thinking about how stands represent their user's mental state bc what does it mean for moody blues to not have a mouth ... love overthinking stands and their meanings esp with abbacchio since i like to think about how it represents all the things still left unspoken between him and his partner. overall, it's clear moody blues already heavily represents abbacchio's intense desire to redo all that has happened regarding being a police officer. realistically, if he could redo it, he wouldn't have pursued that career. but, also, he wouldn't have ended up in passione and working with much more like minded people that he's comfortable around. it's a slippery slope. i feel like there has to be something there regarding it's eyes, too. and how they're oddly obscured. something about him maybe feigning ignorance? or perhaps being blinded by his ideals? i can't quite figure it out. i think his stand has a lot of subtle things that better explain his mentality since this man is an emotional brick wall that you have to break down with a sledgehammer, yet does crave that connection to be close and express what's been bothering him. it's just hard when you come from a repressive family and try to express your feelings
