It’s Fall, 2148 CE. The Ark, once a place of security and reliability, is dying, and no one knows. Jake Griffin, Senior Environmental Engineer and husband of Head of Medical Abby Griffin, has been floated and his daughter Clarke arrested and taken to the skybox. Rumors spread of why he was floated but nothing sticks. No one save those present know for sure, and if Abby does, she’s not talking. In other news, an illegal 15 year old was found at the Unity Day dance, having been hidden under the floor for the last 15 years with no one’s knowledge. Aurora Blake has been floated and the girl under the floor- Octavia- has been put in the skybox.

It’s September 13, 2149. The 100 chosen delinquents hit the ground with transmitter bracelets to see if the planet humanity one called home is habitable again, a hundred years ahead of schedule. They thought they were inheriting the Earth their ancestors had abandoned, the first and only humans in a hundred years.

Turns out they were wrong.

It’s September 25, 2149. The culling has happened, but too soon. Or perhaps just in time.  The life support systems are in the process of repair, genuine repair this time. The Ark will live. But the kids are left to survive earth with only Ark radio frequencies to help them.

It’s October 7, 2149. The plan was to blow up the bridge to prevent the mounting grounder attack. Instead, a white(ish) flag raised and out of the chaos, peace emerged in the form of Commander Lexa. Members of both sides lay dead and Lexa agrees to meet with Clarke and Bellamy to determine if blood had had enough blood.

It’s October 8, 2149. Peace is established. The Ark is safe again. The ground is safe for the kids for the first time.

Now what?

Inherited the Earth is a group verse for indie players of The 100 fandom. Open to both canon and oc characters, it follows the events of the first season up until the blowing up of the bridge. The two major changes to the storyline are: peace with the grounders instead of the finale battle of season 1, and the Ark being repaired and the adults not needing to come down. The kids are left on their own, in a time of (relative) peace to create their own society among the grounders.

Activity: This is a fun, easybreezy group. We’re not here to babysit you, but we do ask you try to be active or at the very least don’t fault others letting plots go on in your absence. There won’t be activity checks, but if we have interest from someone wanting your canon and you haven’t been active in a couple weeks or let us know what’s going on with you, we’ll replace you. It’s nothing personal, it’s just not fair to have a character on hold for someone who doesn’t seem to want to participate.

lou watched as a determined look spread over the blake girl’s face. she wondered what exactly octavia was thinking about. hearing her words she was surprised it was that. a smile spread over her lips as octavia suggested they go. “wait seriously?” she looked around as if someone was watching them. part of her thought it was some test but seeing no one else around she knew it wasn’t a test she could really go out. “yeah lets go.” the girl agreed before standing up ready to get out of this camp.

       she’s spent most of the day outside of the wall. exploring even more as if that was possible now that they have some sort of peace between themselves and the grounders whose land they’d crashed on. but the sun was beginning to go down and octavia had made the stupid mistake of returning for her pack inside her tent. now due to bellamy’s influence she’s organizing the fabrics they have left for lou to patch up what little clothing and blankets they have to prepare themselves for winter months that lincoln’s warned her about. as she enters the ship there’s a figure in the corner but she isn’t paying much attention. too annoyed that she’s being kept inside for the evening. octavia gathers the clothes and fabrics she can find scattered across the floor and hung up on different strings. they’ll all need to be washed out since the sickness ran rampant through their camp. “hey, there anymore of these over there?” she asks, emerald hues shifting, finally realizing the other is murphy.

Demons flock to its center, murderers are locked behind gates, aliens are possibly seeking a foot down on earth and innocent people are sent to die. All while a serial killer rages on the outside killing women and threatening the safety of everyone around.

s r s LY THO.  @faultedleader / @wolfgiirl is amazing? srsly heather is just so sweet? i've adored her since the beginning and will continue to do so lmao. Whether she's on Arya or Bellamy idefc cause both muses are AMAZING.  And she plays both SUPERB. I love the brotp we got going with Bell and Murph too. “God I’m tired of doing this stupid small stuff that doesn’t matter.” Lou told Octavia looking down at the jacket she was patching up. “You’re all out there hunting, making walls, and keeping watch. Here I am saving the day by fixing holes in jackets and cleaning food.” She held out the jacket for Octavia to take. “I’m sure it’s not good for the babies safety to go give mbege back his jacket right? Who knows I might trip on a rock on the way there.” She wasn’t angry at Octavia but she was the closest person there she could snap on about any of this.

“With peace does this mean we don’t need these anymore?” Octavia asks, twisting the white flower between two fingers absentmindedly as her other hand gently flips through pages of his journal. “Because I was taking a liking to the flowers.” She comments, a smile gracing her lips as emerald hues briefly lift off the pages to glance Lincoln’s way. Still, it’s unbelievable to her that days ago her camp was preparing for any sort of grounder attack and now the delinquents could freely ( within reason ) wander the forests. Their peace with the grounders is still fresh and not accepted by all, her brother included, but it’s a start. A step in the right direction at least, instead of a bunch of children staring down the barrel of a war they wouldn’t win. “What do you do now?” She questions, unable to stomp out the curiosity building inside of her. Since their ship crashed landed in the middle of the forest she imagines Lincoln’s life, along with others belonging to Trigedakru, hasn’t been normal. What do they do now that there isn’t an immediate threat of war looming over them like a black cloud?

       it seems to be the theme for her. she spends all day outside the wall, exploring or learning from lincoln and then by the time the sun begins to set, like a child bellamy’s searching for her or sending someone else to drag her back. there still seems to be this them vs us and it’s beginning to gnaw at her as she sits on a log by the fire. octavia throws another piece of dead leaves towards the bright flames, replaying the conversation she’d overheard the previous day. none of this was going to work if clarke’s co-leader, her brother, couldn’t get on board with the idea that this peace could be real. he doesn’t trust them. even though he’d been the one to broker peace with lexa until clarke could be retrieved from camp. bellamy wasn’t about to lean closer to trust if there were people ( fox ) around him encouraging and agreeing that his mistrust was a welcomed worry. the younger brunette’s deep in thought, emerald hues zoning out on the fire when a break in a branch nearby draws her attention. gaze shifts, narrowing on the brunette she’d been thinking about. “can’t sleep?” she asks, though octavia really only wants to coax her closer in hopes of changing her mind. proving to her that peace was in the best interest of them all. especially since the adults ( the ones who’d deemed them expendable ) weren’’t coming down within the next foreseeable future.

   “y’know, the peace treaty means you don’t need that every time you leave the wall.” she comments, glancing towards his mostly concealed weapon. eyebrow raises in her brother’s direction as she hesitates a few feet away from him waiting for him to catch up. a huff leaves her lips. “c’mon bellamy, the longer you take the darker it’s going to get and i’m not going back to camp until you see this.” there’s a small shine of happiness in her emerald hues when she talks about the butterfly field. the one place she’s never encountered any trouble and saw for the first time just how wonderful the ground could be. she knows bellamy’s still skeptical. he’s not the only one. there are a few in camp that are hesitant to believe peace with the grounders would hold but octavia’s determined to prove them wrong. show them the beauty their lives could have if they simply give this a chance. starting with her big brother.

Peace. It was something she had been sure she would not find about but here they were. Everyone was doing something and they had a small hum of noise though it was peaceful. Still this was broken when Lou called out. “Holy shit- Fox! Hey Fox come over here quick you have to feel this.” She lit up as she took her friend’s hand. “The baby is kicking- here feel.” She moved Fox’s hand to her stomach.
