                “ who the fuck doesn’t like kittens? ”   a rhetorical question, spilling against her touch  ( he chooses not to oppose it, as if he were perfectly oblivious to it. Hidan is, after all, purposefully oblivious to many things. and propriety is certainly among them. )  as his lips move around each precisely-enunciated syllable. in truth, it’s sort of funny ( sort of entertaining ), the way Hyeon narrows down her objections to the singular, uniquepart that was, in fact, true in his statement. it's a hook that he only partially bites into.  ( rhetorical, you see. answering a question with a question is but a sleight of hand. )

instead of complying ( to the request, to the liquid heat of her gaze ), he snakes an arm around her, body petite and easily entrapped. Hidan chooses, for a long moment, to allow his hand to rest against her back, pressed between her shoulderblades. the moment stretches. he foregoes to blink, grin unwavering as if frozen in time. then slowly, deliberately, his hand wanders down the whole length of her spine, and he questions ( idly and without too much concern ), if the bird painted underneath shivers at his languid touch ( at the threat that he could, if he chose to, wring its long, pretty neck –– as he could, if he so chose to, wring hers ).

                “ . . .. you want more, do you? earn it. ”   

     a quiet, delicate laugh slipped past parted lips as the goddess curiously studied the man. long, dark hair swayed as she tilted her head, dark brow raised in question.   " everything else i can understand, but i must say that you liking kittens, of all things, is what surprises me. i would have thought them too temperamental for you, darling. "   a slender hand reached out, cupping his chin, her thumb curiously swiped over the silken flesh.   " but tell me more, please? "   sinful lips curled into a pout as she glanced up at him through her lashes.
