ganondorf did not know what to expect when he arrived in the city. by all regards he should be dying or DEAD - - or, or what? though on the surface he's cold, STATUESQUE, doubts ring within the hollows of his skull. the triforce / hyrule, both alien to his grasp — UNOBTAINABLE as far as he could tell, clawing towards the skies, stripped to his bones of his abilities. aye, if he's to set his plans in motion once more — he's to play nice, to explore and to learn, and YET …

yet … he feels it searing into his blood and threatening to tear his soul apart. bonded by fate, as the goddesses have DECREED, power weighed against courage. for a moment, a very long moment, he felt freedom from his immortal coil, seconds ticking into hours where the powers that came to be thousands of years ago did not have their HANDS upon his being. but he feels it now, suddenly, as if driven into his side by dagger blade, a connection with another —- HIS MIND IS WHELMED BY NOTHING ELSE BESIDES RAGE! would it be easy to ignore the hero's existence! live with his life and his sins! there's no need to fight! surely! yet, he's a puppet on a string, moved by the hand of demise, and what other choice does he have? his goals stripped away from him, his entire life without purpose.

he stands, facing the wretched ocean, brine and salt sparking the air before him. ganondorf snorts, bitter taste upon his tongue. footsteps approach, grass tossed underfoot, stepping stones clattering, he doesn't need to look to see who it is. IS THIS FATE OR IS THIS COINCIDENCE? an ear flicks, he touches a hand to his wooden sword, he does not strike. how wise of them to strip me BARE like this, he scoffs internally. though it all simmers beneath his bones, threatening to reject common sense, he shuts his eyes and feels against his skin, a sea BREEZE.
