head minutely and croak into the speaker, “Please, Seb. You don’t want to know. Just find me before they do it. Please, please, baby- find me.”
