I’ve been feeling self-conscious as of late but is everyone okay with me being iconless? I mean, I already put on my pinned post that I’ll be iconless and as much as I really wanna make icons for Janna, I don’t think I’ve got the time and energy to make all of them. I’m planning to make them when inspiration and energy strikes, but eh I’m just feeling unmotivated as of late.

Also, I found the majority of the icon border templates too small for me, as personally I don’t like my icons appear small on threads/interactions. Probably gonna make them plain standard 100 x 100 without the fancy icon border and all.

So yeah, I’m worried that people might be less inclined to follow me because I don’t have a fancy icon border, but I can run my blog the way I want it. I’ve got Photopea access but I find icon making taking up so much time for me.

So, it’s pretty obvious to everyone that I haven’t really been here lately. Life happens, and things changed, and I have had to come to the difficult conclusion that… my interests have changed.

Up until now, I have spent my time on this blog using icons, writing extensively, using the queue system, using a complicated tagging system, using a thread tracker, and trying desperately to keep up with every single one of my interactions. And although the writing and creating stories alongside you all has been an amazing experience, I have to take a step back, at least from the way I was doing things before.

Let me make one thing clear: I am not leaving Tumblr. I may or may not move blogs, but at this point, I’m not leaving.

However, I have decided to become a low activity, iconless, casual roleplayer. What does this mean? Well, I’m not going to have a thread tracker anymore, nor am I going to use icons. I’m not going to write in small text — or do any formatting at all, really. I’m going to start and drop threads as I wish. I’m going to answer memes at my own discretion. I’m going to only answer IMs if they don’t make me anxious. I’m going to use muses that I want to use, when I want to use them. I’m going to write with the people that I want to write with, and the people that want to write with me. I’m finally going to prioritize my own needs.

I understand that this may sound harsh. I understand that this may sound selfish. But one thing that I’ve had to learn and accept lately is that there’s a fine line between selfishness and self-care. Putting yourself first is not selfish; it’s necessary.

And if people don’t want to write with me because of this, that’s okay. And that’s something that I have to accept.

My muse list is going to become fluid, meaning that I will have a list of muses that I will write, but I will focus on the muses that I want to focus on at any given period in time. My tagging system will change; I will start to tag things much more simply. OOC posts will simply be tagged “ooc.” IC posts will simply be tagged with the muse’s name; for example, if I was writing a reply from John Kramer, it would be tagged as “john kramer,” and so on and so forth.

I hope these changes aren’t too drastic. If they are and you no longer wish to write with me, I wish you the absolute best, and I completely understand. I truly do love each and every one of you, and I’d like to personally thank you all for being a part of this amazing journey so far. And although my interests have changed, as of right now, I will still be here. You know where to find me! ❤️

hi friends, good afternoon! it’s barely 60 today which means I’m breaking out my fuzzy shoes for my errands this afternoon. i’ll be working on this blog this weekend. i’m starting to feel a little overwhelmed because I keep trying to update things and then it doesn’t look right. then I consider going iconless because I have so many muses but I can never make the text look semi fancy or nice to go without icons. I don’t wanna drop any muses because even if just one or two write with them I don’t wanna let folks down even if my muse fully isn’t there.. 😔

thought of bringing up my unpopular opinion here.

the icon borders are too small for me if everything’s below 100x100 and every time i looked through templates, i was baffled at how there are tons of icon borders that have 30x30 px and i just really found it too small for me. anyone can feel free to write with me and use some icons while i can go iconless. i’m totes okay with it.

after my last eye checkup, i have a mild astigmatism on my right eye and i was like okay it’s fine because there’s isn’t much difference on my eyesight for my left eye. i can still see and i was given a mild prescription but i didn’t so i’m taking eye supplements instead.

anyway, i could’ve used gif resources for anna, but unfortunately it takes me a few minutes to browse through her correct expression every time i write with gifs. i could make some plain and standard 100x100 icons too through photopea but i’m not sure just yet. 🤷‍♀️

Lily was born in a small town. Shortly after her birth her mother took off leaving her with her aunt, Jolene. She raised her like she was her own. She was really all Lily knew. Just her and Aunt Jo. Her life wasn’t lavish. The two lived in a nice trailer park on the edge of town. Lily never complained though. She was happy. She spent her free time writing and going to ballet classes after school. Her mom would come in now and then trying to be a “mom” but always failed and ended up taken off again.

Growing up she wanted to be a journalist. The girl was always going around investigating things that happened around the small town. She planned to go to college to be an investigative journalist but the summer before college, her aunt got sick and couldn’t work. Lily made the choice to wait on collage and stay home to take care of Jolene since she had raised her from the time she was born. She felt she owed her that.

Lily got a job at the local motel as a housekeeper and front desk assistant. She liked her job and she enjoyed meeting new people. She works full time, while taking a few night classes at the community college. Sometime things get hard for Lily but she tries to stay positive.

This blog runs completely iconlessly and I would prefer threads to be like that completely due to severe OCD. I also don't like feeling like I should be using icons when I don't actually want to on a particular blog. I do have blogs where I both want to and enjoy it. I'm iconless on this blog because the resources do not exist for everything I am open to or want Yuri to do and I don't want to use fan art, so this is the best path.

Do not try to control my character. It’s very irritating when someone tries to kill Yuri off without my permission.

Do not goddmod, or any type of auto’s. I do want a choice in the situation or I’ll start doing it to you and see how you like it.

Please be literate or semi-literate. I understand that people make typos or have disabilities where they can’t type well. I have autism so I know that feel. Yuri and Repede come as a package deal most of the time, unless you specifically prefer otherwise for some reason. They are pretty much an inseparable duo act. My only canon divergence is that instead of simply being a member of Brave Vesperia, Yuri is co-leader of Brave Vesperia alongside Karol.

GENERAL: SELECTIVE AND PRIVATE. this means i’m particular about who i follow and i will only write with mutuals. my blog is semi-iconless (depending on the muse/if i feel like making icons or not). NOT SPOILER FREE. NO GODMODDING, metagaming, etc. EXCLUSIVITY IS RARE but not unheard of so you can find my mains/exclusives list here 

WRITING: I USE PRIMARILY THIRD PERSON PAST OR PRESENT TENSE. i'm not entirely comfortable roleplaying in first or second person (yet). when it comes to verb tense, i'll often check to see what my partner is most comfortable using and go with that. i can do one-liners or multipara threads, but longer things will likely take a bit more time.

SHIPPING: I SHIP CHEMISTRY, and i do not force ships because i’m not a monster. i definitely enjoy a good romance, but platonic and queerplatonic dynamics, rivalries, etc. are just as interesting to explore! i am unlikely to ship romantically with more than two portrayals of a canon muse, so as to ensure things don't get stale for me or my partners.

FOLLOWING/UNFOLLOWING: IF I FOLLOW YOU, IT MEANS I LIKE WHAT YOU HAVE GOIN' ON AND WOULD LOVE TO INTERACT. it doesn't have to happen immediately, just down the line! i'll give most folks at least a week to follow back (thus indicating mutual interest in writing together at some point) before unfollowing. but if i really enjoy your blog/portrayal, i may stick around as a passive follower so long as i am welcome!

1. Basics

Hi! This blog is a sideblog to @aeviare! So all follows/follow backs will be from that blog.

My name is Tiff! 25+! My pronouns are she/her. I’ve been rping on Tumblr since 2012! I have a full time job && a small business, so my activity may be spotty at best. I come and go as I please because roleplaying to me is only a hobby! 

Because we don't have the full story of Luocha, a lot of lore and things will be headcanon based. I will probably evolve as more comes out-- maybe.

2. Writing Specifics!

At this time I'll be focusing more on those within the H:SR and Genshin fandoms. Luocha is a new muse for me so I'm still figuring out his voice! Since this blog is still new, I'll be starting off iconless. As time progresses, I'll be making some icons, but I don't have the time or energy at the moment to do them. My writing lengths vary from short, to paras, to sometimes novellas. There's never a requirement to match my length.

Because Tumblr hates its userbase, I'll be writing strictly with Beta Editor and xKit Reworked's Trim Reblogs.

3. Etiquette!

Basic etiquette is expected for writing with me. Meaning, please don't godmod! I will never write your muse for you, I'd appreciate the same respect.

As for drama or callouts, please don't drag me into things that have nothing to do with me. Do not police me in who I can or cannot speak to. I'm an adult, I can make my own decisions. If there's an issue with a person and you're concerned for my wellbeing, please address it with me in DMs.

4. Shipping!

I am a multi-ship whore! Although, for Luocha, I prefer speaking OOC and plotting, as I am still figuring out his character. Please do not force ship me into anything.

My main ship with him at this moment is with Blade (is this based completely off of their team comp synergy? yes.. and also because Blade is daddified beta red Xiao and Luocha is Aether if he looked his age, I said what I said.) But I am very open to exploring different types of relationships with most of the H:SR characters.
