"Do I look stupid?" Asked one time too many - Birdee inwardly cringed at herself for letting her insecurities pass by her; for letting them known - but she couldn't help it. The ball made her feel incredibly out of her element, like she didn't know what to do with herself anymore. "Never mind - don't answer that. I look fine." She repeated that mantra inside her mind for a few more moments, before looking down at Henry. "I don't think I've ever seen you in a suit before, it's kind of weird. Not that you look - weird, you don't - it's just, weird. You've probably never seen me in a dress either, unless you count my Easter recital when I was five."

"Thanks again for looking after this dumbass overnight," Henry said, motioning to Betty the goat happily eating hay in the back of his truck. "I know she can be a handful. Hopefully she didn't get to any of your socks."

“Nicole I have to go! I’m going to be late I have a meeting with that writer please can you just grab birdee and relax so I can go! Unlike you I hate being late. Now, birds lunch is in the oven, it’ll beep and it’s done. Then she’ll need a nap. I’ll be back in a few hours Nik.” Brianna was running late, the one thing she absolutely hated to be. Perhaps her sister was to blame, or her daughters fussiness when it came to mom leaving, either one could’ve been to blame. As she managed to shove a few last minute things into her handbag the twin was out the door and hailing a cab to take her where she was supposed to have already been.
Exiting her cab her low heels kicked against the concrete thanking a man for holding the door for her as she tugged off the sleeves of her faux fur coat allowing for the hostess to take it. “I’m meeting a man, I believe his name his Henry as long as my contact didn’t confuse me too.” Brie giggled as she was led away into the dining room where she found herself looking back at certainly the most handsome man she’d ever seen. Extending her hand to meet his the rosy stained cheeks illuminated further as she shook his hand. “Hi, I’m Brianna, but everyone calls me brie so you can to.” The twin had a habit of being shy and awkward when she found herself immediately taken like this. “Yes, yeah Andrew explained you’re looking to write on women in wrestling. I hope I can help I mean I’ve got almost ten years of stories from my years on the Mats and honestly I hope they what you’re looking for.”
@blveedinghearts
Henry didn’t like to half arse anything. Part of the reason he’d made a success of himself was his work ethic. He treated every story, every novel like it might be the last one he ever produces, so he gives it his all. The book he had in development right now was set to follow the journey of a female wrestler. The highs, lows, betrayals and all that makes up that particular industry. The issue was that he didn’t know what it was like to actually compete for a wrestling company, let alone what it was like for a female wrestler. So he’d asked a contact of his to set up a netting between Henry and a woman who’s been around the block. He trusted that his contact would find someone and explain that Henry would like to speak to them about their experiences. Hopefully that would form a base for the writer to truly begin writing his story.
The meeting was set for midday at a nice restaurant in New York City. Henry was buying, which was only fair. The English author arrived early, always better to be that than late. He waited patiently. He hadn’t expected the woman he’d be meeting to be so so very stunning. Not just that but there was something about her that made his heart flutter in a way he’d never experienced before. However he managed to at least be somewhat professional in his introduction. He stood up from his seat, smile on his face as he offered a hand to her. “A pleasure to meet you, I’m Henry. I hope Andrew explained a little about why I was so eager to meet with you.”

Like many young female artists, Olivia Bennett has made a name for herself by writing scalding songs about her long list of exs, but who are these songs about specifically and how do we save Maxwell Harper from becoming her next victim?
Surprisingly, Max is far from the first celebrity Olivia has had her claws in. The popstar has been vocal about her past with Levi Astor (they’re not fans of each other) and she and Paris Maddox have a documented history as well as some leaked photos proving they were quite the pair at one point. But that’s not even close to the full list of Hollywood that have shared a bed with Olivia.
We did some digging and there are at least five more notable men in Olivia’s history that you probably don’t know about. First, Henry Graves. Henry has recently started making waves as one of the most talented up and coming actors but a few short years ago Olivia posted this photo of the two of them at a party in West Hollywood.
It’s the only photo that either pair shared of their potentially brief relationship and no one has really spotted the pair together since. Seems like Henry got out before it was too late.
There’s no photographic evidence but rumors that Olivia and Tyler West had a fling at one point started circulating a few weeks ago. We’re not entirely sure how long or how serious the pair were but our source claims that there has been no contact since they parted ways.
Next up, Olivia and Amar Serrano. Amar has more recently been linked with Birdee Addams but a little digging into his Instagram reveled a, since deleted, photo of Olivia with a caption making it very clear the two were an item. They have not been spotted together since and our source says they have no contact.
Perhaps Olivia was attempted to get a whole friends group under her belt with her next conquest. Quinton Harper and Olivia don’t appear to have been a “couple” according to insiders but the pair have definitely hooked up. Fans spotted the pair in Australia when Olivia was opening up for Kylie Blue on the 1989 World Tour so we’re going to go out on a limb and say it was more than just a little casual. Quinton is now dating Max’s younger sister, Mia, and we can’t help but wonder if either of them know about their history?
Last, but certainly not least, Simon Carlisle and Olivia we’re hot and heavy right up until she cheated on him with Max. The couple was actually kind of cute and Olivia posted several photos of the pair on her Instagram before she dropped him and removed all trace of Simon from her social medias.
So is Max just next in a long line of guys Olivia uses for musical inspiration before ditching for another person? Do we think he’s going to get a whole album to himself or just a handful of songs?

Henry's hands fidget in his pockets as he walks the long path that links the Holm farm to Birdee's residence, the crunch of his boots on dirt and gravel barely drowning out the cacophony of thoughts in his head. He wasn't unfamiliar with guilt; he'd felt its grip many times growing up when he'd acted out for reasons he couldn't explain or accidentally broken things in the antiques shop and then forced to endure the tired looks on his grandparents faces. But this time it was different. Rationally Henry knew Sebastian's death was not his fault, but he couldn't push away the little voice in the back of his head that told him it was. You should have checked in when you didn't see him in the field. When he didn't answer the door. You just left.
The thought is still making his stomach turn when Henry knocks on Birdee's door, rocking on his heels until she answers. It's then he realises he doesn't really have a reason to be here, he just started walking. Does he need an excuse? Shit. "Um hi," he greets when the door swings open. "I er, just came to check on ya."

"Knowing him - think he'd rather go full commando than get anything but lottery tickets." Her brother clung onto the hope that there was something better out there for them - better than their little farm, and their hoarding mother - and their father who hadn't spoken in years. Be damned if he worked for it, though - relied too hard on the bottle and his narrowing stroke of luck that kept him alive. It was hard enough on Birdee to care for their mother - to care for the junkpile she called her home, now; but him, too? When he was supposed to be the one stepping up? She picked at the fraying fabric of her gloves, a few paces away from Henry as he prepared to leave. "Yeah - I don't... heed the opinion of others much often - especially not other girls, but - I don't know. It's stupid - forget it."
"Yeah when she wants to be," Henry mused, casting his eyes to his truck, watching Betty munching away with not a care in the world. "Sorry 'bout your brother's boxers, she's got no manners I swear. But I guess now you know what to get him for Christmas." He turned to walk back to his truck, lifting the back of the tray and closing it, making sure the goat was secured before getting ready to leave; Birdee's comment stopping him before he opened the driver door. "Are you talkin' bout the group chat? That Tallulah girl?" @stigmvtas

"It's no problem - she's a sweet little gal," Birdee shoved her fingers through her hair, pushing it back from her forehead with a small grin and a nonchalant tone, eyes skipping over Betty to look over at Henry. "Nah - none mine, at least - chewed a hole right through my brother's boxers, though. Don't think he owns another pair." Her arms crossed over one another; lengthy fingerless gloves sewn from scraps found within her mother's clutter in place of a real jacket - despite how cold it'd been, skin prickling - "You don't think I was being unreasonable, last night - do you? Am I really a cunt?"

"Nah you look g-" Henry starts, finding himself abruptly cut off before he has the chance to finish. "Well okay then." He thumbs at the knot of his tie sitting at the base of his throat, becoming acutely aware of how constricting it feels as Birdee draws attention to his outfit. "Yeah it feels as weird as it looks trust me," he mumbles, pulling clumsily at the knot until it moves away from his neck - instantly relieved when it's sitting further down between his collarbones. "Doesn't help that it barely fits. I might rip m' pants if I bend over." He chuckles as he straightens his jacket but it proves to be futile as his broad shoulders just make the fabric move instantly again anyway. Screw it, whatever. "I think I must've missed that year, don't remember the dress," He jokes. "You don't look stupid by the way, ya know. Looks nice." @stigmvtas

Grief handled by the Prices is grief buried several feet deep, never to be spoken about again. Birdee's never been good at it - grieving - emotions held in the palms of her hands like a bird that's too far gone, and all she can do is cradle them close to her chest until its feathers stop quivering, until she can bury it inside a shoebox in the field outside her bedroom window. That's where all her feelings fled - across the field to the left - most corner of their farm, to the graves marking Buck and Jay; buried just as deep as them. She's nursing that grief - feathered bird now, an awkward - necked little thing whose chirps sound more like croaks; grieving for a man she barely knows, but has known of her entire life.
"Henry?" Her confusion is evident on her face - it's late enough into the evening that the rollers have already made a nest in her hair, the spitting image of her mother 30 years prior - a hoodie that still smells of smoke clinging to her shoulders and hanging down her knees. "M'fine -" Birdee's brows furrowed in confusion, before recognition takes hold in her gaze - eyes dropping down to his wet boots, then back up to his greening face. " - d'you want to come inside? I'm heating a kettle right now - it's cold outside. Tea might do you some good."
