Having believed he had committed suicide because he needed an out of the world. It hadn’t happened that way, and Linnéa was aware of it. She knew Rosie had only meant to help, but it had only left the goth girl more frustrated. ❝ It wasn’t the BULLYING that caused him to kill himself because he DIDN’T kill himself. ❞ He had promised he wouldn’t leave her behind, he had PROMISED. ❝ Someone must have forced him to kill himself, or I-I- I don’t know. But he wouldn’t just leave me behind, he wouldn’t just ❞ Words failed, leaving the raven-haired girl weak and uncertain. It hurt. The memory of him hurt.

Shivering, her bottom lip started to tremble. The aftermath of having almost been drowned by some losers at her school. Linnéa knew that they hated her guts, they always had. They didn’t like that she was so abnormal in comparison to the rest of her classmates, that she was so goddamn weird in their opinion. But she also knew that something larger was the cause of this, something otherworldly. Because no way in hell did these boys have the balls to commit such a crime without somebody partaking in the scheming.
Her gaze fleeted upon the others’, almost looking uncertain at them. After having been saved from drowning by a stranger, most people would probably consider thanking them afterwards. However, those weren’t the words whispered from Linnéa’s chapped lips.
❝ P-p-please, d-don’t tell, ❞ she stammered out, hating how desperate her voice sounded.
