It’s Fall, 2148 CE. The Ark, once a place of security and reliability, is dying, and no one knows. Jake Griffin, Senior Environmental Engineer and husband of Head of Medical Abby Griffin, has been floated and his daughter Clarke arrested and taken to the skybox. Rumors spread of why he was floated but nothing sticks. No one save those present know for sure, and if Abby does, she’s not talking. In other news, an illegal 15 year old was found at the Unity Day dance, having been hidden under the floor for the last 15 years with no one’s knowledge. Aurora Blake has been floated and the girl under the floor- Octavia- has been put in the skybox.

It’s September 13, 2149. The 100 chosen delinquents hit the ground with transmitter bracelets to see if the planet humanity one called home is habitable again, a hundred years ahead of schedule. They thought they were inheriting the Earth their ancestors had abandoned, the first and only humans in a hundred years.

Turns out they were wrong.

It’s September 25, 2149. The culling has happened, but too soon. Or perhaps just in time.  The life support systems are in the process of repair, genuine repair this time. The Ark will live. But the kids are left to survive earth with only Ark radio frequencies to help them.

It’s October 7, 2149. The plan was to blow up the bridge to prevent the mounting grounder attack. Instead, a white(ish) flag raised and out of the chaos, peace emerged in the form of Commander Lexa. Members of both sides lay dead and Lexa agrees to meet with Clarke and Bellamy to determine if blood had had enough blood.

It’s October 8, 2149. Peace is established. The Ark is safe again. The ground is safe for the kids for the first time.

Now what?

Inherited the Earth is a group verse for indie players of The 100 fandom. Open to both canon and oc characters, it follows the events of the first season up until the blowing up of the bridge. The two major changes to the storyline are: peace with the grounders instead of the finale battle of season 1, and the Ark being repaired and the adults not needing to come down. The kids are left on their own, in a time of (relative) peace to create their own society among the grounders.

Activity: This is a fun, easybreezy group. We’re not here to babysit you, but we do ask you try to be active or at the very least don’t fault others letting plots go on in your absence. There won’t be activity checks, but if we have interest from someone wanting your canon and you haven’t been active in a couple weeks or let us know what’s going on with you, we’ll replace you. It’s nothing personal, it’s just not fair to have a character on hold for someone who doesn’t seem to want to participate.

lou watched as a determined look spread over the blake girl’s face. she wondered what exactly octavia was thinking about. hearing her words she was surprised it was that. a smile spread over her lips as octavia suggested they go. “wait seriously?” she looked around as if someone was watching them. part of her thought it was some test but seeing no one else around she knew it wasn’t a test she could really go out. “yeah lets go.” the girl agreed before standing up ready to get out of this camp.

       she’s spent most of the day outside of the wall. exploring even more as if that was possible now that they have some sort of peace between themselves and the grounders whose land they’d crashed on. but the sun was beginning to go down and octavia had made the stupid mistake of returning for her pack inside her tent. now due to bellamy’s influence she’s organizing the fabrics they have left for lou to patch up what little clothing and blankets they have to prepare themselves for winter months that lincoln’s warned her about. as she enters the ship there’s a figure in the corner but she isn’t paying much attention. too annoyed that she’s being kept inside for the evening. octavia gathers the clothes and fabrics she can find scattered across the floor and hung up on different strings. they’ll all need to be washed out since the sickness ran rampant through their camp. “hey, there anymore of these over there?” she asks, emerald hues shifting, finally realizing the other is murphy.

“With peace does this mean we don’t need these anymore?” Octavia asks, twisting the white flower between two fingers absentmindedly as her other hand gently flips through pages of his journal. “Because I was taking a liking to the flowers.” She comments, a smile gracing her lips as emerald hues briefly lift off the pages to glance Lincoln’s way. Still, it’s unbelievable to her that days ago her camp was preparing for any sort of grounder attack and now the delinquents could freely ( within reason ) wander the forests. Their peace with the grounders is still fresh and not accepted by all, her brother included, but it’s a start. A step in the right direction at least, instead of a bunch of children staring down the barrel of a war they wouldn’t win. “What do you do now?” She questions, unable to stomp out the curiosity building inside of her. Since their ship crashed landed in the middle of the forest she imagines Lincoln’s life, along with others belonging to Trigedakru, hasn’t been normal. What do they do now that there isn’t an immediate threat of war looming over them like a black cloud?

How does your character feel about the peace with the grounders sky peeps? And would others readily know this?: All the Grounders know that Lincoln’s all, “but they didn't do anything maliciously.” He’s all for peace. But…he’s not dumb. He sees the way the sky peeps look at his people.

Short bio (mostly for oc characters but canons feel free to put a bio or expand on what’s known about your character. Or leave it blank, up to you): Uh…so, 100% canon. He harbors no immediate ill will toward the peeps from the drop ship, not even Bellamy. Though, Raven? Whew, that bitch is cray-cray with those wires. He understands being a PoW, knows that it’s all fair that they try to interrogate him for information as he was clearly spying. But, he wants peace, not a war. He’d rather they all learn to live together than to cause unnecessary bloodshed for either side. Plus, like…flutterby girl, yo. All these untainted sky peeps. I’m so tired. Is this even English still?

Or leave it blank, up to you): up on the ark octavia blake was the girl hidden underneath the floor with only her brother as any living relative once she was caught, but down on the ground she’s actively shedding that nickname and searching for a place she can call home. estatic about living freely on the ground with her brother and no longer under the control of the ark, octavia’s thriving in an environment with new people and places around her that she never grew up thinking she would see.

Short bio: since the grounders immediately attacked the kids, bellamy carries a pistol and a knife on his person at all times. “for hunting purposes,” he tells the others. he doesn’t think the peace will last. in his mind, it only takes one. only a select few knows about his weapons and his disbelief. clarke and octavia being two of those people.

How does your character feel about the peace with the grounders? And would others readily know this?: He’s VERY iffy about it due to the torture received from the grounders and most likely is very cynical about them, expecting it to turn around in the snap of his fingers.

Returned to the dropship camp after the torture, there is a certain anger curling around inside of him. However instead of going on with his plan to get revenge for the injustice done upon him, he stops before things get too bad. He’s learned to fit in again and wonder by wonder Bellamy ended up trusting him again. Through his wrong doings, he’s doing his best to fit in with the delinquent society once more. Where else is he to go after all?
