ᴡᴀɴᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴡʀɪᴛᴇ (ᴀɴᴅ ᴡʜʏ ʏᴏᴜ ʜᴀᴠᴇɴ'ᴛ ʏᴇᴛ)

Archangel Gabriel (2007 movie Gabriel) - His actor died tragically at a very young age. I thought his performance was amazing and I wouldn't want to use any other FC, but at the same time, I just feel it's inappropriate to use images of him, out of respect for his family. I actually had an OC that I used him for and have since changed to another actor because I felt uncomfortable using his images going forward.

Alice Abernathy (Resident Evil, Anderson films) - As much as I adore her, I don't feel I understand her well enough nor could I get her "voice" down well enough to write her to my own standards.

Fran (Final Fantasy XII) - I'm not sure I could write her well enough, but also she's in a totally different circle of characters than all my other FFXII muses, so she'd feel a bit isolated and extraneous if I added her to that blog. Also, she's kindof joined at the hip to Balthier, whom I know I could never write properly in a million years, heh.

Eyal Lavine (TV show Current Affairs) - I've wanted to write him for years now, but with certain things going on in the news, writing an Israeli Mossad agent just isn't the best thing to do right now, I feel. I would constantly worry about offending people or being dragged into political conversations relevant to real world events that I really don't want to get into on my blogs.

Yuna (Final Fantasy X) - To bring her to this site would be an impossible amount of new added activity for me. The FFX fandom is a lot larger than FFXII and I'd be afraid of too much activity or even those with muses from other FF games wanting to write with her. I just can't add a popular character right now. if anything, I need to be downsizing, heh.

The town of Silent Hill (Silent Hill game franchise, 2006 movie Silent Hill, 2012 movie Silent Hill: Revelation) - It's just too complicated and would require too much startup time and effort for me to manage right now. But I am keeping it in mind for the future!

ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴡʀɪᴛᴛᴇɴ ʙᴇғᴏʀᴇ, ᴡᴏᴜʟᴅ ɴᴏᴛ ᴡʀɪᴛᴇ ��ɢᴀɪɴ (ᴀɴᴅ ᴡʜʏ)

Ned Stark (ASoIaF book series / GoT TV show) - Ned only survived Season 1 (actually, technically, he didn't even survive that). So much happened in subsequent Seasons, and now we've got HotD too. I stopped reading after the third book and stopped watching after the third Season, so... I'm way behind on the world, the lore, the characters, the countries, the Houses, etc. I wouldn't feel that I'm coming from enough of a place of knowledge to write Ned, even though I really adore him and would love to. And someone like him, who was in positions of power, would have that knowledge, he'd know about the major and minor Houses and the politics and the history, etc., so it would affect my portrayal of him to not know all of that myself.

Ygritte (ASoIaF book series / GoT TV show) - Kindof the same problem as Ned, although Ygritte survived a bit longer... but also I'm just not sure how relevant she'd be to most characters other people in the fandom would write. As a wildling, she was somewhat isolated from much of the plot and other characters of the world. Also, I'm afraid of Jon Snows everywhere just wanting to ship with her, heh, since I really hated that ship, personally.

The White Queen (Resident Evil, Anderson films) - Her FC is a child, and as much as I liked the character, the way I developed her was to add an OC origin muse for her that used the same actress as an FC. After a certain point, I just felt like I was doing something wrong by using a child FC and didn't feel comfortable doing it anymore.

ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴡʀɪᴛᴛᴇɴ ʙᴇғᴏʀᴇ, ᴡᴏᴜʟᴅ ᴡʀɪᴛᴇ ᴀɢᴀɪɴ (ᴀɴᴅ ᴡʜʏ)

Luther West (Resident Evil, Anderson films) - I liked Luther, he was pretty cool, and since I write a lot of other RE muses, he'd fit right in. The only reason I stopped writing him was because hardly anyone was interested in him, so it became too much to keep maintaining his blog if no one wanted to write with him.

The Creature (2004 mini-series Frankenstein) - I've always liked Adam, I read the original Frankenstein by Mary Shelley and I've seen various movies and mini-series on the subject. I like this specific version because the actor who played him is a favorite of mine, but also it was fairly faithful to the book as well. The reason I stopped was because I felt I wasn't writing him up to my own standards, but I'd be willing to give it another try.

Rule one

That being said I will reply when I feel like. I will always tell you if I need to drop a thread, if I take long it doesn’t mean I’ve dropped it. If you need to drop it because I’m taking too long, let me know. I promise not to be mad.

Rule Three

I will not RP with anyone under the age of 18, even if the thread has no smut. I’m sorry, but no. This is an adult oriented blog. Heavy themes, along with smut, will be regularly posted in rp formal and/or in images.

Rule Four

I will not RP with anime/cartoon/game FC’s (There are exceptions like RE8 chars). I will also not RP with any deceased FC’s

Rule Five

As awesome as it would be to be bilingual, I only speak and know English. Anything you see me post that is not English was brought to you by Google Translate.

Rule Six

I do not have a verse page, but that doesn’t mean I’m not open to AU’s. I LOVE AU’s. I’m a multi-ship multi-post blog and am trash for any and all AU’s. Just ask!

Rule Seven

I can write a lot in my replies (And a lot of it can be unnecessary detail) but don't feel pressured to match my length! Just, please, try to give me something more than two sentences to work with. I don't typically enjoy writing short replies, but I understand muses can be fickle things.

Rule Eight

I don't enjoy pregnancy threads or writing children so I, typically, will steer clear of those types of threads. If our muses have been in a long relationship (and we have been writing partners for a while as well) I may make an exception, but don't come in expecting babies. My girls all have IUD's unless stated otherwise. That being said I am 100% down with the breeding kink.

Rule Nine

If a muse has (unknown) somewhere in their age it means they are old old. Like 100+, so age can be changed if you are uncomfortable with age gap.

Rule Ten

I have a handful of chronic issues that effect my sleep and my mood so I'm up all hours of the day. I live in EST time zone, but I'm often up at 4AM so.....it's a gamble lol!

Rule Eleven

I have SEVERE ANXIETY and struggle messaging new people. IF I FOLLOWED YOU I WANT TO RP WITH YOU! I'm probably just figuring out how to message you without puking lol. I would appreciate the help, if you want, or you can wait until I gather the enrve.

Rule Twelve

My grammar isn't the best in the galaxy, ok? I over use comma's and never really figured out the semi-colon. If something is horribly wrong or you can't understand what I've written, just ask please.

Updated GW to-do list: - Division of labour (we should really start saying when one of us starts working on something because otherwise we'll end up with redundancies since we think disturbingly alike) - the "chuck" problem: okay, tbh, it's more of an Ed Westwick problem than a chuck one. I don't know how you guys have reacted to the me too and time's up movements, but mine has been to cut all those men out of my sphere of entertainment, I even cut out "witch hunt", "not all men" type dudes, and "only fondled their breasts on tv and apologized for it" men (aka Ben Affleck), because time is up for all of you! Soz, not point, but since last October, Ed Westwick has been caught up in this, and thus far 3 women have accused him of ra.pe and a fourth of sexual misconduct. Now, I know it's not Chuck's fault that his portrayer is a ra.pist (allegedly), but there is still an issue with including his face, etc in aesthetics and gossip girl material because his face is that of a ra.pist's (allegedly). Tbh, I wanna leave him (Ed Westwick) out of material and only discuss Chuck and avoid showing his face or use a dreamcast instead, but like, I dunno what you guys wanna do. Chuck is a great character, although, early on, he was quite rap.ey, the character, and it does not help that his portrayer has since been revealed to be a ra.pist. Allegedly.

- also, going back up to the redundancy issues, I love both of your aesthetic collections and playlists, so for those, I was thinking for playlist, we should make one big playlist on spotify that's collaborative, so that everyone can add their music and it'll kind of be a huge explosion of musical tastes. But also, maybe have a collection that has a link on the group info for individual playlists for characters, and the group made by us and/or others. For aesthetic collections, basically the same idea with one big collaborative collection, and then that collection will have links to other collections (yes, I'm a little ocd).

- also, also, this is completely unrelated, but I was watching trevor noah's show and he made a joke about how much trump's male employees snitch and gossip like sht, but the woman haven't revealed squat. (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CpmlVWFTW8A) It's really funny, and honestly, stupid people fcking up in trump's circle very publically is basically what's keeping me alive. It's just hilarious how stupid some of these people are. ___________________________ Another Update (I'll leave those up until @maybones weighs in on them)

I was working on a draft of the group description to show you guys, and I was using a template of one of my old groups and rewriting stuff and changing it to suit our purposes and I realized how many freaking rules I have (I'm so picky), anyway, some of this stuff obvs won't be applicable (like, there's one about characters dying and I don't think we were planning on going that dark. although, serena was an accessory and chuck kind of killed his dad, so meh, maybe?) anyway, I wanted your opinions on what rules to keep and/or change:

✠ RULES AND GUIDELINES {GENERAL} ✠

I. Please be kind to each other. Your characters can be total jerks, but let us, the creators and/or writers be kind, polite, and respectful (aka, channel your inner Canadian guys). There will be absolutely ZERO tolerance of discrimination. You will be immediately removed from the group, and your actions will be documented and reported. PM me immediately if someone harasses you or you notice harassment between members. ⠀⠀Ia. If you want to be anonymous, for any reason, you can send in your complaints here {https://goo.gl/kbTXeU}, it's a google form, and it doesn't ask you verify your email, and the username option, is just an option, it's not required. If I need to make further contact/information from you regarding your concern, I'll make a group announcement vaguely describing your issue, and you can send in further information anonymously again. I'll be checking the form at least once a week.

⠀II. I'm not giving this any specific rating, however, I will say, you're free to include whatever "adult" content you want, whether it be swears, gore, or the dirty stuff (I'm totally a mature, grown up adult guys). However, do be careful of polyvore's stupid censors, use workarounds like writing your story in google docs, or accents for swear words.

⠀III. This is a non-elimination group, but characters can die. It may be used for inactive members, or if you wanna kill 'em off or maybe revive as a ghost or something else. Permission will always be asked of the creator first (with the exception of characters belonging to inactive members, whose characters may be killed off as penalty).

⠀IV. If you miss 3 consecutive contests (without informing me), you'll receive an "x", "|" will be used to break up non-consecutively missed contests, anyway, if you miss 3 in a row, that will open your character to be killed by either myself or other group members. You will be notified, but your permission will not be asked. If you wish to rejoin at a later date, and you character has not been killed off, simply pm me and continue with whatever contest is in progress. If your character has been killed off, you can re-audition with a new one, and I will transfer your points to your new character.

⠀V. Always pm me, your vodka aunt mod, if you feel you'll be unable to enter a contest, your reason doesn't matter. Just let me know you can't get your entry in, that way you won't receive an "X".

⠀VI. Plotting will be left open throughout the group, however, please establish a few of these before contests begin, and always ask permission when using someone else's character(s) and be sure to tag them in your sets. Please, PLEASE work with others, I hate when people just do their own thing in oc battle groups, this is a collaborative story, everyone's stories and ideas matter. I will call you out if I notice something that contradicts the connected story, and I will always, ALWAYS incorporate the stories of group members into the overall narrative. ⠀⠀VIa. Narrative precedence will always be given to the person who completely finishes the description of their set first.

⠀VII. There is not a list of roles to pick from, you can create whatever roles you want, however, I may ask you to change it if I feel your character may become "villager number 6" and not fit in with the action. Rules, regulations, and suggestions for roles can be found here: [placeholder].

⠀VIII. Always be sure to tag the member's when you use their characters and give credit where credit is due.

⠀IX. Plagiarism will not be tolerated and you will be removed and reported. If you're inspired by someone else's work, credit them, otherwise you're stealing.

⠀X. Sets unrelated to the group will be removed.

⠀XI. You will NOT be required to write out a full story. Story portions can be answered in paragraphs, but full stories are always welcome and appreciated.

✠ RULES AND REGULATIONS {FACECLAIMS} ✠

I'm quite picky about these, but I'm not gonna be pedantic about it this time. You do you. Having said that, there are still some rules and regulations, as well as a challenge.

⠀I. All faceclaims must be above the age of majority (that's 18+ nearly universally on the planet), there is an exception for child characters but all main OCs must be at least 18.

⠀II. All faceclaims MUST be professionals. They can be actors, models, even singers. However, they must be singers of some note signed onto a label company, like Taylor Swift, or my beloved Dima Bilan (who's also an actor. a good one. yes, I'm bragging). Your faceclaim CANNOT be someone insta-famous, youtubers, or tumblr tweens.

⠀III. Whilst I'm not going to reject any faceclaim on the pedantic basis of "I don't like them", there are some faceclaims that I will and for one reason, and one reason only. Sexual misconduct of any and all kinds. Hollywood and the media are finally cleaning house, and I don't want those dicks in my nerd sht either. To be clear, I don't care whether the misconduct was simply groping a woman's breasts on camera and apologizing about 10 years later, I am going to reject everyone who's been accused. Examples include; Ben Affleck, Casey Affleck, Ed Westwick, Jeffrey Tambor, Danny Masterson, Andy Dick, Dustin Hoffman, and fcking Mel Gibson. (Side note, these are just actors, for a wider list of men who have fallen since the Harvey Weinstein story broke in October 2017, I recommend you check out this article {https://goo.gl/Uq65Qv} by the NY Times) ⠀⠀IIIa. If you notice I have accepted someone who has been accused of sexual misconduct/harassment/assault please inform me right away, and ideally with a link to a news source from where you learned about (I will google it myself, but the ready-to-go link would be much appreciated.) ⠀⠀IIIb. this will be a discord-based rp server taking place in victorian era london. you don’t need to have a blog for your character in order to join the server — all roleplaying will be done through discord itself. all sorts of characters are welcome, from canon characters to original creations — the only characters not accepted are real-life historical figures (like jack the ripper, queen victoria, etc). you may join with a character from any class level: we want a healthy mix of characters who are upper class, middle class, working class, or in poverty. you don’t need to be an expert on victorian era society, but please do at least a little research into what jobs your characters might have, to keep things realistic and varied.

While reading the books, Remus Lupin is definitely the character I identified most with. I loved the way that he took on a mentor role in Harry’s life, and it was interesting for me to see him struggle with and cope with the various aspects of the war, such as Dumbledore’s death and the birth of his child. I found myself relating to some of his struggles with control and allowing himself to be happy with Tonks.

I have played as Remus for years, and am very attached to his character due to his similarities to my own personality. I love delving into his personality and behaviors and finding new ways to explore these with my interactions and conversations with other writers and characters!

In general, I like to try and showcase not only the qualities that made me fall in love with Remus’ character, but also some of his negative qualities and the darker aspects that could come to light in the middle of a tense war. In the bio you state that Remus has difficulties with violent outbursts. I imagine that due to his background, he has issues with depression and anxiety, and is quietly struggling with these more and more as the war progresses. I would be interested in playing into this quality, and developing these tendencies and the effect that they might have on his relationships and work.

PREFERRED SHIPS // CHARACTER SEXUALITY // GENDER & PRONOUNS

I prefer to play Remus as bisexual, with he/him pronouns. Remus has an extremely complicated and difficult relationship with the concept of romance and sex, and is closeted with his preferences and usually avoids the topic whenever possible, even with those closest to him. Due to the canon information that we have about Remus’ insecurities and hesitation in his involvement with Tonks in the future, I imagine that he hasn’t had many healthy, happy relationships in the past.

For this reason, I would be against most traditional relationships for Remus without extensive development beforehand, as I imagine anything less would be out of character for him. I would be interested in pursuing other types of potentially less-healthy relationships that would work alongside his canon with the right partner if they were interested!

Personally, I am partial to wolfstar if there is chemistry with the other writer and plenty of development prior to this.

+ Loyal:

Due to his reserved nature, Remus has few that he has allowed close. For the few that have managed to break through his defensive barriers, he is loyal nearly to a fault. Devoted, he feels a debt to those closest to him and will do nearly anything for the few he has come to know as family. His withdrawn nature can often be read as untrustworthy, but those closest to him know that this couldn’t be further from the truth.

+ Reasonable

Observation is something that is a learned trait for Remus rather than a natural one. Years of practice and careful thought to navigate circumstances years above his young age have forced Remus to be cold and calculating in certain areas, often suspicious. However, when applied to the people he cares about, his observant, reasonable nature and ability to read people translates to compassion. For those closest to him, Remus is often a trustworthy and judgement-free confidant. Most of the time, he is fair, rational, and level-headed, something that he prides himself on. To him, this represents a much-desired control that is often lacking in other areas of his life.

Although his fragile surface may not illustrate this, Remus is undoubtedly resilient. Having already had to deal with enough emotional and physical pain and misfortune for a lifetime or two, he is no stranger to suffering, and covers it all up with a steely sense of mildness and calm that drive those closest to him mad. Each moon has left him with both a high tolerance for pain and countless scars beyond those written in blood, but he strives to try and not let this get to him. Steadfast, his determination in completing tasks and remaining faithful to those he cares about is one of his strongest qualities. However, along with this tenacity and perseverance comes an inevitable stubbornness and unyielding nature when crossed.

Sweet and charming, Remus’ quiet nature can be endearing at times. Always looking out for others, he has a thoughtful, pleasing manner about him that has managed to get him out of several tight situations before. To most who know Remus, he is nothing more than a kind, sweet guy. However when confronted about this, Remus will quickly reject the idea.

- Aggressive

Aggression is not something that people would ordinarily associate with Remus at first glance. However, beneath the careful layers and barriers that the man keeps up, Remus struggles with this daily. At first, aggression was merely something he associated with the wolf. Fearing his parent’s would look at him and see the monster, he forced himself to shut out natural emotions such as anger, saving those for his monthly transformations. However, this coping mechanism has led to a difficulty in managing anger and other natural reactions for fear of how others might react. At times, this manifests physically in the form of anxiety and panic, a fear of losing control so great that it can cause him to shut down. For Remus, there is nothing worse than those around him looking at him in fear like they would at the wolf.

- Resentful

The brooding war has had an impact on everyone, regardless of their stance in the tension. For Remus, the years prior to graduation and his uneasiness on where his place might be once he is finished with school, combined with the conflict outside Hogwarts’ doors have led him to become exceedingly depressive at times. Dejected, this negativity pulls down at his otherwise kind and optimistic nature, dividing him in two. To others, he is kind, steadfast, and always looking for solutions: optimistic as a necessity rather than a preference. However at night when there is no one else around him to impress, he doubts himself and his ability to help those he cares about most in the years to come. This depressive, resentful nature leads him to be cold and standoffish at times. Insomnia, anxiety, weight loss and restlessness increasingly plague his days and become more difficult to hide as the war rages on.

- Self-limiting

Critical to a core, at times Remus is his own worst enemy. On the outside, this presents itself as humorous quips and extreme modesty. To others, he might be polite, shy, or perhaps just reserved, a stark contrast to his boasting and loud friends. However, deeper down this self-deprecating nature is much more toxic and damaging. What started out as a hatred for his lycanthopy and the wolf at a young age have led Remus to hold himself to impossible standards to meet. In order to make up for what he believes to be short-comings, he is extremely hard on himself and ruthless in his perfectionism. Oftentimes, rather than face failure or rejection, Remus would rather limit himself, rarely making an effort to truly reach his own potential for fear that he isn’t capable or worth it.

- Poor choices

In an effort to please others, and particularly those closest to him, Remus can often find himself making poor choices. His judgement, while ordinarily present to keep him honest and fair, tends to be outweighed by his desire to please others and be liked. Constantly seeking approval, he has a history of setting aside what he knows to be right in order to impress others, something that he resents and regrets.

A FEW POTENTIAL PLOT POINTS

Interactions with Wolves: In the Second Wizarding War, Remus was tasked with reaching out to the werewolf community and acting as a spy in order to retrieve information. I would be interested in pursuing a plot point like this throughout the First Wizarding War. This would be an interesting plot to write, especially if it was required to remain a secret, potentially used to help divide the Marauders as the war progresses, leading up to the events in 1981.

Survival: I would also be interested in figuring out how Remus copes with the loss that is associated with war. As a resentful person, Remus can often be extremely depressive, and exploring how he deals with death and copes with change could be an intriguing idea. In addition to this, he will have to learn to rely on others, and building relationships with people is a particular challenge of his and one that could make for many interesting plots.

Remus thought carefully for a moment, the weight of the answer the implications in the words heavy on his tongue. “I would create a treatment for lycanthropy.”

♔ You have to venture deep into the Forbidden Forest one night. Pick one other character and one object (muggle or magical), besides your wand, that you’d want with you:

“Deep into the Forbidden Forest?” Remus replied, his head tilting slightly. Well this is one that doesn’t require much imagination. “I suppose I’d take Sirius, and a tent. Sirius makes for fun company if I’m going to be freezing my arse out there in the woods all night. I’d imagine that he’d find some way to make a game out of it.”

♔ What kinds of decisions are the most difficult for you to make?

“Decisions that involve the people I care about. My friends.” Remus answered, biting his lip. “I don’t think there are any decisions that are really easy anymore. Unless, you know, you count deciding what to eat for dinner or what shirt to wear.” A small small pulled at the edges of his lips. “I think that half the reason I’ve only got three is to make it easier for me to decide.”

♔ What is one thing you would never want said about you?

“Just one?” He answered, the thoughtful look in his eyes betraying the attempt at a smile. “Depends on who’s saying it. I wouldn’t want the guys to think that I don’t trust them, or that I’m someone I’m not.” He paused after a small beat. “Anyone else can say what they want. Doesn’t matter.”

Four Seasons || Self-Para

It was a curious thing, time. One minute would go by, just like any other, with the hands on the clock moving in the right direction and everything going perfectly as usual, and the next, the world has stopped and the hands are spinning backwards and forwards all at once, sometimes frozen altogether, and a quiet young man finds to his horror that there isn’t anything he can do about it but stand still and wait for it to pass him over. That’s how time tended to move in those days, really. Just like the hands on a broken clock, heading sometimes backwards and forwards and often not at all, attempting to figure out a purpose and place in a world that he, an outdated relic of the past, no longer belonged in.

Remus walked down the sides of a chilly street where the biting winter air managed to catch under the worn holes and ragged rips in his threadbare robes as he moved forwards, his head held low and his eyes directed downwards, following the light dusting of snow that covered the cracked brick sidewalk. One block. Two blocks. Three blocks. Passing several people, without the faintest of remarks or greetings to be heard. All usual, until there- out of the corner of his eye, he made the mistake of lifting his head, spotting something that caught him off-guard. An out-of-place red orange glow of heat that radiated out from a frosty pub window, and inside, a flash of a young man’s coy grin drew his glance. The clock jolted and he missed a step. He had to stop and remind himself to take a breath. One step. Two steps. It took him a minute, but he always managed to set himself back again. The face was not the one he knew. The memory was not his. The winter was empty.

Rain poured down the panes of glass clouded over with age and neglect, and if he was to venture outdoors, he would find flowers in bloom again once more. Spring, the season of rebirth. Just another word. Remus turned the pages of a familiar yellowed book, the repetition helping to ease the shake in his hand, until a loud roar is heard from just outside. He found himself looking away from his reading and leaning towards the window without thought, even going so far as to cup his tired hands around his eyes, his surprisingly youthful face pressed up against the glass as if he were a child once again, waiting eagerly for a special surprise. The flash that followed was not one of a motorbike’s soft headlamp, though, but instead one belonging to the crack of lightning that sent sudden daggers of light through the room with a gray glow, holding the man captive for just a few seconds more in a mute state. Back and forth the hands flew, before he jolted back from the old panes as if he had been licked by an open flame, burying his lined face in his hands, ragged breath uneven. It’s been years. It’s been years.

The summer was kinder, with it’s clear days, and calm, forgiving nights. From the kitchen window he could just barely make out the wooded area by the back of the house, and beyond that, the deep indigo of the night sky as it painted the world over once more with it’s breathtaking pattern of stars and constellations, only interrupted by the large and garish blotch of a moon. Weary from a long day’s work earning just enough to get by, he bent over the sink, washing clean a cracked plate and simple, off-white mug that he had found in a thrift shop. The room was quiet, except for the occasional creak and groan of the shabby house, which made each and every insignificant noise all the more evident. Turning off the tap, he found his breath hitching in when he glanced back up once more, finding himself greeted by the startlingly familiar image of a black dog darting off into the woods, most likely in response to a smaller animal which had moved in that direction only moments before. No, he has to remind himself. No. He had to forget. He had to remind himself that he was alone. Sirius, the last of his friends still alive, wouldn’t be coming back. He would never be coming back. Shutting his eyes for long enough, the hands of the clock that had willed themselves to stop and start and stop again once more are pushed on, as he forced himself to breath out, setting down the mug that he hadn’t realized was clutched tightly between fingers pale as bones. He had to forget.

Autumn was full of memories. Each season was, he supposed, but autumn in particular was set aside from the rest, for vastly different reasons. It was funny how time did that to him, he found. To understand and actually come to terms with the fact that there were people and places and smells and sounds, which only minutes ago had seemed to live and breath in full color and liveliness, that now only existed as a distant memory and a date in a book to others. No, this was something that Remus didn’t think he’d ever get used to. The dates in these books also placed some of his most precious and favorite memories alongside the ones that he wished he could erase over again and again, a curious and horrible reality and twist in fate. The burnt red of a falling leaf just like her hair, the laugh in the hazel eyes of a bespeckled young man as he passes him by just like the one he had grown so accustomed to hearing on the breeze. All of it, while now faded and grey, was still just as fresh in his mind as if it happened yesterday. Autumn was full of memories.

Tea and thinking, he found, often went together quite nicely. As he sat down by the window inside a small cafe, a personal favorite of his now over the years of solitary life, as it seemed to be less occupied than most and had simple servers who didn’t mind how long he stayed, Remus found himself glancing out at the dewy grass and crooked faces carved into the pumpkins that lined the steps, with children eagerly huddled up in groups and giggling with wide, hopeful grins. Later that evening he would force himself to visit the large stone grave set by Godric’s Hollow as he did each year on this day, and then the other, where what little that had remained of Peter had been buried. He took a sip of his tea and held the cup tightly, letting the sides of the steaming mug press against his scarred, rough skin, burning until the area around it went numb, a feeble attempt to warm the chill that would never leave his tired bones. He was always cold these days. Paying respects, he supposed, is what these visits were, though he wasn’t sure how that could be so. They were gone, not lingering around waiting for some wasted-away old friend to come by and sit for a chat. The dreaded day would stretch on, until at last Remus would find himself once again alone at night, another year gone by, feeling sleep in his eyes but a painful ache in his chest that would never be soothed by rest.

He paced around in the darkened room again and again, alongside the incessant ticking of a clock like a guide, the need to move forwards gnawing inside his fatigued form, a deep rooted effort to escape everything and anything that harbored pain and yet also held him captive so entirely by it’s beauty and potential. It was a difficult balance, this game that he played at. He moved until his weary bones aged far beyond their years could move no more, leaving him to sink back and lay down at last, relaxing into the eerie chill, the lines between life and death blurring all the while as the alcohol set in at last. However much he liked to pretend, this was his coffin, as the sole survivor amongst a family of the dead. He must be the one to remember. He must hurt. He must live. That is the burden he was made to carry.

Co-Admin(s) Wanted!

The Plot ( *has been changed from previous posts ): An au Descendants based rp ( I know, it may seem over done but bare with me ) set a month after King Benjamin’s 21st birthday and coronation. His first declaration is to allow children from the Isle of the Lost into Auradon with restrictions. The Isleborns are only allowed to leave school grounds on special occasions or if accompanied by either an Auradon Prep or King’s University staff member. Magic, over the years, is something that has been discouraged as the former King Beast wished for this new generation learn and achieve using talents other then magic. But, for those who wish: Magic is not allowed for those under 18, but this is more of a general rule, it’s not specific for Isleborns. Those over 18 may perform limited magic, Fairy Godmother has created a sort of magical sensor --- allowing her to monitor and evaluate the dangers of certain magic, divided up into levels (1 -5). Magic Levels 1 & 2 are deemed safe, but anything over level 3 will result in Fairy Godmother stepping in. A Level 5 ( deemed to be too powerful and dangerous, something that can result in mass destruction and death ) spell, or attempted spell, will result in the caster’s arrest and then a trial where the King and Fairy Godmother will decide their punishment. However....for an Isleborn this would mean being sent back to the Isle, permanently.

Features/Notes: There will be separate starter tags for the Prep students and University students, they will also be restricted from interacting unless they are siblings or for special occasions, such as balls or festivals. Will only accept fcs 16+ and excessive age-bending will not be permitted. Smut will not be allowed in this rp for various reasons. The rp will be semi-appless, acceptances every Saturday and Wednesday!

Canon Changes: King Ben is a NPC and silbings will be allowed for him, canon characters do not have to be the same age as Ben. Canon characters may have siblings if the mun’s wish.

Biography:

Leah was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama for the majority of her childhood. Her father, Scott, was a sports fisherman, and her mother, Annette, was a homemaker. They were a simple family, living a simple life, and they were happy. Unfortunately, living in a state such as Alabama, where the ideals of many weren’t as evolved as the rest of the country wasn’t always a pleasant experience; segregated communities were everywhere, and so were schools, hospitals and parks. And with segregated communities came extensive violence. Leah, a sub, didn’t get to experience much outside her home as a result. Her parents were much too scared of something happening to her, and as much as Scott loved his fishing, he loved his daughter far more and decided to move his family to Long Island, New York, having been to the state before for numerous fishing conventions.

New York was nothing like Alabama, and Leah fell in love with her new home in a matter of days. Sure, it wasn’t perfect, but it was refreshing and new and the people there were worth getting to know. Leah made friends, she went to a mixed high school, and soon she had a confidence about her that would have never appeared had she stayed in Mobile for the rest of her life. She dated, she had her heart broken a few times, she made mistakes like all human beings do, but she also made mistakes as a sub, and she learned from them. Somewhere along this time period, she met Ben.

Ben was a student teacher, and it was through Ben that Leah entered the world of teaching. She found herself fascinated in the stories Ben would tell her over the phone about his music students. The pair fell in love, and they entered a claim together. Ben was an amazing Dom who treated Leah like she was the greatest thing to ever happen to him. The two understood each other so well and their relationship was healthy and balanced. Around the time that laws were first starting to change, and subs were allowed to start pursuing jobs typically saturated by Doms, Leah became Mrs. Ben Landa. Ben had done everything in his power to help Leah get into a private college, where she studied Submission, with a minor in music.

Then one day, Leah received the worst news of her entire life. Ben had been in a car accident, sitting in the back of a taxi. The drunk driver who hit them had made it out alive, but the cabbie and Ben did not. The days that followed couldn’t even compare to the day that she lost Ben, but they were still awful. She lost her home, their car, and nearly all of their belongings, all because she was a sub. All of her “not” possessions were given to Ben’s brother, a Dom, who gave them all back to her when she was once again settled at home with her parents. She hugged him tight and thanked him, tears staining his t-shirt.

Two years since then, she was offered a job at St. Brendan’s, where she’s been ever since. She was able to find love once again, having fallen head-over-heels for Blaine Anderson, a Dominant student of the school, and the claimed pair have been inseparable through everything life has ever thrown at them. They are now eagerly planning the rest of their lives past the school’s walls, this being Blaine’s final year as a student, and (though the school may not yet know it) wherever her Dom decides to go, Leah is sure to follow.

hello !! some friends & i have created a harry potter mumu, and we’re looking for a few more more members! we’re going to be roleplaying in all of the verses (canon & au)! if you’re looking for a no-pressure group where people can just play all the characters they’ve wanted to including their original characters, then here we are !! we are looking to keep this rather small player-wise, so we’re looking to add somewhere between 3-7 people. you can play one character or a hundred, it’s entirely up to you ! we’re just looking for players who want to have fun roleplaying !

okay so let’s get down to business:

this group is very chill lowkey. we aren’t going to have activity checks or anything like that, but we do ask if you’re not interested anymore to let us know so we can check around to see if anyone might wanna pick up a canon you could be leaving.

we would prefer players to be 16+ because of potentially mature plots. some plots that we do not want to see on the dash are incest, racism, pedophilia, homophobia/transphobia, or anything involving graphic sexual abuse.

we would like you to have access to discord. once we have our new members, we’re going to make a discord chat that we can all chat in! we aren’t going to make it mandatory, but we highly, highly recommend having it. our goal is to make this a long-lasting mumu & we feel we need a great deal of communication to make that happen.

this is first come, first serve so if someone gets their form in before you for the character, they’ll get them! same goes for the faceclaim(s).

on the topic of faceclaims, we aren’t super picky about them, but we ask that you not choose any faceclaims that are largely considered problematic, deceased, or underage. additionally, we do ask that you refrain from repeating faceclaims in the same generation. we’d prefer if all the faceclaims weren’t repeated, but if you absolutely need to play max irons in the next generation era, we likely won’t say no! if you don’t really wanna use a faceclaim, but would rather just write, that’s okay too! on a similar note, we also are okay with you choosing more than one faceclaim for different periods in their life; for instance, andromeda has kaya scodelario for her hogwarts years, melanie scrofano for her younger adult years, and michelle fairley for her older adult years.

we don’t care if you use gifs, icons, or nothing at all. if you use gifs or icons, we don’t care what size they are. use whatever you want (but please make sure people can actually see them. 50x50 is not accessible!).

Bio: Will Vandom had a lot of changes during her life, from divorced parents to moving toa new city because of her mother’s work. Heatherfield is where she experienced the most changes. Getting used to a new town, school and making friends is definitely a hard task for a fourteen-year-old who’s just starting to enter puberty. But not only did Will meet a very interesting group of girls, but something bigger would unite them and make all of them the greatest friends. Will, along with Irma Lair, Taranee Cook, Cornelia Hale and Hay Lin, became the new Guardians of Kandrakar and the Veil, with powers given to the to fulfil this task. Will became the leader, making her the keeper of the Heart of Kandrakar and the one with power over the Quintessence.

To talk about Will, she is most likely the most tomboy-ish of the Guardians, also one of the most insecure in certain subjects and is sensitive towards other people’s feelings. Not only that, but Will also has a fierce temper but the heart of a leader; with the years she learned to make quick desitions in the most difficult scenarios. Nowadays this doesn’t happen that much but she used to have big issues with trusting people, because of the fear of rejection like her old friends in Fadden Hills did during the divorce of her parents.

For a long while ( I mean, years ) Will used to have this big crush on a guy named Matt Olsen, then even dated for a long time. But things began to shatter between the two, eventually putting an end to their relationship. Nowadays, Will cannot even stand being in the same room as him.

V001: Who You’re Gonna Call

Default main verse. Takes place at any point in the comics but mostly post the new power arc ( 7th ) or after the guardians become official Magical Sovereigns of Kandrakar.

V002: Older and a Little bit Wiser

Young adult | College verse. Will may not be a teenager anymore, but she still feels like the worlds are too much of a big place. Years have gone by and she’s still a Guardian, now going as Sovereigns, with her friends they’ve protected Kandrakar and other words countless of times, and they’re always ready if a new threat comes by. Outside of her magical responsibilities, Will has graduated from college and now is trying to become a professional writer, currently working on a story.

Note: In this verse, Will’s is 23 years old

V003: Magicless

Alternate main verse. What if, instead of Susan and Will moving to Heatherfield, they decided to move somewhere else? By default, Will wouldn’t have met any of her friends not she would’ve become a Guardian of the Veil. She would be just a normal girl, like the rest, with a passion for swimming and a love for frogs.

V004: District Five

A Hunger Games verse. Born in a small house in District 5, Will had a modest life until she was twelve. The year her name was going to be on the Reaping for the first time her parents had a big fight which ended up in a divorce. Luckily for Will, she wasn’t chosen to be a part of the Hunger Games on that occasion and had the rest of the year to adapt to a new lifestyle, only with her mother. Not even her so-called ‘friends’ made the situation better, they betrayed her and said that she should’ve been reaped for the Hunger Games.

A year later, when Will was thirteen, this time fate was against her and Will became the female tribute for District 5. Will had everything against her, nobody thought she would survive especially she is so young against much older tributes; but a miracle happened, Will Vandom was brave during the games and with her little knowledge of electricity (since that year the arena took place in a place with a lot of water) the redhead managed to electrocute the last two survivors (minus her). And she became the winner of the Hunger Games in that year.

Now at the age of seventeen, Will and her mother had a somewhat peaceful life, neither of them had to live with the fear of Will ending up in the Hunger Games because it already happened. Because of what happened in the past, the divorce and betrayal of her old friends, Will has very strong trusting issues. Not even during the training or in the arena, the girl tried to make an ally or a friend; and that behaviour is still in her system.

V005: Runaway Countess

A medieval or fantasy verse. Once a countess, daughter of a very rich family, now a young runaway who only wants to be free.

Lady Wilhelmina Vandom wasn’t your ordinary Countess; sure she can act like a proper lady but that wasn’t her style… that wasn’t the real Will. Not only she despises her name but always wished to have more freedom and not to be so oppressed. During a political dispute and some serious problems between her parents, the young maiden had enough of that and decided to run away. Now alone in the real world, Will fights hard to survive. She is willing to do any job ( ok, not every job ) and get dirty, but everything is worth the freedom she has now.

V006: Dance Academy

A verse within her fandom fully exclusive to any Jensen Dance Academy business. Will never thought the audition for Jensen’s Dance Academy would pay off. Sure, she did it because Taranee convinced her and the others, and Taranee is her best friend, but Will has never been the greatest dancer. Was it luck that she got in? Who knows, but Will enjoys this new moment of her life, doing something that Taranee loves together.

V007: Another Kind of Descendant

A Descendants verse. In Auradon, most of the children either come from heroes or villains, currently vanished at the Isle of the Lost. It’s very rare to find another realm that co-exists within the same universe, and yet Kandrakar is very much a thing Beast and Belle (as well as some of the other royals) are aware of. Their ‘descendants’, to call it like that, are the next generation of Guardians of the Veil.

Will Vandom was shocked to hear from the Oracle and her teacher, the current Guardian of the quintessence until the role is fully passed down to her, that she and the others would be attending Auradon from now on. To get to know other kids of their age, form strong social links and so on and so for – but to also act as a kind of mediator for the VK when necessary. Since they come from a different realm, people in Kandrakar believe in second chances.

But, honestly? Will is more nervous about meeting new people than being a mediator. Even if she’s able to use her magic, since their magic laws don’t really apply to people from Kandrakar, it will take a while for her to feel comfortable in an environment like this one.

V008: Almost an Avenger

An MCU verse. How did the Guardians of the Veil got involved with superheroes? Well– one of their villains was threatening Earth on a bigger scale than just Heatherfield. And while they were going to defeat Phobos on their own, somehow Nick Fury and the Avengers got involved into their mess. Fury even asked them to become official members of the Avengers.

The Guardians gave a ‘half no’. They don’t mind helping them from time to time when Earth is under tragic danger (Like the time with Loki) but they prefer to not be official members. Their first priority os Kandrakar, after all, they have to take care of the entire universe.

V009: Atomic Energy

A My Hero Academia verse. When not busy trying to get a full hold on her powers (which, even at her age, still has some troubles), Will is a third-year who can be awkward but fun to have around. She’s a kickass swimmer too!

Quirk: Able to use the natural energy of atoms around her as lasers – if Will pulls all her might and determination to it, she can have enough energy for a large laser or explosion. The downside to her quick is that it drains her physically ( and mentally too, if she pushes herself over the limit ).

Only hours earlier, Nick Timothy had still been regarded as “the most powerful man in Britain”, but with the clock showing 3pm on June 9 he was about to make a call that would render him unemployed.

Dialling Theresa May’s personal mobile number, he told her that after eight years by her side, and having co-authored the manifesto that was blamed for the Tories losing their parliamentary majority, he had no alternative but to resign.

“Nobody told me I had to go, but it became inevitable,” he says. “I’d stayed up all night watching the results come in. The exit poll was a shock and when it became clear that it was right, it was obvious that I would have to go.

“I said to Theresa in Conservative Central Office on the Friday morning that I thought it was probable I would have to resign, then I did so over the phone that afternoon. She understood why.”

Two months on, Timothy has had plenty of time to reflect on his and the party’s humiliation in the general election, and has decided now is the time to share his views on what went wrong and why, as well as giving his thoughts on what Mrs May must do to stop Jeremy Corbynbecoming the future incumbent of Downing Street.

Shorn of the bushy beard he had sported for three years, (“I got sick of people telling me how old it made me look”, he says) and after a refreshing holiday in Sardinia, the 37-year-old looks, quite literally, a different person from the mysterious, careworn figure who was likened by opponents to Theresa May’s version of Rasputin.

He and the former Sky News journalist Fiona Hill were Mrs May’s joint chiefs of staff, developing such a close relationship with her both at the Home Office and Number 10 that Cabinet ministers regarded them as the second and third most powerful people in the country.

It was to Timothy, together with the former Cabinet Office minister Ben Gummer (who lost his seat at the election) that Mrs May entrusted the task of writing the Conservative Party manifesto, which scared the horses just when it seemed Mrs May was cantering to victory.

Is he, then, the man who blew the Conservative majority?

“I take responsibility for the things that I was responsible for,” he says. “I do have regrets about the way the campaign was fought but everybody who was involved has to reflect and be honest with themselves about what they did, including me. And I hope I have.”

Timothy says at the outset of our interview that he will not point the finger of blame at anyone else who was involved, but his answers leave no doubt of the tensions that existed between Downing Street staff and the team of election strategists, including Sir Lynton Crosby, who were brought in by Mrs May.

“Our early instincts when we were thinking about the election was to have a more traditional campaign, daily press conferences, more policy content, certainly not make it a semi-presidential campaign,” he says. “And we didn’t do those things because the advice was about playing to strengths (meaning Mrs May) and to be perfectly honest I didn’t really challenge that. I was in a position to change this and I didn’t. With hindsight obviously we would have done it differently.”

The strategy of putting Theresa May front and centre, based on her soaring approval ratings at the start of the campaign, quickly unravelled as the Prime Minister’s uninspiring “Maybot” performances on the stump put voters off.

“We knew the campaign wasn’t going as well as we’d hoped,” admits Timothy, “but actually on the basis of the research and data there was no urgent need to change the strategy because the projections still looked good.”

He trots out the statistic that the Conservatives won 42.4 per cent of the vote, the highest by a winning party since 1997, but admits that a major strategic error cost the party votes from Labour supporters who had initially been prepared to switch sides but ultimately lost faith in Mrs May.

He says: “The entire political strategy of Theresa’s leadership campaign and of the Government from July 2016 to April 2017 was based on the kind of insight that Theresa had about the country and about the referendum campaign, that yes it was a vote to leave the European Union but it was also a vote for serious change.

“The message we were conveying all the time was ‘we get the anger, we get the need to change, we’re on the side of change’.”

It was why he used the manifesto to reject “untrammelled free markets” and “selfish individualism”, seen at the time as being rather un-Conservative language.

The Tories, he says, made it clear they would be governing in the interests of “ordinary working people” and would not tolerate economic irresponsibility from rich or poor, using the power of the state “to reform dysfunctional markets and to bring industrial strategy to other parts of the country”.

It worked, and Mrs May became more popular even than Margaret Thatcher at her peak, according to polls at the time.

“But then having done that the electoral strategy was fundamentally different. It was a reassurance and continuity campaign rather than a change campaign and on reflection I think that was wrong.

“The ‘strong and stable’ slogan wasn’t necessarily a problem but looking back we would have been much better off with a message showing we understood the need for change and we were the people capable of delivering it.”

He also admits that the Party “clearly” underestimated Jeremy Corbyn and accepts: “It probably is true that there should have been more on the economy during the campaign.”

Nick Timothy may no longer be in Downing Street, but his views still matter, not least because he is still in contact with Theresa May (to whom he always refers as Theresa, rather than the Prime Minister).

“I have spoken to Theresa a few times since the election but I haven’t seen her and I’m not advising her on policy,” he says. “They are private conversations, people catching up.” He says the same about a recent photograph of him meeting Environment Secretary Michael Gove for a pint.

Has Mrs May sought his advice on anything?

“No because when you have been on the inside you realise as soon as you’re on the outside what you don’t know, so if I did try to advise her I don’t think I would be doing her a service and we both know that.

“She has got a very good team of people around her, she doesn’t need my advice from afar.”

Those who know Timothy and Mrs May might find it difficult to believe they will both be able to resist the temptation to talk policy in the future.

Timothy believes the Party must return to a message of change to avoid an even worse result at the next general election.

He says: “Overall the lesson of the election for the party and for the Government cannot be ‘Oh well, we tried that and we didn’t win the election we were hoping for so let’s not try it any more’.

“If the party retreats to a much more orthodox Conservative proposition then I worry that won’t be sufficient to tackle the big problems that the country has and in five years’ time we do risk the election of a dangerous left-wing alternative.”

Timothy accepts that the controversial policy of charging more people for social care was poorly presented, giving opponents the chance to define it as a “dementia tax”, but still believes “the policy is the strong one and the right one” because the problem of Britain's ageing population is not going to go away.

He accepts that the policy was killed off by the election result, but says the Tories must not waste the next five years by doing nothing about it, or about the long-term funding of the NHS.

Why not set up a Royal Commission, he says, to reach a lasting cross-party solution to the crisis?

He cites the Beveridge Report, published at the height of the war in 1942, which formed the basis for the post-war foundation of the welfare state and the NHS.

“The ideas behind the creation of the modern welfare state were done at a time when clearly the country wasn’t in a position to implement them,” he says, “but they didn’t waste that time, they used it. Something like that could take place over the next few years.

“We need more of the reformed Conservative proposition rather than less. It’s certainly the case that that kind of policy work and that kind of thinking needs to go on.”

He denies that he, Fiona Hill and the Prime Minister formed a kitchen cabinet that micro-managed Government policy and caused a bottleneck in getting things done, but concedes: “We probably didn’t communicate as well as we could have done, directly with the public and the media, and probably to a certain extent around Whitehall.”

Timothy shares many of the same traits as the Prime Minister, and it is easy to see why they developed such a strong mutual respect.

Serious, intellectual and distinctly uncomfortable talking about anything bordering on the personal, his back-story also echoes Mrs May’s journey from provincial vicar’s daughter to Conservative politics via grammar school.

Timothy was born in Tile Cross, Birmingham, to working class parents who had switched their support from Labour to the Conservatives when Margaret Thatcher came to power in 1979, the year before he was born.

His father, Albert, had left school at 14 and worked his way up from the factory floor of a local steel works to become head of international sales - the sort of “striver” so beloved of the Conservative Party. His mother Margaret, also an early school leaver, did secretarial work at a local school.

Timothy developed a boyhood passion for Aston Villa FC, but it was not until his second year at King Edward VI Aston School, a boys’ grammar, that he picked a political team to support.

He said: “The 1992 election was an early example as a kid growing up of how politics can change people’s lives. I had just got to the school that gave me this opportunity and if Labour had won the election that year the threat was to close it down.”

Sheffield University followed, and a first class degree in politics, before a spell of volunteering for Birmingham Conservatives led to a job in the Conservative Research Department.

He got to know Mrs May, was chosen as her special adviser in the Home Office, and when Mrs May reached Downing Street, Timothy followed her there. Aged just 36 at the time, he was generally viewed as indispensable, but resents the suggestion in Westminster that he was her “brain”.

He says: “She has done a very good job of stabilising things since the election which disproves that theory anyway, but I do think there’s more than a hint of sexism to be honest, there’s a sort of implication that even having become Prime Minister she somehow doesn’t have a set of beliefs and a programme of her own and she obviously does.

“Suggesting I’m the creator of those ideas is absurd and insulting to her.”

He suggests Mrs May is misunderstood because “she doesn’t allow herself to be put into ideological boxes” and “confused” people as Home Secretary because she was tough on immigration and crime while also introducing the first modern slavery act and clamping down on abuses of power.

“Of course those things aren’t mutually exclusive but hearing it from the same person leads people to think ‘I don’t really understand what that person stands for’.

“It’s because she has the intellectual curiosity and reach to go beyond that.”

One person who allegedly finds her hard to understand is the Chancellor. There have been repeated reports of shouting matches between No.10 and No.11 and a widespread belief that Mrs May intended to sack Philip Hammond if she increased her majority at the election. Not true, says Timothy.

“She did not intend to get rid of him,” he says. “Theresa refused to even talk about post-election reshuffles because she thought it was inappropriate, it took things for granted, she wanted to concentrate on the campaign, so that was just never on the cards and I don’t know what the origin of that story was.

“They go for dinner or breakfast with one another probably every fortnight, they get along fine but the two of them are businesslike politicians, that’s how they work.

“It’s the cliche about her that she has never sought to be in a gang or have her own gang, but the way people perceive the relationship is in part down to the way the two of them tend to conduct themselves. There is no rift.”

Unsurprisingly for someone so loyal to his former employer, Timothy expresses his “very, very strong view” that she is the right person to lead the country through Brexit, and insists she is not being led towards a “softer” route out of the EU.

He says: “The country can trust her to get the job done. The fundamental things that the country voted for, that we will leave the EU, control immigration, that the Court of Justice should have no jurisdiction in this country, that we should stop paying membership fees, I’m confident that those things will end.

“For all the talk from some people that we must seek some sort of partial membership of the European Economic Area or something like that, the intention of the Government has been clear from the beginning - that if you seek a partial relationship the danger is that you will be in the worst of all worlds, where you will be a rule-taker with none of the advantages of being in, but you will also sacrifice some of the advantages of being out.”

He says it is natural that some ministers will want to emphasise particular points of the Brexit strategy, (such as Mr Hammond’s recent comments about a lengthy transition period) but insists that “if you strip out the noise” the Cabinet is adhering to the strategy set out by the Prime Minister in January, which means leaving the EU and all of its structures but with a period of transition.

He also said Mrs May is still prepared to walk away without a deal.

“It would be a bad thing if we got into a situation where there was no deal for all concerned, but there are circumstances where Britain would have to be prepared to walk away. ‘No deal is better than a bad deal’ isn’t just a slogan, it means something.”

Timothy, whose personal turmoil also included the breaking-off of his engagement to his German fiancee Nike Trost before the election, now intends to take another holiday, with his new girlfriend, a former Downing Street colleague.

He laughs off suggestions that he now has a reputation to rebuild, saying: “I advised anyone who would listen that they shouldn’t believe the hype then, and they shouldn’t believe the corresponding hype now.

“I think anyone who worries about their personal brand in that kind of way needs to take a cold shower.”

How can you interact with her? 1. Ask to join her House! Ode is always looking for good people to fight at her side. 2. Paladins! Ode isn’t exactly a member of the Church, but she frequents it to pray or think in solitude. She also spent a good amount of time at the Order Hall at Light’s Hope while fighting the Legion in the Broken Isles! Could recognize her, even if you don’t know her directly. 3. Hearsay: Ode’s about, and very outspoken. Could just be you heard about her, or her involvement in such things as being on the jury of one of the court cases from the Civil Unrest storyline! 4. Just say hi! Ode will stop to talk to people sometimes, and especially if they address her first. She may not be a great speaker, but she can hold a conversation! How can you interact with him? 1. More Hearsay! Adi was around as Lord of House Dragonblade far before Ode was in charge, so it’s not out of the question you’d have heard of him. He was in the Royal Courier a couple of times, too, so his face is out there as at least being familiar if you want! 2. Death Knights! Adi’s been around Acherus a lot more recently, and there, he isn’t as cautious about keeping his face hidden. You could very well have spotted him from across the way, and recognized him later. Or, you know, he’s OBVIOUSLY a Death Knight, what with the eyes. Feel free to just approach him as a Brother or Sister in arms! 3. Conflict! Adi’s changed a bit, but if he sees your character in trouble, he’ll still step in. May be less keen on talking the situation down, but he can’t bring himself to ignore a person in need! 4. Talk to Me OOC! Adi’s situation is strange, because at the moment, he’s honest-to-Gods trying to avoid people if he can help it. That doesn’t mean I’m unwilling to set something up. Mostly, though, it’ll either have to be with him not being recognized, or him pressuring someone to keep quiet. @adisor-dragonblade

How can you interact with him? 1. Pirates! Garver’s a Captain of his ship, the Black Dawn! Maybe you heard of it? Saw it docked somewhere out in the Great Sea? Or maybe they’ve crossed paths when Garver plundered a trade vessel you were working on? Open to ideas here! 2. Drinks! Garv frequents taverns, and if you see him, say hello! He’s quick to judge, so he might be a bit stand-offish at first, with biting sarcasm. But if he likes you, he’ll come around to joking and drinking genuinely. 3. SI:7! For a time when Garver had just finished his schooling, he thought he wanted to work for SI:7! And he did, for a time, before realizing the constrictions of it all didn’t fly with how he wanted to live. If you’ve been in Stormwind Intelligence for a while, or would be able to know who works/worked for them in the past, you might know him! He hasn’t changed his look at all, other than some gear upgrades! 4. His Crew! Garver’s crew is large, and I’m working on a master-post for them all over on his blog. Name: Raura Dragonblade Age: 421 (Draenei~) Relationship: Single FC: Jamie Chung

How can you interact with her? 1. Someone Say Hearsay? So this one’s specific: A while back at one of the Tournaments of Strength, Raura won the archery competition. Still uses the prize bow as her main weapon, and wears the title “The People’s Markswoman” with pride! Maybe they were there and saw, or read about it when the events were summed up in the paper! 2. Training Yard! Raura’s practicing a lot! Training new animals, practicing her aim, testing new sorts of chemicals and enchantments on her arrows! Also been practicing with a polearm, after having learned the basics of using one, trying to nail down her own style with it! Can always come across her training, or have recognized her doing as much! 3. Pets! So many! Any one could come up and interact with your character if you want them to! Her most frequent pet is a light-blue fox named Spectre, who’s basically a dog, and can come up to sniff your character! She also has a bird, Halaa, that’s always flying around nearby in case Raura needs sky support! Final noteable pet is Doshtah. Doshtah is a Kodo, and Raura takes him around the city every now and again, and yeah, a Kodo in Stormwind will stand out. Feel free to start a conversation based on that! 4. Unseen Path! Raura’s been working with them! Not constantly, but enough that one of their folks or someone who’s doing similar might recognize her, or her pets! @raura-dragonblade

So there you have it! The Dragonblade Clan, all except Ode’s children, because they’re only like ten so they I don’t really RP them like I do these four! That said, it’s also worth noting I have... A TON of alts. All of whom I have some framework of a backstory/character for, so I could RP on them. But these four are the nearest and dearest to my heart, and the ones I have the most muse for. MUN QUESTIONS. Q1 : if you could write your character your way in their own movie , what would it be called , what style would it be filmed in , and what would it be about ? A1 : I FUCKING WANT A MORDRED MOVIE OKAY. seriously, this is a hot-button issue for me. i’ve never seen a film or tv adaptation where mordred was depicted well imo. i actually really want a mordred musical but i am no good at scriptwriting or songwriting. anyway, back to the question. i would probably title my hypothetical mordred movie the raven knight or something like that. i don’t know much about film styles, but i would love it to be directed by niels arden oplev or david fincher. (bonus: the musical would ideally be directed by michael arden.) obviously it’d be about mordred. duh. it would span from childhood to death and it would be emotionally intense and complex, but also have some black comedy elements. Q2 : what would their soundtrack / score sound like ? A2 : it would have clear celtic elements to it, with lots of woodwinds and strings. nothing too dramatic or overproduced. i would want the score to tell as much of a story as the film itself. (bonus: for the musical, i would love alan menken and stephen schwartz because they did a marvelous job on the hunchback musical, which is probably my fav.) Doyle and Warshaw on your team's biggest needs as transfer window opens

The summer transfer window is open, which means it’s time to break out the checkbooks and do some shopping – or, since this is MLS, a little bit of trading. And it’s worth remembering, of course, that thanks to the rising cap and an influx of Targeted Allocation Money, MLS GMs have more cash to use than at any prior point in the league’s history.

It’s also worth remembering that spending a lot doesn’t necessarily guarantee a lot. We’ve seen a number of outright failures amongst discretionary TAM signings already (Alfredo Ortuño and Ager Aketxe, come on down!), and there will assuredly be more to come.

This should not surprise anyone. MLS, as a league, is relatively new to the global international transfer game, and there will be a learning curve in terms of identifying and integrating talent. Even good teams with good front offices can struggle with that.

I’ve got the Western Conference teams, and my colleague Bobby Warshaw’s got the East teams.

Atlanta United

“Needs? Lol. What needs?”

Let’s look at the checklist for building a team:

Elite talent: Check. Almiron, Martinez, Villalba, Nagbe, etc etc.

Squad balance: Check. Atlanta can pair their star attackers with disciplined anchors like Jeff Larentowicz and Michael Parkhurst. New addition Eric Remedi adds muscle and athleticism in the middle, as well.

Depth: Check. Atlanta are two deep at every position, and can bring in a starting-caliber player if anyone goes out. Center back might be their weakest position in terms of depth – Miles Robinson is still untested and Chris McCann may or may not be good enough – but I’m a believer that teams should leave room for young players to grow. If Michael Parkhurst or Leandro Gonzalez Pirez get hurt, Robinson might be forced into action. It might damage Atlanta’s chances in 2018, but it would help a key young asset grow, which is important for Atlanta in the long term.

Youth development: The Five Stripes have youth starlets Andrew Carleton, Chris Goslin and George Bello on the roster and more in the academy pipeline.

In other words, Atlanta should be chillin’. Any new parts would be more likely to unbalance the squad than fix any holes.

Chicago Fire

The Fire are a team in limbo. They have star players at the tail end of their peak (though still at a very high level) – Dax McCarty, Bastian Schweinsteiger and Nemanja Nikolic – and then a group of younger guys who have shown potential. The window on the older guys may close before the young’uns ripen to maturity.

Most immediately, the Fire need a central attacking player and a center back. Signing a center mid, however, would take minutes from rookie Mo Adams and second-year pro Brandt Bronico, and a new center back would demote highly-rated rookie Grant Lillard. So do the Fire give Adams, Bronico, Lillard and others minutes and help them develop into elite players? Or do they sign ready-made starters to get the team to the playoffs now?

The Fire would regret missing the Dax-Bastian-Nemanja window, so they should sign both a playmaker and a center back, but only for the right price and at the right age. If those guys aren’t available, they should use McCarty, Schweinsteiger and Nikolic to guide the team to sustainable growth via the young talent.

Colorado Rapids

They just played a 5-4-1 with six center backs on the field at various spots, and exactly zero of their big signings from the last two years have paid off to a degree commensurate with their salaries, and the pipeline of young talent hasn’t been robust, and to be completely honest they have so many questions in this team that I’m not sure where, exactly, they should start looking for answers.

How about a No. 10? A guy who can really, really pass the ball would make this team more fun, at the very least.

Columbus Crew SC

This is the easiest one in the top bunch. Crew SC need a winger who can contribute goals. Their leading goal scorer is Gyasi Zardes with 11; Federico Higuain is second with four. After that, it’s pretty barren. Pedro Santos, Mike Grella and Eduardo Sosa have one goal each, while Christian Martinez and Luis Argudo have yet to score.

Columbus don’t lack for chances or shots – they are seventh in MLS per game in both categories; they simply aren’t scoring when the openings come. It means that, as a whole, Crew SC are next to last in goals scored in the East. It’s already starting to take a toll, as they have lost six of their last nine.

Perhaps one of the wingers will break out and start finishing the chances. Offseason signing Sosa is now healthy and should get a run at winger and provide new flair. Or perhaps he/they won’t and the problem will tank Crew SC’s season. Or perhaps head coach Gregg Berhalter will hedge his bets and find another winger via trade or the transfer market.

D.C. United

It’s tough to judge a team that’s played 12 out of 14 games on the road. Audi Field finally opens this weekend; United’s real season was always going to start as soon as that game came around.

When Sporting Kansas City opened their new stadium in 2011, they had only seven points from their first 11 games. Sporting went on a tear in the second half of the year and won the most points, 51, in their conference that season.

Before D.C. look to add any more players, they need to find out what the team looks like with Wayne Rooney in it. Rooney – like any high-priced player – will take up a lot of air, and the team will largely mold around his presence. And his best position has always been up for debate. Ben Olsen will need to find how the team will play with him, and where Rooney will play within it. From there, they can start to make other decisions about the squad.

They pulled themselves out of the 2017 death spiral and are sitting atop the West – just as they were last year at this time. They’ve also avoided last year’s mistake by selling two players (Mauro Diaz and Anton Nedyalkov) when good offers came in, which should keep the locker room closer to healthy.

The problem is that Diaz has been this team’s best player for four years and they become a vastly different team without him. None of the possible replacements as a No. 10 (Santiago Mosquera, Roland Lamah, Paxton Pomykal) play the position the same way, nor have they been as effective. Another problem is that Kellyn Acosta, who was looking like the league’s breakout star at this point in 2017, is a shadow of the player he was 12 months ago.

It might be time to test the trade market for him. And as for Diaz’s spot, Fernando Clavijo has said they’re looking at bringing in a DP-level replacement.

Houston Dynamo

The Dynamo have sort of silently battled injuries to their two defensive midfielders, Juan David Cabezas and Darwin Ceren, all season long and have had to compensate lately by playing Boniek Garcia at that spot. Add in a leaky defense and it’s something of a miracle they’re still in the playoff race.

A leaky and old defense, I should add. Houston need to go out there and find their own Leandro Gonzalez Pirez or Alex Callens at center back. Get a guy back there who can save them points rather than cost them points, and they’ll be comfortably above the playoff line soon, and for good. They should be active and aggressive to get this done.

My concern going into the season with this group was they wouldn’t have enough ball-winning oomph in central midfield. And there they were on Saturday night, playing Benny Feilhaber and Lee Nguyen as dual d-mids. So what do I know, really?

About the only thing I see on this roster is a need for one more center back – perhaps a left-footer. Other than that this roster is stacked, and their biggest moves have been made.

They’ve spent a ton and my hunch is they would be quite happy to get off at least a couple of those DP contracts (and maybe all three, given that Romain Alessandrini has been only a part-time starter for Sigi Schmid’s team). I’m sure they will listen to offers.

Anything they get from said offers needs to be pumped back into the team, specifically at right back. And even if they don’t get rid of any of the large, under-producing contracts that dot the roster, they should look for a right back anyway

It’s amazing, by the way, how underwhelming Los Dos has been in terms of producing contributors compared to teams like NYRBII, Real Monarchs, TFC2 and Bethlehem Steel. LA have the richest academy talent pool north of the Rio Grande and have been running their USL side longer than anybody, but there’s never been a clear path from there to the first team and it really doesn’t look like that’ll be changing any time soon.

Minnesota United FC

They’re down at 1.06 PPG and have the worst goal differential in the West despite adding a bunch of new pieces in attack, on the wings, at fullback and at central defense. In spite of – because of? – all of that, Bobby Shuttleworth has had to be a hero week after week in order to just keep things respectable.

Fans will point to key players from last year regressing at other spots, and fair enough. But when just about everybody’s taking a step backwards, it suggests there’s something systemic at play here.

MNUFC have the second-highest median salary in the league, by the way. They’re not a high-spending team by any stretch, but their salary outlay is more than people generally realize. And given how futile some of those signings have been, and how stunted the development of most of the young players on the roster has been, it’s difficult to justify going out on the market and spending more.

They should work the phones for some trades, though, for sure.

Montreal Impact

The transfer window comes at a weird time for the Impact. They are on a four-game win streak and have won four of their last five, pushing their way into a playoff spot. But not that long ago it felt like the team should call it a wrap for 2018 and focus on the future. And Remi Garde seemed to be the torch bearer for the idea, declaring just seven weeks ago that his team lacked talent.

The biggest requirement for Montreal is getting a clear picture of where the team stands. Has the squad rallied together and proven they are good enough to contend? If so, it may be detrimental to add someone new and mess with team’s camaraderie. Or, conversely, is the win streak a product of hitting an easy patch of games – Houston’s reserve lineup, Orlando and Colorado – that’s hiding obvious shortcomings? If that, then go get the goods while the playoff opportunity is still there.

Once they figure out who they are, they can make decisions. If they want to add, the first priorities would be a young, steady center back and a pacey center forward to run on the break with Ignacio Piatti.

New England Revolution

The Revs have been a pleasant surprise this year. They press the hell out of teams and have established a clear identity. At the same time, they often get in trouble when teams break the pressure. The Revs have allowed soft goals on balls served into their penalty box.

They could use a no-nonsense center back to clean up the mistakes. But a no-nonsense, mistake-free center back that can also play in a pressing system generally goes for hefty sums on the transfer market.

New York City FC

The Cityzens had one of the most talented, most balanced rosters in MLS, but their best laid plans took a hit in June when starting center midfielder Yangel Herrera went down for the year. Offseason acquisition Ebenezer Ofori has settled well into Herrera’s spot, but he isn’t Herrera and the team hasn’t appeared as ruthless as they once did.

Herrera’s absence also leaves a hole in new head coach Dome Torrent’s potential plans. Torrent has shown a preference in recent years to play with two attack-minded box-to-box midfielders. While at Bayern Munich and Manchester City with Pep Guardiola, they used Arturo Vidal, Thiago Alcantara, Kevin De Bruyne and David Silva in front of a single pivot.

With Herrera out, Torrent doesn’t have that type of player on the roster right now. Should he choose to play thay system, he might need to go shopping.

New York Red Bulls

A week ago, I would have said the Red Bulls should and will stand pat. They have beaten (smashed?) all of the elite teams they’ve faced this year. This past week, though, the club announced that starting winger Florian Valot is out for the year with a knee injury.

The Red Bulls will need to find a replacement for Valot, either as depth to a promoted Alex Muyl or as a starter. The recent departure of Carlos Rivas opens the necessary roster spot. The team could probably also use a reliable goalscorer to support or back up Bradley Wright-Phillips, but I personally hope Derrick Etienne Jr. gets the chance to develop into that player.

Orlando City SC

The Lions mostly need just a deep breath. Orlando have too much talent to be as bad as they’ve been recently. New head coach James O’Connor should provide the emotional reset – and tactical rigidity – the team has needed.

In terms of personnel, the lineup has been sorely missing a right back. Depending on how O’Connor wants to play, they may also need a left back. Regular left back Mohamed El-Munir only subbed on as a winger last game. But Orlando has already spent a lot of resources to assemble this team and they should focus on settling things within the locker room before they try to find new pieces.

Philadelphia Union

The statistical need is obvious, but the positional need isn’t. The Union are last in the East in goals scored. They create chances, they just don’t score them. Their center strikers, CJ Sapong and Corey Burke, only have two goals each. Their big offseason acquisition, winger David Accam, has zero goals and zero assists. It’s a horrible return from attacking players that should put their spots in doubt. But…

Accam scored 14 goals for the Fire last year, and 10 and 9 in the two years before that. Sapong banged home 16 last year. There isn’t anyone in the market at the Union’s price point that would be a better bet for success in MLS in coming weeks than Sapong and Accam.

The Union don’t need a new signing up top, they just need a lucky bounce. It takes one easy goal for an attacker to get his mojo back. The talent is there, they just need to find it again.

Portland Timbers

They’ve already been linked to one move in the upcoming window, with young Argentinian attacker Tomas Conechny said to be heading to Oregon this month. That makes sense, and has the potential to fill an obvious need (a young successor to Diego Valeri, who’s going to enter his mid-30s next year and whose minutes should start being managed).

A more obvious need is a young successor to Diego Chara, who’s also approaching his mid-30s and is indispensable. They have a high-ceiling, young box-to-box midfielder playing at T2 already in Eryk Williamson, though he’s maybe too much of a No. 8 and not enough of a No. 6. So I think they need to find themselves a destroyer to groom.

They should also listen to trade offers for Fanendo Adi.

Real Salt Lake

Nobody’s done a better job of getting answers from within than RSL, who started five Homegrown Players and brought in a sixth off the bench on Saturday night in their 2-0 win over Dallas. When you build high-level producers like that, you don’t have to go crazy when the transfer window opens.

So right now they don’t need a ton, especially since they also get roster answers via their USL team (Nick Besler, in particular, has filled in well at two spots). The overall structure and culture of the franchise means they’re in a good spot to sit tight here unless a can’t-miss prospect falls into their laps.

San Jose Earthquakes

They’ve attempted to address a series of needs by importing a series of players who have seriously underperformed across the backline, midfield and attack. Danny Hoesen’s been good (though he came off injured on Saturday), so there’s at least a silver lining. But he’s been the exception rather than the rule.

They’re trying to fix it early in the window, and have signed veteran CB Guram Kashia from Vitesse Arnhem. Having seen him play a little bit (he was Matt Miazga’s CB partner the past 18 months), I think he’ll be a good addition. I also think they need to add a left back, and need to rethink the goalkeeper position, and need to rethink central midfield, and need to… ok yeah, they’re a team with only two wins all year, and both are against Minnesota. So obviously there’s a lot of work to be done.

Seattle Sounders

They’ve already got one part of the solution coming in the form of Raul Ruidiaz, who really should help – you don’t score that many goals in Liga MX by accident.

He can’t be the only addition, though. Left back has been a constant issue, as has a lack of speed on the flanks. Plus the center-back depth chart, even with Roman Torres presumably returning soonish, is uninspiring and old.

What this team really needs, though, is to clear the books and start again this winter. Which is what I think will happen.

Sporting KC

How much did things change on Saturday night when Ike Opara limped off? I think that’s a damn near existential injury – Opara’s the irreplaceable man on that team, more than Tim Melia or Matt Besler or Graham Zusi or Roger Espinoza or Felipe Gutierrez or Johnny Russell or or or or… And if he’s really, really hurt, for a really long while, I wouldn’t be shocked to see Sporting kick over some stones in search of their own Rod Fanni-type six-month center-back solution.

But you’re not reading this to hear me say that. You’re reading this because you want me to tell you that SKC need to go out and find a No. 9 who will bang home goals. All due respect to Khiry Shelton and Diego Rubio, both of whom have had good moments, but… yup.

The current version of Sporting + a top-tier center forward = MLS Cup contender. Current version of Sporting + a top-tier center forward + a healthy Opara and Gutierrez = MLS Cup favorites, maybe?

Time for them to push their chips in.

Toronto FC

It’s been, well, not quite the season that Toronto had hoped. What they need is obvious – for players to get healthy. But it’s not clear when they will have their full allotment again. Or, more importantly, how sharp they will be when they return.

Victor Vazquez is suffering from a back injury, while Drew Moor and Chris Mavinga have long-term muscular injuries, ailments that tend to linger even when a player returns to the field.

TFC are suffering from the one thing that would destroy any team’s season, even the best of the best. Toronto’s real need is time, but it’ll be up to their competitors in the east to determine how much they will get.

Vancouver Whitecaps FC

It’s weird to watch a ‘Caps team that scores a ton but doesn’t really know how to defend. Part of this is just that they miss Tim Parker, but part of it is also that even when things are going well this team just changes so much, so often.

Remember Nosa? Remember when David Ousted got benched down the stretch for no reason? Remember Russell Teibert starting and playing well earlier this year? Remember the big contract Aly Ghazal got?

I don’t think they should sign or trade anyone. I think they should actually stick with the guys they’ve got and let them build chemistry, and give the overall team a chance to become greater than the sum of its parts. I don’t see a lack of talent when I look at the ‘Caps, I see a lack of cohesion and understanding of how to play together.

Obviously if a good young prospect falls into their laps, get him. Other than that, please stop tinkering.

(This is just a suggested backstory. I am totally fine with plotting with you to change something! I have left it very brief and vague by design. The biggest goal from this, is for Morgana to have a protégé. Because this is a wanted connection, please message me first before applying so we can talk about it :) )

Holly or “Lee” as her friends and family would refer to her, would describe her childhood as happy. It was simply her and her mother growing up in the beginning, but that wasn’t a problem. She at least had her mother’s attention all to herself during those years. Her mother was a succubus, and she learned that from an early age. There was a constant flow of men into her mother’s life, but none of them having a stable relationship with her. It was clear that it was never for money, simply for the feeding it gave her, as they lived in dilapidated apartments. She remembered two places of her childhood most. She was born in Tempe, Arizona and lived there until she was 6. Then, they moved east to a hick town, much smaller than Tempe called Buena Vista, Georgia. Her mother had gotten work at a farm. Some of her fondest memories growing up were there, picking berries or helping count change at the u-pick-em register.

It was in this town her mother met Holly’s stepfather. He was a soldier, stationed at nearby Fort Benning. He was a nice man, and took the two in. When Holly was 10, her mother and soon to be stepfather had a daughter together. Later that same year, her mother and stepfather married. This would be some of the best years of Holly’s life, not having to live in a run down one-bedroom apartment any more with her mother. This was when she realized the power of money. Despite the marriage, her mother still needed to feed, as her step-father was told about both her, and her mother’s species before they were ever married. But her step-father was comfortable enough to allow the extra marital affairs.

When she was 13, her family moved to Iceland, where her father was to be stationed for the time being. Holly would have to get used to the constant moving. It was about this time her parents had their second child, a little brother for Holly and her sister. At first, she was anxious about moving, not sure what it would be like to start over in a foreign country. She’d had to move when she was younger, but this seemed different. Holly discovered however, that she liked it. There was a thrill to go someplace new and exotic. She could be anyone she wanted at this new place. Holly developed a taste for travel after this, and although she loved how beautiful Iceland was, she was ready to go someplace new, even asking her step-father to try and get stationed someplace new, going so low as lying about being bullied at school. But nothing came of it. She began to resent her step-father for it but hid it well.

When it came to her powers, her mother forbade Holly from being sexually active. She would need to find another way, without a partner to feed. Luckily, she never had too much of a hunger for it at such a young age. But she was excited about the powers aspect of it and wanted badly to try them out. That too was forbidden by her mother, and she couldn’t really do much anyway, without a proper feeding. It was when she was 17 when she met another succubus. An elegant woman, who commanded the attention of whatever room she was in. She recalled the first time they met. She had been at a café, sipping her drink with a few of her friends. Both the males and females with her group were taken by the curvy redhead who was quietly reading her magazine at a nearby table. Holly could smell that sweet fragrance of pheromones, one that no human could produce. Holly knew that Morgana was of her species. After her friends had all left, Holly approached her. She had a feeling as though Morgana could see through her instantly, for everything she was. Both scared, and a succubus herself.

The two would meet up a few times later, whenever Holly felt lost or unsure of herself. Morgana seemed intrigued by her. Not many people had the guts to actually approach her, succubi or humans alike. When Holly brought up the idea of running away, to explore her powers without being looked down upon by her parents, Morgana seized the opportunity. She told her to simply “get rid of them”. Holly countered with reason. She would be an adult soon, free to do as she wished. But Morgana spoke from experience, saying that they deserved punishment for taking her early years of learning to be a succubus. She even offered to assist Holly in the deed. But Holly thought better of it.

At 20 Holly and her father had a fight. She was only still around to help look over her younger siblings. Perhaps she could be an influence on them and assist them in their journeys as supernatural. An influence she never had until meeting Morgana. The fight led to some harsh things being said form both her parents and Holly. She was tired of it all and felt so insecure about her abilities. And it was all her parents fault. She finally snapped and killed them both while her siblings were at school. She immediately asked Morgana for help. If there was one thing Morgana knew how to do, it was to dispose of a body. She made it seem like they bolted, the three of them. Holly would have to leave too. Her siblings left to be raised by someone else, a stranger. Morgana would also not be involved in Holly’s life after this event. The redhead explained that they should not be seen together, in case anything turned up about the murder. She gave her some advice and explained how Morgana survived as an orphaned 16-year-old succubus, and left the country for a new adventure.

Holly spent the next few years in Morocco, working as an escort. It was a way to feed and make good money. She was assaulted a few times, but thanks to Morgana’s advice, she had no issue in disposing of them. She traveled around some more in the years leading up to arriving at the institute. With a good amount of money in her pocket, she decided to go to school, at a place she wouldn’t be persecuted, and be free to continue using her powers.
