fc. bruna marquezine heir to the bloodroyal, (adopted) sole child of the lord and lady of house yronwood, wardens of the stone way. found as a child amongst a handful of survivors of a capsized ship from myr, the cause of the wreck went unknown but likely involved in the slave-trade. years prior to this lady yronwood had been a recluse for over a twelve months suffering through a hard pregnancy then horrible labour, and the child was sickly and small. the trueborn daughter of the bloodroyal lived for a year and a half, with barely anyone seeing her due to her poor health and weak disposition. after her death a mixture of grief, denial, compassion and now-lost parental love drove the lord and lady of house yronwood to take in the myrish orphan; a similar age and complexion to the child they had tragically lost — and raise her as their trueborn child, claim she was the once sickly babe, and raise her to believe just that. everyone would go on to believe that this was the truth and it was unquestioned. the name varra was already announced and so they were unable to change it in any way, whether they would have is unknown — in many was varra is one girl, who was sick but instead of perishing, flourished. it was & is ... tragic denial & a symbolic respect to their loss. and so the nameless became named, the myrish became dornish and the lost heir was reborn. though her origin is a lie, the family love and bond is real, (lady yronwood privately believing that her husband simply chose to believe that the death had never occurred and varra was their flesh). she has been raised as a dornishwoman since she was, at best guess, two years old, she is the heir to house yronwood and will be called bloodroyal one day. + addition, briefly af. a fiercely scholarly woman, she studied most the religions and main cultures of the known world. she became enamoured with the concept of blood magic, or the maegi, as her inherited family title is the bloodroyal. varra began to rigorously study & practice the craft and after several years became successful. her own blood is often the catalyst for the most vivid or visceral rituals or occurrences, compared to those outside of essos, varra's abilities are beyond minimal/almost negligible, but within westeros she is one of few and keeps it to herself.
