“You shouldn’t make decisions for other people,” I said and he gave me a sad smile. “I know… but when it affects your magic I was willing to break you apart from them when not all of them were going to accept you easily,” he said and I sighed. 

It's why I couldn’t defend myself against Jake… also why my magic has been faltering recently. 

When a witch's soulmate bond is rejected… and fighting for the bond drains your magic. You can fix either by rejecting your mates back… or having them accept you. It's also why Wonyoung broke my bond temporarily… so my magic can temporarily regenerate. 

“You turned into a vampire?” I asked and he chuckled. “Not willingly… but I can live with it. My sister recommended that I go to Decelis. So im learning to come to terms with it” he said and I nodded. 

“You really do look pretty… you would have to be the prettiest person in the school” he said as he lifted his hand up to tuck my hair away. 

“Prettier than Sooha?” I asked and he chuckled. “Believe it or not, I've never loved Sooha. She was more like a sister to me… my own sister took care of me in this life. While I took care of Sooha in another… So I didn’t reject you to have Sooha… I would have to be a fool” he said and I was shocked. 

“Go to your party… you worked hard for it. They’re all waiting–" "But I chose your message, "I said, cutting him off. 

“Oh? I guess you did… It would be a bad example if the president of the student council of Bright Sun didn’t follow her own rules” he said and I chuckled. 

“Shall we?”

We arrived now with our masks on and I took everything in. 

I soon heard him chuckle beside me… “They’re all jealous and annoyed,” he said and I sighed. “They must be confused about who I chose?” I asked and he nodded. 

“They’d never guess me,” he said and I nodded… I looked at him, he was happy. He had a grin on his face… not so serious like other times. “Don’t worry your pretty little head, will you give me at least one dance?” he asked and I smiled and took his hand. 

I enjoyed my time with him… this was the Evan I knew. My best friend from elementary school graduated and I never heard of it again. 

“I wish you would let me choose my own path, you know,” I said as we swayed to the music. He smiled… “I know better than anyone… what rejecting mates does to a witch. You were fighting for the bond… and it was eating your magic” he said and he wasn’t wrong. I jeopardized myself… but they didn’t know that. 

“How do you know about that?” I asked and he sighed. “Let's just say my sister… she experienced it,” he said and I felt my eyes widen. 

“Don’t worry… she’s fine. Can I ask–” “We will be announcing our king and queen!” I heard Wonyoung’s voice. “Now we have included this year to not just include witches or any magic users only. So please be open-minded to one another and let us accept other species into our traditions” she said and I smiled. 

It was controversial but it was all fun and to be enjoyed. 

“Our king… is K from Riverfield!” she announced and I was shocked. K? I soon saw him join the stage… “And our queen… Sooha from Declis” she announced. What? Not everything was wrong– 

“EJ and Wonyoung are doing me a favor… Sunghoon can put aside his ego for this one time” Heeseung said. The King was voted most times for Sunghoon and the Queen was Wonyoung… So what was going on?

I looked back at them getting their crowns and smiling at each other… “They’ve accepted one another,”  said and he nodded. 

“K finally has some sense… and Sooha is finally thinking clearly,” he said and I chuckled. “Thank you… even though you tampered with my event” I said and he laughed. 

“I’m sorry, I'll make it up to you,” he said and I smirked. “Oh? Then I know how you can '' I said and he looked at me shocked. “We’re soulmates right, Evan?” I asked and he laughed.

“Yes, we’re soulmates y/n. I’m sorry for everything… but I'm willing to do anything for you. I promise my little witch” he said and I smiled. 

“y/n!!” I heard and I saw Sunoo and Jungwon. “You bastard! What'd you do to our soulmate!” Sunoo yelled and I laughed. 

“I chose his message… sorry boys,” I said and they pouted. 

“Yeah, so I won fair and square,” he said and Jungwon scoffed. “So did Sunghoon yet he’s drawing a punch right now,” he said and I laughed. 

“I owe him a dance,” I said and I was suddenly pulled back with the hands on my hips. 

“Sorry, but you’re mine tonight. I won you with my message… and I want to make up for all the time I’ve lost” he said and I nodded.

“Comfort Sunghoon please?” I asked the two boys and they nodded. 

“I’m guessing you guys are all made up?” I asked and he nodded.

it was in the middle of Manifesto tour where each of them had their own separate rooms. ivy was going mental and bored out of her mind so she decided to turn on a live.

someone commented about jay and jungwon being adorable cats.

“jungwon and jay are adorable. they’re like newborn kittens.” ivy reads off the comment. she hums.

“that’s true. they’re adorable but something irks me.”

there were a series of knocks and ivy singing ‘do you want to build a snowman’ outside of sunghoon’s door. it was late at night so ivy did it softly. after all, they finished their concert like an hour ago.

after jay opens the door, ivy joins the live and waves to the camera. jay and sunghoon went on about how tan jay looks compared to sunghoon.

“you look like a good fried chicken.” ivy says.

“what?”

“where is sunghoon?” she reads out loud. “he’s probably at the dorms. he finished his schedule for the day.”

“does sunghoon make you crazy? huh? you mean in what way?”

she skims through the various comments, “ah, mmm. you failed a test? I’m so sorry about that.”

“umm, even if you don’t succeed. just fail. studying isn’t everything. you can always try again!”

“and they are younger than ni-ki. I believe the average age is about 18.6.” jake continues. Ivy hums again before she processes what jake was truly saying then she practically whips her head over.

“I’m a sunbae??? THEY ARE HOW OLD??” she says in shock.

"Here ya go. Looks like a big order. Did something happen?"

"Unfortunately, yeah. So, Sir Alastor was in a good mood, and we went to eat at a restaurant in the circle, but the food was so inedible that Sir Alastor had to spit it out in public. Something, I've never seen him do honestly. Then after we bumped into the Vees and got into a bit of a scuffle with them. After making it back to the hotel, Sir got splashed with alcohol right in the face," you mutter, awkwardly laughing.

"Well, that's one hard day he had there. You gonna make him something then?" she asks flashing you her sharp teeth.

"Mhm! I was thinking of making hotpot or a casserole. He must be famished after such a tiring day," you smile.

You then hear the bell tower chiming then whipping your head to see the time.

"Well, that's my cue. I'll see you around Miss Rosie!" you called before leaping from building to building.

You arrive at Alastor's room where you hear the bathroom door close and hear the rushing water after. You nodded to yourself as you walked to the kitchen he conjured just for you and tied your hair back to prep your meal.

After leaving it on the stove with a timer on. You strolled back into the living room and picked up Alastor's drenched clothes into the laundry chute for you to deal later. Of course, not before you took his handkerchief and took a whiff of it. Eyes drawing into hearts that in delight.

Amidst your happiness, the handkerchief got tugged away and thrown into the chute along with the rest of them. Alastor stands behind you, still dripping with water from the bath. Chest bare-naked and red shorts around his waist, and his towel on top of his head as his hair stuck on his forehead.

"Come on now, if you wanted one you could have just asked, sweetheart," he says with a smirk before pinching your pouting face.

He turns away from you and sinks into his favorite chair with a drawled sigh. You compose yourself and slowly walked beside him after.

You pursed your lips and pouted, "You just don't understand the smell fresh from the source, Sir Alastor."

"Oh, believe me. I know the feeling," he chuckles, waving his hand as shadows appear under you and lifted you onto his lap. He embraces you and sniffs from your collar, as you stared at him with shaky heart filled eyes as he stares back with his half-lidded ones.

"I-I never knew you were this cheeky, Sir," you stutter under your breath nervously. Your hands on his chest while he purrs under you snuzzling closer and closer.

"There are many things you don't know yet," he mutters as he grazes your neck with his teeth then his eyes flicker from your neck to your eyes and asks, "Would you like to learn?"

the amount of men that surrounds you made your head spin, not liking the attention that you are receiving. it’s funny, really. this is your life, a normal process for a princess to go through, though you hate it.

marrying someone you don’t love? that sounds like a nightmare to you. you would rather stab a fork through your eyes.

as if he could hear your mind, a familiar voice halted one of the gentlemen that was talking to you, or trying to as your mind was somewhere else.

“princess yn, your mother is looking for you.”

turning around, a smile immediately was painted on your lips as the only person you’ve been thinking about is now in front of you.

“i see, thank you for informing me. if you all excuse us.” your hand took his, something you don’t really think about as if felt too natural for you to do, leaving the loud chaos behind.

he guided you out of the ballroom and into the empty hallway, though he stopped there all the sudden, just like deja vu. looking up at him with your doe eyes, you couldn’t help but blush at how he was still holding onto your hand. just like a puzzle piece.

your heart beats rapidly as it was now just the two of you. the hallway wasn’t very well lit as the lights on the printed walls were dimmed. though you could still see how beautiful the man’s face is. bambi eyes staring back at you, your lips parting as he leaned down closer to you before feeling his index finger touch the tip of your nose.

a giggle left your lips, shaking your head at him. “you know, you need to make a different excuse. they might catch on.”

heeseung just smiled, his white pearls on display. that damn smile that made you fall for him in the first place.

“hey, it works every time. besides, there were times it was true.” he shrugged, a smile remained on his face. rolling your eyes playfully, you shook your head a bit. though it was a bit dark, you still shined bright through heeseung’s eyes. you looked like a goddess to him, an angel that has fallen from the sky.

god he felt like he was falling deeper and deeper the longer he stares through your eyes.

he cleared his throat. “so, any gentleman that caught your eye? or interest you even a little bit?”

sighing, he felt you slip your hand off him, trying to ignore the slight ache in his heart. you shook your head, something he already predicted as every time he ask that question you would always say no. he knew how much you dislike these gatherings. everyone was the same. they would always talk about their assets and land, which is the least of your concerns.

okay. but, only you know the real reason you’re not interested in anyone. it’s because of the man in front of you. the man that makes your heart flutter whenever he is near you. thinking about him makes your heart melt already. he got you wrapped around his finger.

“pft. they all talk about the same things. it is making my head hurt.” you whine, crossing your arms before you began to walk further away from the entrance of the ballroom, heeseung following you.

heeseung watched you stop on your tracks, turning around with your heels to face him. “i want to marry for love, bambi.” the nickname caused his heart to skip a beat, feeling himself gulp harshly.

he took a step forward, now closer to you. looking up at him with your doe eyes, as the height difference between the two of you was significant, you couldn’t help but take his hand in yours. skinship wasn’t something new between the two of you, though every time you feel his skin touch yours, your stomach starts to flip.

“and you will find that, bunny. i will make sure of that. your happiness is my priority.” his voice sounded so heavenly in your ears. his hand squeezed yours softly, a soft smile appearing on his lips. the room started to feel a bit too warm for you. you were sure it was because of how close he was to you. the tip of your ears red as fire, and you were thankful the lights were dimmed in the hallway.

your lips parted as you stared up at the man in front of you, feeling as if he was putting a spell on you. he looks so surreal. a beautiful man with a kind personality, where else can you find that? he is a rare gem indeed.

"what if i'm interested in someone that might not feel the same?" the phrase blurted out of your mouth before you could even comprehend. you looked down for a moment, suddenly feeling intimidated by his gaze, not knowing where to look at. "will you do something about it?"

he looks down at you so softly, as if you’re a porcelain glass that he doesn’t want to break. all with care and love.

"i am sure i don't have to. loving you isn't hard, yn. any men can easily fall in love with you."

your eyes finally looked up to find his. you let out a soft giggle, tilting your head. “and how’d you know that? are you in love with me?” you jest, though your heart quickly palpitated.

it was silent for a bit, just hearing the chaos of the ballroom in the background. you could hear the musical instruments along with people’s laughter.

heeseung’s eyes shifted down to your lips, his hand gripping yours more securely, not wanting to let you go. that caused your breathing to become shallow, watching the man in front of you.

“i am.”

your eyes widened, blinking slowly. “huh?” your voice was quiet, feeling as if all oxygen started to disappear. your chest rises up much higher than before, your corset feeling tight as ever. gosh, you feel like you were about to faint.

you’ve known heeseung for the longest time. you two basically grew up together, and he would always tell you, ‘i exist to protect you.’ a phrase that never fails to make your heart flutter.

you don’t even remember the time that you started to develop feelings. perhaps you’ve liked him ever since you two met. a childhood crush that grew into something much more special.

you’ve never thought that he will be confessing to you. so now that he did, you didn’t know what to say. it felt like a dream.

heeseung’s eyes changed, now showing concern and worry. he could see the change in your state. “yn? you’re pale. are you okay?”

you couldn’t even say anything, your throat dry. what is wrong with you? the man in front of you just confessed and now you’re frozen?

suddenly you felt yourself being lifted, a soft noise coming out of your mouth. heeseung has lifted you up off your feet, walking out of the building and out towards the garden. you clung onto his neck, just staring at man. he gently sat you down the bench, looking at you so worriedly.

“do you need to be alone? some water? tell me how i can help.” he rambles, kneeling down on his knee so his eyes are the same level as yours.

you spoke before you could even think.

heeseung blinked, his thoughts all over his head at the moment. all he wanted to do was to make you feel better as he hates seeing you feel uncomfortable. all his years with you he has never seen you like this around his presence. so when you told him to hold you, he just did it.

he immediately wrapped his strong arms around your frame. he didn’t hesitate. that warmed your heart, and it immediately started to make you feel better. the way he held you so gently but firmly. you buried your face on his face, his scent filling your nose.

you felt his hand holding your head, caressing your hair softly. you could literally melt in his arms.

"i apologize." you mumbled, your voice vibrating against his silky tan skin, your lips basically on his neck. god, he wonders if you could hear how fast his heart was beating, as he could hear it from his own ears. his ears are much redder than the cherries he ate earlier with you.

"why are you apologizing? shouldn't i be the one apologizing? you must be feeling uncomfortable after my sudden confession." he whispered lowly, closing his eyes for a moment as he inhaled.

shaking your head, you softly pulled away from the hug, though your hands found his as soon as they dropped down. his face centimeters away from you, now staring back at him. a small smile appears on your lips as you admire his face.

"i'm not uncomfortable. you just made my heart flutter too much."

his brows raised, the corner of his lips lifting. "i did?" he sounded so innocent, his lips slightly pursed.

you giggled quietly, taking off one of your hands from one of his, your other remained on his other hand. your free hand touched his cheek, and gosh he felt like his heart was about to combust his chest. he couldn't help but lean into your touch.

"i mean, you always make my heart race faster than normal, but i guess your confession tripled that.”

he chuckled airily and placed his hand on top of yours that was on his cheek, pressing your skin closer to his. it’s like he couldn’t get enough of you, wanting you closer than ever.

“god. seeing the colors drain from your face frightened me. i thought you were going to faint.”

your heart melted. the fact that he always think about you before himself made you feel so loved and cared for. you are his world. his everything.

and it is true. heeseung would do anything for you. if he had to swim across the sea with millions of sharks swimming around or walk through a hot fire, he would do it, just for you. your happiness is his happiness.

you remember the first time heeseung got angry. it wasn’t towards you, but to a not-so-gentleman who disrespected you. his face was fuming with anger, and you never thought you’d see him like that. his voice would get deeper, though he remained calm, not wanting to make a scene. not in front of you at least. he didn’t like getting angry as he didn’t want to scare you off, but when the man kept pushing your buttons, he lost it.

that’s the first and last time you saw him like that. you would be lying if you said that didn’t make you blush. even when he’s angry, he looks very attractive. and he always does.

“what are you thinking about?” he snapped you out of your thoughts, finally getting up as his legs were starting to fall asleep from kneeling down in front of you. he sat beside you before taking your hands in his once again, warming them up.

you shook your head and let out a content sigh, looking at his eyes with a smile on your face.

he smiled back, tilting his head as a thought popped in his head. heeseung then chuckled to himself causing your brows to raise.

“what?”

you giggled and looked at him amusingly, giving both his hands a squeeze.

“it’s just, what if… what if i kiss you? would you be able to handle that?”

god. your cheeks have already been the warmest it could possibly be, but now it felt like it was on fire. your eyes widened, blinking slowly at the man who is admiring you so lovingly.

you couldn’t believe this is actually happening. it felt like a dream. a dream you wish you would never wake up from. you must have done something righteous in your past life that you are now getting blessed as a reward.

learning his face forward even closer to you, feeling yourself dazed, your lips parting at the small action. his eyes kept shifting between your lips and eyes, not being able to look away. he felt like he was under your spell, a good one that is, and he loved every second of it.

you took a very deep breath before gulping through your dry throat. you licked your lips for a second unknowingly, though that caused heeseung’s heart to drop down the pit of his stomach.

there was a moment of silence.

the two of you kept staring at one another, giving each other a look of adoration. both eyes speaking volumes. heeseung is your world, and you are heeseung’s. if reincarnation was indeed a real thing as many believed, he hope that he will be able to find you his next lifetime, so he can keep loving you. he belongs to you, and only you.

you slowly nod, your thumbs stroking the back of his hands.

your voice small and breathy. his hands let go of yours before they find their way to your cheeks, caressing it softly. his forehead pressed against yours, making your eyes flutter. his breath fan on your lips. soon enough, his lips pressed against yours.

this is your first kiss.

you felt yourself froze for a moment, not knowing what to do. heeseung can sense that, so he slowly pulled back, looking at you gently.

“just relax. let me guide you.” he whispered and stroked your cheek, patient and understanding. how could you not fall in love with him?

nodding shyly, you are now the one leaning forward first, making him smile softly. you pressed your lips back on his, kissing him slowly. his other hand went down to your waist while the other remained on your cheek.

his lips felt so soft and warm against yours. a secret you kept to yourself is how you always stare at his lips whenever he wasn’t looking at you, and now that his lips were on yours, it felt so surreal.

you pulled away slowly as you started to get out of breath, but your forehead remained rested on his, your eyes still closed.

“i’ve been dreaming about this you know, kissing you. i never would’ve thought it would happen so soon.”

a smile never left your lips, leaning back to look at him. his eyes looked down at your lips, which was now swollen and red, his thumb running over it.

“me neither.” you mumbled softly, feeling as if you were drunk. the presence of his lips still lingering, and you couldn’t help but stare at it.

you leaned once again and gave his lips a soft peck, keeping your lips on his for a bit longer, and as you were about to pulled back, heeseung’s hand held the back of your head, pulling you back to the kiss.

this time, the kiss felt more passionate, your hands clenching on the cloth of his coat while his hands find their way to your waist, pulling you closer as possible to him.

“let’s get married.” heeseung mumbled against your lips all the sudden, making you gasp. slowly pulling away from the kiss, his hands took yours, his eyes on you.

“i know this must me sudden, but all i want is to be with you, for the rest of my life. i want to take care of you, to protect you. i want to be there next to you when you wake up in the morning, as well as at night to hold you in your sleep. i want to be the one to comfort you when you feel down, i want to be the one to make you smile. i want to keep loving you, forever.”

your heart felt so full as you listened, your eyes full of warmth and love.

you smiled widely, stealing a kiss from him, startling him a bit. “i would love that.”

he grinned, his nose crunching a bit.

“you want to be with me forever?”

THE ROSE-TINTED GLASSES OF KE QIUYUN

O1. NEON NIGHTS / When she first joined the band, Qiuyun had grand dreams of rock and roll stardom. So maybe it wasn't going to be the idol career she wanted, but she could still make it work. These girls were going to be her best friends and they were going to perform music and wear cute outfits and be superstars. Then she met the rest of the band and realized almost immediately that things were not going to go that way. (She cried in the bathroom on her second day of work.)

Their relationship has since settled into an uneasy stalemate, kept alive by Eunbyul's half-baked attempts at mediation, Hwajung's refusal to ever admit she was wrong, and Qiuyun's recent departure from their Japanese promotions. They're never going to beat the coworker allegations.

O2. LEE TAEIN / Signing to Zenith Entertainment was a leap of faith she took because Taein recruited her personally. She thought it was because he saw something in her, something no one at JYP Entertainment cared to entertain. Not because she happened to be in the right place at the right time, or because she answered, "No, but I really want to learn" when he asked if she knew how to play the guitar. He got her into this mess, and he refuses to get her out of it.

She's counting the days until her contract expires.

O3. KANG HAKSU / Like the average Fable fan, Qiuyun was enamored by the idea of Haksu almost from the day he debuted. He seemed nice and funny and personable. When she first met him as a fellow Zenith Entertainment employee, it wasn't much different. He was nice enough. Maybe a little weird. Then she accidentally walked in on him and a few other Fable members just in time to hear him say, word-for-word, to Mingeun's face, "Every bad thing that's ever happened to our group has been your fault." Ouch.

She never saw him the same way after that. In fact, she never saw him much at all after that.

O4. LEE AERIN / As the band's manager, Aerin plays a very careful balancing game, somehow appeasing Hwajung and Yumi while also expressing sympathy towards Qiuyun and Eden. Qiuyun likes her regardless, because she finds it very hard not to like her. Aerin also likes Neon Nights as a whole, and in the beginning, Qiuyun was right by her side. There was nothing she wanted more than for all of them to get along, though the likelihood of that happening grew slimmer as the years passed.

If push truly comes to shove, Qiuyun is hopeful that Aerin will take her side.

O5. KE WEIDONG / From the day she passed her first idol audition, her father made it clear that if she ever wanted to return home, there would always be a place for her his startup. At the time, Qiuyun scoffed, thinking one, she'd never need it, and two, she didn't want to do that. Now, almost ten years later, she might have to take him up on the offer.

She hasn't said yes yet, but occasionally she fantasizes about corporate life.

O6. KIM SOOHA / Indie rock band Three Days A Week is supposed to be Neon Nights' biggest rival. That didn't stop Qiuyun from striking up a conversation with their front woman, Sooha, while at a festival performance. She doesn't see why they have to be rivals, anyway. All because the old Neon Nights line up split from the music club to form their own rock music club while they were in high school? That's ancient history, as far as Qiuyun is concerned.

Sooha is one of her good friends, but sometimes a small part of Qiuyun wonders if they could be more.

Sunoo - late night cuddles

I am currently in my Sunoo area and I dont think ill be leaving it anytime soon😘

Summary: Sunoo came home from long day of filming and he is exhausted. Meanwhile, you are at home preparing him a nice romantic bathtub and dinner so he can relax. Lets see what will happen.

8:30 P.M

Sunoo is walking home from the studio, he could've took Taxi but he wanted to get some fresh air. The sky was clear and he could see few starts shining miles away from him. The streets were empty and the only sound is the sound of stray cats walking around, Searching for food.

It took him exactly 30 minutes to get home, he stopped by the convenience store to buy himself cherry juice.

He stepped inside the apartment and took off his jacket and put it on the Jacket hanger, he took her shoes off and place them on the shoe placing thing. "Im home" he yelled softly while walking up the stairs and into your shared bedroom.

"Wait a bit! Im in the bathroom!" You yell and he just layed on the bed exhausted.

You filled the bathtub with warm water and dropped pink bath bomb in it to make it pretty, the bath bomb made the water turn pink. Then you lit up some candles and place them on the counter, you dimmed the lights down and put some skin care products on the mini table next to the bathtub along with the fluffiest towel you could find.

After that, You called Sunoo "baby, can you please come help me with something?" Sunoo raised his eyebrow before standing up amd walking to the bathroom "what do you-" he started but stopped when he saw you standing by the bathtub with smile on your face.

"Baby, what's all this?" He asked and you walked towards him "I figured you could relax a bit tonight..." You smile and pecked his lips, he smiled back and wrapped his arms around your waist then pressed his forehead against yours "I love you so much" he whispered before pecking your lips. "I love you too" you say softly and smiled at him.

He took off his clothes abd sat in the bathtub with a relaxed sigh "Oh my god..I needed this so much" he whispered as he leaned his head back and closed his eyes "im glad you like it" you say "can you come in?" He asked which mafe you smile even more "of course baby". Woth that, you slid off your clothes and joined him in the bathtub. You originally sat in front of him so the two of you had more space but he placed his hands on your waist and pulled you closer to him. You turned around so your back is pressed against his chest and the back of your head against his shoulder.

You both sat in the bathtub, talking, kissing, giggling and laughing. "Oh! I bought us matching face masks" you said exited and he smiled. You both put on your face masks and relaxed more.

Sunoo started telling you about his day and everything he did.

"Ni-ki and I are starting to get close again" he said and it made you smile "aww, thats so nice..I hope the fabs will leave him alone now" you said with a slight pout at the end "me too, He told me he was scared of fans reactions if we start interacting again....but now the fans are mad at Sooha so they want us together again" Sunoo explained and you nodded.

You stayed in the bathtub for few more minutes before you realized, the the water us getting cold so you both stepped out of the bathtub and wrapped yourselves in towels. You yook off your masks and made your way to the bedroom.

You both changed into sleep clothes and slide under the covers "come here" Sunoo said as he pulled you closer and nuzzled his nose into your neck which made you laugh "oh my god that tickles!!" You giggle and caressed his hair.

Sunoo wrapped his arms around your body and pulled you closer, taking in your scent and presence with his whole being. You just layed there and caresses his hair. Eventually, he started leaving soft mini kisses along your neck, jaw and collar bone, you leaned your head back against the pillow enjoying the feeling. Sunoo moved himself on top of you and pressed his body against yours completely laying on you. He slide his arms under your back and hug you tightly while kissing your cheeks, jaw and lips "your skin is so soft baby" he whispered before pressing a kiss on your lips, you just stayed silent and enjoyed every moment. Sunoo kissed your lips fully and you kissed him back, the kiss was very soft and loving but a bit lazy since you both were tired.

Sunoo gave you one last peck on the lips before moving down kiss to your chin, then down to your throat and then your collar bones again. You let out a soft moan and leaned your head back again, your hands find their way into Sunoo's hair as he continues to kiss and bite along your collar bones "baby.." you whisper "you like that?" He whispers back as he kiss his way to your other collar bone amd does the same thing he did to the first one. He left few hickeys and kiss his way to your shoulder then to your neck again, he started sucking and biting your neck softly, you tug on his hair a bit and moan "Sunoo" he moved to the other side of the neck and his hand slide in your hair and held the back of your head. He sucked on the skin of your neck and you could feel his tongue wetting the spot, it felt amazing. Sunoo then buried his nose in crock of your neck and you continue to caress his hair.

And with that, the two of you fell asleep.

We met in a Cruel Summer

It was the summer after high school when Y/n decided to go to her friend’s party only to involve herself with her school’s heartthrob, Kim Gyuvin.

A/N: This is the first story I wrote in a while so pls go easy on me sorry if it isn’t good and some things don’t make sense sorry

It was the first night of the summer, and Y/n was wearing a white long-sleeved collared shirt and black pants. She put on light makeup and then decided to make her way to her friend’s house for a party. She walked out and then went to the bus stop. While waiting she encountered her neighbor and IT boy at her school, Gyuvin. He had a promiscuous reputation, playing with girls, and things like that. He was at the top of his class every semester so his teachers couldn’t be bothered to involve themselves in high school drama. ‘I heard some nasty things about this dude from Seo-yun, it’s better to not get involved’ She thought, planning to avoid the boy. Much to her dismay, he decided to come up to her, sending her a smile that most girls swooned over. 

“Hey, Y/n!” He said as he came up to her. “Are you going to Seo-yun’s party too?” Gyuvin added. “Yeah, I actually am” She replied, not wanting to be rude to him. “Great, so am I, you wanna go together?” He asked her with a smile. “Yeah, sure. I don’t mind” She said, noticing he looked genuinely happy she didn’t wanna dishearten him by declining. “Great! Let’s go then” He said pointing to the bus that just arrived. They both got on the bus sitting next to each other then talking about random things. She found out he has a dog and he’s part of a dance studio called Yuehua.

They soon arrived at the bus stop near Seo-yun’s place and both went out of the bus. The walk there was silent but not awkward, Y/n took the chance to think about things, ‘Gyuvin seems like a polite person though, maybe Seo-yun was lying about it?’ She said while unintentionally staring at him. “You know, if you’re gonna stare at me the entire time might as well ask me out,” He said with a smirk on his face. “Jeez I was just looking at you for like a second and why would I wanna date you? I just met you” She replied, noticing the boy looking dejected. 

“Whatever let’s just go now.” It went silent and awkward for the two teens. They soon arrived at Seo-yun’s place. Knocking on the door then it opens, “Oh hey, Y/n- Woah Gyuvin you actually went?” Seo-yun asked in confusion while opening the door wider as a gesture to come in. “Yeah I mean I don’t have anything else to do so might as well.” He said letting himself in while grabbing Y/n’s hand to drag her along.

Seo-yun looked at the two suspiciously but ignored it and quickly dragged Y/n to where Sooha was waiting for them. “Girl- you got some explaining to do,” Seo-yun said to Y/n while she looked at them confusedly, “What do you mean?” After she said that she quickly realized what they meant. “First off, you came in here with THE Kim Gyuvin, Second, HE HELD YOUR HAND?” Sooha freaked out and looked disgusted. Y/n looked confused, “Listen, I only went with him because he offered to, and like- he just dragged me in? what’s wrong with it?” After Y/n said that Seo-yun made them go to a different room so they can discuss things more privately.

“We told you already okay, HE’S A FUCKING PLAYBOY HE’S JUST GONNA MANIPULATE YOUR FEELINGS LIKE HES DONE WITH ALMOST EVERYONE IN OUR SCHOOL” Seo-yun yelled out feeling frustrated, knowing she had some secret that she didn’t want to admit to her. “Can we just, enjoy the party? I don’t really wanna talk about this right now..” Y/n said nervously, trying to avoid the situation from spilling over. 

“Fine, but we’re talking about this tomorrow,” Seo-yun concluded then all of them went back to the main room. Gyuvin approached Y/n as soon as she left the room. “Hey Y/n do you wanna hang out with me for a bit?” He asked her confidently. She thought about it and noticed none of his friends he seemed to hang around him were there and she didn’t want to embarrass him. “Yeah sure, I’m free anyways.” She said hesitantly

“Great! let’s go then?” He said grabbing her wrist and then taking her to where the drinks and food were. He grabbed a bag of chips while realizing Y/n hasn’t gotten a drink or any food. “Y/n, are you not gonna get anything?” He asked her worriedly. “Nope, I already ate a bit before coming here.” She said.

“That’s good, but you should eat still,” He said. “Yeah, I will” She replied and realized that he isn’t as bad as Seo-yun and Sooha made him out to be. There weren’t many people at the party but the loud music made her cover her ears occasionally. Gyuvin noticed it and asked her “Is it too loud for you? Do you wanna stay on the balcony?” She was surprised he even noticed it.

“I mean only if you want to” She replied back, it got silent between them, the only thing being heard was the loud music blaring from the speakers and the conversations of those around them. “What are you waiting for? let’s go.” He said grabbing her hand again, ‘I swear this is like the 3rd time today’ She thought. 

They went up the stairs and soon reached the balcony. It wasn’t small and was fairly big for a balcony. It was empty except for the fake grass placed on the floor. Gyuvin sat down and Y/n followed soon after. He brought out a bag that literally came out of nowhere and brought out some more snacks. 

“You want some?” He asks Y/n, “I don’t mind” She replied back, getting a choco pie out of the mini bag he had. “How come you’re so nice to me even though we just met?” She asked curiously. “We’ve been classmates for a while and you seem so nice but you never talked to me, I haven’t found the chance to talk to you until today though” It’s true, the pair had been classmates since their freshman year and now they’re on their senior years and Y/n hadn’t approached him because of Seo-yun and Sooha, they always told her that he was a bad person.

“Wow, who knew we felt the same” She muttered under her breath hoping he wouldn’t hear her. “Then why didn’t you talk to me?” He asked her. She was contemplating telling him about Seo-yun and Sooha, “It’s because of Seo-yun and Sooha.” she ended up spilling it. “Huh? What do you mean?” He questioned her, bewildered since last he checked, Sooha and Seo-yun were completely fine with him.

“They think you’re a playboy and would just end up breaking my heart in the end so they never let me talk to you” She said quickly hoping he would change the topic already. “Well don’t listen to them, do what you want to do and if it is talking to me and being my friend then so be it. Just don’t give a fuck about what they think, live your own life, Y/n” He said with his signature smile on his face.

“So would you like to be friends?” She asked nervously, fidgeting with her fingers as she waited for his answer. He grabbed her hands and looked at her endearingly. “Obviously I would, who wouldn’t wanna be friends with you?”

She decided to change the topic so it wouldn’t be that awkward. “You dance right?” She asked him. “I told you on the bus, didn’t I?” He replied to her in a playful tone. “I was wondering if you could teach me kick it by nct 127, I love the choreography for that but I’m not really sure how to do it.” She asked him hesitantly since they were not that close yet. “Sure, I don’t mind. I already learned it a while back, Can I have your number? So we can meet up one of these days” He said bringing out his phone, She put in her number and then returned it to him.

She checked her phone and then realized it was already midnight. “Shoot, I don’t think I can catch a ride home” She panicked since she snuck out and simply couldn’t call her mom to pick her up. “I’ll call an uber, you live around the block yeah? I’ll just walk you home” He offered. “No, I can’t accept it. You’re being too nice.” She said back. “Nope, too late I already called it and we’re friends, right? Obviously, I have to make sure you’re safe.” Gyuvin said in a matter-of-fact tone. 

“Fine whatever, if you insist,” Y/n answered back. They both went down to wait outside for their uber. In the main room, it was nearly empty except for the passed-out Yiren and Minji on the couch, Y/n draped a blanket over the pair. Seeing Y/n be so caring towards her friends made Gyuvin moved by her kindness despite the fact they both tried to not make her friends with him.

“Y/n ! The uber’s here, let’s go” He said. Y/n followed Gyuvin out and they soon both got in the car. The drive back was silent and soon reached Gyuvin’s home. He paid the driver and he drove off. He followed his word and walked her back home. They both said their goodbyes and went off their own ways. Y/n tried to open the front door as quietly as possible and ended up succeeding in getting in without her parents noticing.

The duo soon got close as the weeks went by, without Y/n’s best friends knowing of course. She was now getting ready to meet Gyuvin at his house to hang out. She wore a hoodie with some leggings and a sling bag to keep her valuables. She soon heard his car pull up in front of her house. She soon finished applying her face powder and decided to go. It was a monday so her parents weren’t home. She soon got in the car.

“Hey Gyuvinnie !” She greeted him while putting on her seatbelt. “Yo Y/n, How are you?” He said. “I’m doing fine what about you?” She asked him. “Same here but I’m exhausted since I’m trying to improve my dancing skills” He replied back to her question. “Oh that’s nice.” She said while looking out the window. “Speaking of which, why did you take the bus that day? Why didn’t you just drive there yourself?” She asked, curiosity laced in her voice.

“I was grounded at that time so I couldn’t use the car so I just snuck out then took the bus.” He answered. “Then that makes two of us then !” Y/n said while smiling at him. He looked back at her then smiled back. 

It didn’t take long for him to arrive at his home and they both got out and Y/n was surprised on the size of his house. She hadn’t seen the entirety of it during the night of the party because it was dark out and she realized how rich Gyuvin was. “Damn, What the hell” She mumbled under her breath in shock. “Stop staring at my house and just go inside” He said grabbing her by her wrist which seemed to be a habit for him.

“Gyuvin are your parents home?” She asked, “Nope, they’re both out on a business trip” He said. “You wanna go to my practice room? You wanna learn kick it right?” He asked her while she followed him. “Oh yeah I almost forgot, Thanks for reminding me.” She replied back and they walked in his practice room. It looked like a practice room from a dance studio, crazy to think he’s that rich. 

“Okay let’s start” He walked over to the center of the room. “Let’s do some warmups first, shall we?” He offered. They did simple stretches and some exercises. He then brought out his phone then connected it to the speakers. “Do you want to watch the dance practice first or do you wanna go straight to it?” he asked. “I’ll just do it without watching the dance practice first” 

He played the music on his phone, She did well in the first chorus then started to get lost in the 1st verse since she hasn’t watched the dance practice in a while. ‘Shoot I just embarrassed myself, Oh my god he must think I’m terrible now’ She started to slow her movements then stopped altogether. Gyuvin noticed then stopped the music and went over to her.

“Are you okay Y/n?” He noticed that she forgot some parts of the choreography at the start then got nervous afterwards. “We can watch the dance practice first if you want? Then I’ll teach you how to do it” He offered. “Yes please I’m suffering right now” 

Gyuvin went out the room then came back with his laptop and placed it on the floor. She analyzed it and taking note of some parts she did wrong and got up after it ended. Gyuvin then went to Y/n and started showing her the steps for the first verse. 

“So first you move your arms in an inward motion then you move your right leg outwards” He said while demonstrating it. “You can do it separately first then try to do it together.” She started doing it then slowly got the hang of it. “Your making some progress already ! Let’s try first chorus + 1st verse with the music” He said happily

She noticed him looking so passionate while dancing and it made her admire him. She started to fall for him even before she befriended him, her encounters with him in the hallway, or even the way he smiles at her while giving back her test paper. Y/n fell for Gyuvin so hard, but he fell first.

Y/n was able to finish the 1st verse and decided to learn the full song (i dont wanna describe anything I am not a dancer) after practicing the full choreography at least 10 times not including the learning portion they both lay on the floor, exhausted.

“Hey, you wanna eat anything? I can cook some ramyeon if you want?” He asked her sitting up and Y/n following soon after. “Yeah sure, I’m starving right now.” They both got up and walked towards his kitchen, getting a pack of noodles on the way. While waiting they both decided to chat a bit about their hobbies, She found out Gyuvin wanted to be an idol but is unsure about it since it mean giving up his privacy. He also liked singing and playing games. He offered to play some smash bros in his room after eating and she agreed excitedly. 

They both ate silently then afterwards went to his room. He had a nice setup and a tv in his room too. He then set up his switch then booted up the game. He handed her a controller and opened the game. He chose Joker as his character and I chose Bayonetta. 

Y/n was on a losing streak so she tackled Gyuvin to distract him then ended up winning. “Y/nnn That’s just cheating” He pouted then decided to change the game to mario kart. They both chose their characters then played as normal. Y/n ended up winning a lot surprisingly so Gyuvin got revenge. While she was in 1st place he started tickling her. “STOP- hah- PLEASE-” She started saying while in a fit of laughter.

They both didn’t win because they ended up forgetting about the game and ended up fighting each other. After a while they both just laid on the floor looking at the ceiling. “Gyuvinnie, have you decided on what career you wanna do besides being an idol?” She asked him while still looking up. “Not really, being an idol is really what’s on my mind right now. What about you Y/n?” He said while turning his head to look at her. 

“I don’t really have anything in mind but maybe I’ll try to think about it more.” She replied and looked back at him. “You can be a dancer you know? With proper training you can be a great dancer” He suggested. “Hmm.. I’ll think about it when the time comes.” She was considering it ever since Gyuvin started to teach her how to dance kick it.

She got up and started looking for her bag. “Gyuvin, I’ll go now so my parents won’t worry.” She said while reaching her hand for the door knob, before she could twist it open a much bigger hand went on top of her’s and she turned around to see Gyuvin behind her. “Wait can you stay for a bit more Y/n?” he asked her. “ 

“Gyuvinnie, I can’t you know? I still have to do chor-” She got cut off by Gyuvin grabbing her shoulders then pinning her to the wall. ‘huh?’ she was confused and flustered. She started blushing furiously, “Yah, Gyuvin what are you doing? T-This isn’t funny you know...” She said nervously. 

“Y/n... Ever since you introduced yourself in our freshman class, I had a crush on you. The way you were so nice to everyone to the way your eyes would shine when you answered a question in english. That night of the party made me fall for you more, I’m sorry if I made things awkward its fine if you don’t-” 

Before he could complete his sentence, Y/n grabbed his collar then pulled him down so his lips could meet hers. He was caught off guard but after a few moments he kissed back. His lips moved perfectly against hers as he grabbed her waist to deepen it. In response she moved her arms to wrap around his neck.

They both pulled away panting and stayed in each other’s hold for awhile. Gyuvin grabbed her wrist then dragged her to his bed then hugged her. They both stayed like that for awhile until Y/n pops the question. “Gyuvin, what are we exactly?” She asks while sitting up, Gyuvin sits up too while he reached his hand out to cup her cheek. “We can be anything you wanna be, Y/n” He says endearingly while Y/n pulls him into another hug.

“Then I wanna be your girlfriend” She replies quickly. “I will but only if I’ll be your boyfriend” He says with a smirk. They ended up cuddling and falling asleep together.

The next morning Y/n woke up and tried to sit up but Gyuvin’s arm was tightly wrapped around her waist. She realized that she was still in Gyuvin’s house and she never went home. “Oh shoot” She said louder than intended and ended waking Gyuvin up. “What is it Y/n?” He asked while rubbing his eyes. “My parents are gonna kill me.” She said while looking for her bag where she kept her phone. 

“I’ll just take you there, just say you had an impromptu sleepover with Yiren or something?” He suggested. “That’s a good idea but they still might get mad but not as much” She replied, getting out of the bed and fixing her hoodie, While doing that she noticed Gyuvin spacing out and found herself staring at his dark brown irises, even though they were in a darker hue, she liked the way it shined when he does something he loved. 

“Y/n, if you keep staring might as well compliment me already” He says with impatience laced in his voice. “Well sorry, your eyes are just pretty thats why” He blushes at the compliment but regains his composure. “Well they’re pretty because you see your own reflection in them~” He flirts back, while Y/n blushes a bit. “Y-Yah can I go home now” She asks still kind of flustered by what he said earlier.

“Fine, let’s go” Gyuvin said, reaching for her hand as they went out of his room. They continued this until she went home and when she reached her front door, before Gyuvin left Y/n hugged him then asked him to text her later. 

Her parents arrived in the night then Y/n just explained that her and Yiren had a surprise sleepover and they just took her word for it.

It’s been a month since Y/n and Gyuvin started dating, they went on a few dates here and there but for their monthsary, he decided to ask her out to an amusement park nearby. She accepted, eager to meet up with her boyfriend once more. 

She was once again getting ready, she put on a simple crop top (if ur uncomfy just imagine any top) and baggy jeans. She wanted to wear something special but since they’re going in an amusement parks she had little options.

She decided to not put on makeup since it would most likely get ruined when she goes on the rides. Gyuvin told her beforehand that he wanted to take the bus instead of driving there and she just agreed since it really reminded her when they first met. “Y/nnn hurry upp” She heard Gyuvin saying it impatiently while knocking. “Wait-“ she says hurriedly as she got her bag and went down the stairs to answer the door.

“Hey Y/n, you ready to go?” He asks her. “Hi Gyuvinnie, yeah I am, let’s goo” She says excitedly and reaches to hold his hand. He noticed her trying to subtly reach out her hand and held her hand first. They continued on like this as they went over to the bus stop. She was currently rambling about a group that she was currently fixated on.

“Yeah like- Ciipher is an amazing group it’s just that rain sucks-“ She continued ranting about Ciipher until the bus arrived. Gyuvin wasn’t interested on the group itself, sure it intrigued him but all he could focus on was the way your eyes reflected off the sunlight giving a bright and youthful aura. The way some of your hair strands stood up, even though it may just appear messy on everyone else’s eye but to him, it’s what made her stood out from others in her school. She was the only one who didn’t attempt to hit on him or pursue him. Hell at one point Yiren tried asking him out but that didn’t work out.

After awhile she soon got tired then tried to sleep, Gyuvin noticed and put her head on his shoulder. It remained like this throughout the whole way there.

When the bus driver stopped to announce the stop, Gyuvin woke her up by shaking her lightly. She didn’t wake up, so he just slapped her lmao. 

“What the hell gyuvin” Y/n was rubbing her arm while glaring at Gyuvin. “What? You wouldn’t wake up, let’s get off now idiot.” He said then holding her hand and dragging her out of the bus.

They walked a bit before they reached the amusement park then went through the entrance fees and lines. It was quick since they went on a week day. Y/n held Gyuvin’s hand and pointed at a big rollercoaster then looked at back at him with pleading eyes. 

“Gyuvinnn can we ride that first” She begged. “Sure let’s go” He agreed and then went there with her. They soon after started lining up for the ride. It wasn’t long and they soon got to the front of the line, “Y/n, I dare you to ride in the front row” He said with a smirk, “Fine, but only if you do too” Y/n responded.

They both got on the ride and Y/n broke her composure and started looking around nervously. She fumbled with the seat belt, struggling to put it on. Gyuvin noticed it then reached his hand out to help her put it on. 

The ride went smoothly afterwards besides the loops and drops. As the ride came to a stop, the couple got off slowly while holding onto eachother for support.

"Never again." Gyuvin stated as he draped his arm over Y/n's shoulder for support. "I regret ever suggesting that" Y/n said as she tried to support herself by doing the same thing Gyuvin was doing.

After 10 minutes of walking around the couple soon found a food stall they wanted to buy from. Y/n went to go find a seat for the two of them and Gyuvin went to buy food.

She was scrolling through instagram and felt a tap on her shoulder. She looked up and saw Seo-yun and Sooha. "Oh hey Y/n I thought my eyes were deceiving me" Yiren said rubbing her eyes. "What are you doing here in the first place?"Aisha asked.

"Oh I'm just- waiting for a friend ! That's all" She lied and voice cracked at the end. "Do you want us to wait with you?" Seo-yun asked her. "NOOO- I mean no, you guys can go on about your day, pretend you never saw me" She spoke quickly, trying to end the conversation. "Whatever you say Y/n... Just text us if they don’t come okay !" Seo-yun said while dragging Sooha away.

As soon as the two left, Gyuvin arrived with a tray of food. "I'm sorry if I took long, the line was super long" He apologized profusely. "It's okay Gyuvinnie I didn't wait long, let's eat now" She said while grabbing her utensils and handed the other set to Gyuvin.

"I saw Yiren and Aisha awhile ago." Y/n said and she noticed that Gyuvin tensed up. "Are they still here? What did they say?" He asked. "They just asked me what I was doing here, I said I was waiting for a friend and they just let me be after I told them to. I'm not sure whether or not their still here though" She replied back.

"Well, are you still comfortable with me holding your hand or hugging you?" He asked her. "I am fine with it still, I know physical affection is your whole thing and I don't wanna ruin that..." She replied back while she reached her hand out to hold his hand and she smiled at him. 

“But I still want to be careful since I don’t know if they’re still here..." Y/n stated as she looked down. Gyuvin noticed her nervous state then brought his hands to her face then started to squish her cheeks. "Forget about them for today, this day is about us right?" He said to her with a smile.

She soon felt comforted seeing his smile and they both decided to go find games as soon as they finished eating. They walked around hand-in-hand in the park. The pair soon reached the area where the games are located.

Y/n saw a white stuffed bunny and ran towards that stall and waited in line. It was soon their turn to play and Y/n tried aiming the rifle at the bunny. She was unsuccessful in her 2 tries. Gyuvin offered to try for the last attempt and ended up winning her the plush.

After the employee handed it to them Y/n quickly hugged the bunny and wouldn't let go of it. "So what are you gonna name it?" He asked. "I'm gonna name him Vinie !" Y/n said after putting the bunny on top of her head. "why would you name it that though?" Gyuvin asked curiously. "Because the bunny reminds me of you."

It soon turned night and the pair was exhausted after the long day of just going on rides, playing games and walking around. Before leaving they decided to go on the ferris wheel for last. As they enter the gondola everything went silent. Right before the gondolas reached the top, Gyuvin spoke up. “I love you, Y/n” He said while staring at her. Y/n was surprised by his sudden confession, nonetheless she replied. “I love you too Gyuvin”.

As she said that Gyuvin leaned forward then grabbed Y/n’s collar then pressed his lips against her’s. She felt butterflies in her stomach, She kissed back as their lips moved in sync. The kiss ended soon after since they realized the ride would end soon. Y/n was blushing furiously and was fidgeting with her fingers for the remainder of the ride.

When they got off Y/n was quiet the entire time. She was still in shock from the previous events, Gyuvin holding her hand brought her back from her thoughts. “Are you okay? Sorry if I made you uncomfortable” He said while rubbing his thumb over her hand. She looked back at him and spoke, “No it’s nothing I’m just- flustered? I guess...” He got what she was trying to say then hugged her for comfort.

“You wanna go?” “Can we take the train this time?” She asked him. “Yeah, I’m fine with anything as long as your here.”

A week passed by and the start of their school year was nearing. Y//n decided to ask Gyuvin out on a date 2 weeks before school. They both met up in a cafe and ordered coffee and cinnamon rolls. They were both talking to each other and their coffee arrived soon after.“Did you hear about the new update they announced for genshin?” As Y/n brought up a conversation the bell on the cafe door chimed and she widened her eyes seeing who just walked through it.

“What the hell Y/n.” Seo-yun said while looking at Gyuvin and Y/n who intertwined their hands. “What are you doing.” Sooha spoke up and dragged the two to stand up. “We’re on a date. What else does it look like?” Gyuvin said with a snarky tone and tried hiding Y/n behind him. “Y/n after all that we told you... YOU STILL DATED THIS ASSHOLE?” Seo-yun yelled out grabbing Y/n’s wrist then dragging her out the cafe, Sooha tagging along and Gyuvin stayed in the cafe in shock. 

“SEO-YUN WHAT IS YOUR PROBLEM” Y/n yelled out while Seo-yun released her wrist from her grasp.“MY PROBLEM IS THAT YOUR DATING GYUVIN”Seo-yun was furious. Anyone could tell and a few people on the street started looking in their direction “AND? I CAN DATE WHOEVER YOU WANT ITS MY LIFE” Y/n replied back. “NOT IF THAT PERSON YOUR DATING IS MY CRUSH” Seo-yun’s reply confused Y/n “What? What do you mean” She said. “I MADE UP ALL THOSE THINGS ABOUT HIM SO YOU CAN STAY AWAY BUT NO- YOU STILL DECIDED TO WHORE YOURSELF OUT TO HIM” Seo-yun yelled out while approaching Y/n. “

I DIDNT EVEN TALK TO HIM FIRST, HE APPROACHED ME SO WHAT? YOU THINK YOU CAN JUST INSULT ME LIKE THAT” “I WOULDNT HAVE INSULTED YOU IF YOU BROKE UP WITH HIM ALREADY” The air around them was starting to get heated, some of the bystanders left, realizing it was a personal matter.

“I- I thought we were friends” Y/n’s voice started to die down as her vision got clouded with tears. “WE ARE ITS JUST THAT YOU DECIDED TO GO FOR SOMEONE I HAD A CRUSH ON. NOW BREAK UP WITH HIM OR OUR FRIENDSHIP IS OVER.” Seo-yun yelled out one final time before turning her back on her and leaving along with Sooha.

As soon as Y/n got home she burst out in tears. She went straight to her room then cried more into her pillow. She soon fell asleep for a few hours. She woke up and got her phone and texted Gyuvin.

She heard her phone ring then declined the call. She went to message her friends that she already broke up with him. Y/n started to regret her decision but she knew it was too late to take it back. Seo-yun and Sooha were her only friends and they’ve been really close since childhood and she didn’t wanna ruin her friendship because Seo-yun had a crush on her now ex-boyfriend.

It was the start of the school year and Y/n was classmates with Seo-yun and Sooha again. Everything went smoothly in their friendship after the breakup but deep down Y/n still knew she liked Gyuvin, but she didn’t want Seo-yun to get mad at her. 

As she was talking in the classroom with Seo-yun and Sooha she noticed Gyuvin staring at her from the corner of her eye.

The bell rang and the trio went to their respective seats. Their classes ended quicker that they thought and Y/n was spacing out after the bell rang and was left sitting at her seat.

“Y/nnn Are you coming??” Sooha said, breaking Y/n out of her trance. The 3 soon went to the cafeteria and while they were eating all Y/n could think of was Gyuvin. She missed him. She regrets breaking up with him but she doesn’t wanna lose her life-long friend either.

Y/n soon felt a tap on her shoulder, She looked back and saw Gyuvin. “We need to talk. Now.” He said while grabbing her shoulder and taking her to an empty classroom. “Uhm Hi?” She said out of nervousness and confusion. “Why did you break up with me” Gyuvin asked while unintentionally pinning her against the wall by her shoulders.

“I- I just fell out of love you know” Y/n tried lying her way out of this, She feels like she can’t hold her tears anymore. “You’re lying.” He replied back firmly. “It’s true” She said while trying not to let the tears spill out but it was unsuccessful. She ended up letting it all out. “Stop lying already” “I- I’m not” She tried to stop her hiccups from being to obvious but her efforts were futile.

“If you weren’t lying then you wouldn’t be crying right now” He said while bringing her in for a hug. Oh how Y/n missed this, she felt like she could melt right now but she still had to remember. They aren’t even together anymore.

“I still love you but we just- can’t be together” Y/n said trying not to break down. “And why not? Is this because of your friends?” He asked her patting her back while trying not to cry also. “It’s not! We just aren’t meant to be together.” She said. “We both still clearly love each other, you’re just torturing me at this point, there’s nothing stopping us from being together” Gyuvin said slowly losing his calm composure. “I love you, but I just can’t be with you. You deserve better, like Seo-yun or something” She spoke, she backed up and went to reach for the door but then she looked back and saw Gyuvin’s tear stricken face.

“But if you love me then why did you leave?”

I chose a card… I knew it wasn't from Niki, Jake, nor Jungwon. But it had to be from Jay or Sunoo most likely from Sunoo since he was the romantic. I hate that I knew some of them. But the message won me over.

When we first met I felt drawn to love at first sight.  I loved you then and I love you now, I’ll always be there to lift you up even if you don't want me there. I want to be the only one to cherish and love you. To die and live for you and only you. So I can only dream you would do that for me. 

The masquerade was in a week and I couldn't wait. 

“Hello, lovely soulmate!” I heard as I saw Jake. “A rose for you” he said and I smiled. All of them were on a mission to have me choose them. “How kind of you” I said and he smiled as he kissed my hand. 

“You're trying too hard” I heard as I saw Sunghoon and Jake groaned. “Dude go away!” Jake said and Sunghoon rolled his eyes.

“y/n come on let's get away from this freak!” he said and Jake looped his arm around me. “Where are we going then?” he challenged and the two glared at each other. 

“Both of you are pathetic, did you forget you had a meeting with Wonyoung? Jake, you also have a meeting with the treasurers” Jungwon said and they groaned. 

“Bye y/nnie!” they yelled. 

“How are you doing my love?” he asked and I smiled. “Good and you, Wonnie?” I asked and he smiled as he put his arms around my waist and kissed my forehead. “Better when I'm around you, this masquerade thing is a lot of work,” he said and I nodded as I hugged him back.

“I know but it'll be fun, '' I said and he chuckled. “It'll be fun if you choose me,” he said and I smiled. “Even if I don't won't you save me a dance?” I asked and he nodded. “Even if you don't, I'll steal you away,” he said, making me chuckle.

“Love birds, ugh” I heard and saw Wonyoung gagging. 

“Back to work for both of you!”

“We are not changing colors,” Jungwon said. Riverfield and Decelis had similar colors which led to an argument between councils.

“Those are our colors, you guys can choose black and gray like the colors of your ancestors!” Taki suggested even if it was a joke it made me scoff. 

“Blue and Gold don't even suit Decelis'” K said and I rolled my eyes. He was getting on my nerves… while my naive mate that I rejected didn't believe that he had a crush on her I do. His thoughts were annoying and filled with envy… whilst my oblivious princess was stupid enough to beg for his hand. 

“Why don't we just choose a color, we can have gold and you guys blue?” Jungwon tried reasoning and whilst EJ nodded– “No” K interrupted. “K it's a good compromise–” “Those are our colors, why should we let the vampires have that?” he said stubbornly. “But gray and black aren't even our colors either, '' Sooha pouted. 

“I think it's a good compromise, we can do navy blue,'' EJ suggested. “We could go gold and white,” Jungwon said and they agreed. 

K however didn't let his thoughts go…

The meeting was dismissed when they finally left our council room. “Why did it matter so much?” Sooha asked. “We are rivals,” Jake suggested. “It's also a school’s pride,” Jungwon added. 

“So how’s the soulmate thing going for you guys?” Sooha asks and I sometimes wish she would shut up.

“She’s amazing! Tomorrow we're going to the city where she wants to show me another witch spot” Jake said and I refrained from scoffing. He made it a habit to eat with her… for some reason, it helped him with control.

“Ooh! I wanna go!” Sunoo said with a grin. He accepted her second and he was completely whipped for her.

“You need to be event planning” Jungwon scolded… the first one to be accepted by her.

“Don’t you think you’ve made a big enough enemy out of Wonyoung? You're constantly stealing her away” Sunghoon said… someone who used her, but for some reason she forgave him. 

“He has nothing else better to do” Jay joked… he wasn’t even romantically involved with her… yet Despite his wishes for it going slow and starting off as platonic was getting more and more romantically interested as he saw how her other soulmates kiss and dote on her. 

“He should be helping me with the Decelis final game,” Niki said… another one who first accepted her, and went against me but fixed their relationship. 

“I'm jealous… you guys look so happy with her. K still hasn't accepted me… and she doesn't want anything to do with me” Sooha said and they all sighed. Thoughts running around about K and how he had to get his act together which I agreed with. 

“At this point why not go with Heeseung?” Sunoo suggested and I refrained from glaring or scoffing. Sooha looked at me with sad eyes and I tried my best to give her a genuine smile. 

“Will you?” she asked and I wanted to say no… “Sure”

I was making it my way to her to deliver papers when I overheard voices. 

“Yeah, so Jungwon and EJ agreed that we keep our colors and they’ll–” “They agreed to split up the colors, we didn't agree on keeping black and red” I interrupted as I opened the door. 

I noticed her confused expression while looking at K for confirmation. Innocent and naive… 

“K?” she asked and he turned his attention to her and smiled softly. “We really did. Don’t tell me you believe him or me?” he asked and I scoffed. 

She looked at me confused… 

“I just don’t understand…” she said. “EJ and Jungwon both agreed to split up the colors, they'd get navy blue and we’d get gold and white,” I said and K shook his head. “We agreed Declis would have vampire colors, black and red,” K said, completely lying. 

“But Declis doesn't use red or black?” she asked now confused but looking at K for confirmation. “It's the colors of vampires–” “He’s a liar, I understand not to believe me but ask Jungwon yourself or any of your soulmates,” I said and she looked at K. 

“K… are you lying to me? Do I have to go to EJ?” she asked in a soft tone and he sighed. “You understand right? Bright Sun’s colors are gold and orange, it classifies too much” he tried saying and she looked at me confused. 

“I just don't understand why you'd lie?” she asked and he scoffed.

“You really believe him? The same vampire who rejected you day one?” he asked, now angry. His thoughts swirl of betrayal and begging her to take his side. 

“Well… me and Heeseung may not have a good friendship but he’s respected me and never lied about council work. Or at least not that I know of…” she said and I was glad she trusted me even a little bit. “Besides, we agreed on these terms… Why are you trying to go behind everyone’s back?” she asked and he sighed. 

“Forget it… I get it, even though he rejected you, you’ll still follow him around like a fool” he said as he stormed off. I looked at her to see she was confused and shocked… 

“Uhm… I'm sorry about that” she apologized and I shook my head. “Thank you for trusting me, I–” “Though I know you’ve lied to me in the past, I want to clear that just because I trusted you now that I might not in the future,” she said and I nodded. 

I did lie to her in the past… with Jungwon and Sunoo. Even with Jay… so why lie to K?

“I’ll handle this, thank you” 

K was acting strange… he was also getting more annoying and out of bounds. He was crossing the line with her and with her soulmates. So why was he trying so hard to get her when knowing Sooha would be happy to accept him? 

It was now getting out of hand that he was interfering with her when she was happy. 

I made my way to HYBE academy where I tried to find someone to give me advice. “Oh? Heeseung, looking for your sister?” I heard and I saw Jeonghan-hyung. I nodded when he seemed to laugh at me… “She’s been out of hand with the council,” he said and I sighed. “With her soulmates?” I asked and he nodded. “She’s in the council room with one of them,” he said as he waved and left. 

I went to the council room when I heard yelling… 

“Who do you think you are?!” I saw… a dragon as I opened the door. She smiled at me with that dangerous deceitful smile. “Heeseung! Do you do anything?” she asked, ignoring the man beside her. He seemed to scoff and glare at me.

“I wanted to talk but if you are–” “Oh? You can talk to me any time, Hee. Jongho, it was a pleasure with this conversation but I'm needed,” she said as she looped her arm around me and smiled at him as we left. 

“He seems as hateful as his past life,” I said and she chuckled. “He hated me then and still hates me now. Nothing new” she said and I knew she wanted to change her fate with them but deep inside she still hated them just the same. 

“So… is this about your soulmate?” she asked and I nodded. “Hmm. I saw her with Jake… seems like they were close” she said and I scoffed… I still couldn't believe she’d forgive him even while she changed those bandages, seeing that burn on her neck. A reminder of what he did for another woman. 

“You’re an idiot. You love her… love at first sight. Not even Sooha has done that for you, so why do you keep pushing her away?” she asked and I didn’t know anymore. 

“You have no reason to push her away. They’ve accepted her… you're just being stubborn and self-destructive” She was right. She always was… 

“When you… first met them. You didn’t love them, you kept them as pawns… what's different now dear sister” I teased and she sighed. “The mate bond does wonders… I wanted so badly to succumb to it then. So it's hard to finally let me feel love for them” she said and I nod. 

“It’s our pride,” she said and I chuckled. 

“We really haven't changed, have we?” I asked and she smiled. 

“No… we really haven't my dear familiar” 

y/n’s perspective 

“I don’t know why he’s acting this way… I'm sorry for how he’s been behaving” he apologized and I sighed. “I just don’t understand… I thought at first it was a joke, a lie, but I didn’t expect him to genuinely have a crush on me” I said and he sighed. “I don’t think he does… I think he just doesn’t want to accept Sooha for fear she’ll regret it” EJ explained and I sighed. 

“But… to fight with Heeseung? Why?” I was confused by both boys' behavior. I heard a knock when Sangyeon popped in. He offered a smile and gave me files. “I know it's rude… but I overheard, '' he said and I sighed. “Don’t worry–” “But, I may not understand mate customs but… sometimes guys will settle with people who they think can offer them comfort. It seems like K and you understood each other on some sort of level” he offered and I did. 

“I was also going to ask, how was the masquerade going to work?” he asked and I smiled. “Uhm. We’ll have masks for our class offered to the school. So the colors of our school for example yours were Red, right? You will be given a mask of the design of your choice to use, it's the same thing with the telegrams you have to use your class card. So IST Academy has the logo and the color red. You can write to someone asking them to meet with you” I explain and he nods. 

“I didn’t expect to get any, let alone from different classes,” he confessed and I chuckled. “A lot of the council members actually got a bunch of them. Wonyoung alone gets one each hour” I said and he laughed. 

“Did you decide on one already?” he asked and I nodded. “I hope for your own sake, it's your mate” EJ said and I chuckled. 

It couldn’t be anyone else. 

heeseung’s perspective

As I made it back inside, walking the hallways I noticed yelling. “Watch where you're going!” I heard… Jake? “Me? What about you, just cause you’re up and cozy with y/n you think you–" "Shut up!” Jake yelled now pissed as he grabbed his collar and I sighed. 

I could see Jake was close to swinging and turning violent. “Jake, let him go,” I said and he glared at me. “I did nothing wrong–” “I know, but you should be a bigger person. Something he should learn from” I said and he laughed and let me peel him away from the wolf who scoffed. 

“A bigger person would never harm his mate–” “A bigger person wouldn’t chase another’s mate,” I said and scoffed. “You’re a hypocrite Lee Heeseung,” he said and I rolled my eyes. 

“No, I'm not… I’ve never been in a romantic relationship or tried with your mate. I may have rejected mine, but I didn’t for another person” I said and he looked confused. My actions… didn’t show it but it was true. 

“Stop picking fights with council members… y/n wouldn’t like hearing that you hurt Jake or any of them,” I said and he scoffed and walked away. 

“Thanks… for actually taking my side,” Jake said and I sighed. “You weren’t in the wrong this time,” I said and he scoffed. “What's that supposed to mean?!” he yelled and I laughed. “Just don’t get into too much trouble,” I teased and he laughed. 

“You know I missed this Heeseung,” he said and I sighed. “Jake?” I said and he looked at me with a smile. He really was improving, he was also happy. 

“I’m sorry for being such a bastard these last few months”

We went back to the dorm when I saw them all… just how long did it take them to join sides? 

“Jake, are you okay?” I heard Jay ask him, seeing that he was a bit roughed up. “Oh? Yeah, just K being a jealous dog” he said and I laughed. 

“Heeseung helped me though… K seems to listen to you more” he said and I shrugged. “Heeseung is not being a jerk for once?” Jay teased and I glared. “Oh shut up,” I said and he laughed. 

“So you're back to normal? Got the stick out of your ass?” Sunghoon said and I scoffed. ��I wouldn’t talk so lightly, Sunghoon,” I said and he laughed. 

“Why have you been such a jerk recently?” Sunoo asked and I sighed. “Do you know how… I told you guys I was a witch?” I said and they nodded. “I went to the younger sister school of Bright Sun. For the one for kids, I shared a class with a girl named l/n y/n”

I was happy that I finally seemed to be on good terms with them now. 

Now they seemed to understand my behavior and I admit how much of a bastard I was to them. How mean and cruel I acted… but everything was okay. Just like it was before, just with the girl I used to have a crush on. Who knew she was my soulmate?

I made it to the view of the ocean where I saw K. 

“You really need to let go of your insecurities,” I said and he noticed me there. “Go–” “You need to fix it… send Sooha that card you wrote, sign your name and she’ll come running to you” I said and he didn’t say anything. 

“I wrote a letter to y/n, not Sooha,” he said and I sighed. “It's impossible to lie to K. You did send her a letter but she won’t choose it… she organized all the piles and didn’t even read any confession that didn’t come from Decelis,” I said and he knew it was true. 

“You don’t like her… you’re just jealous she’s happy,” I said and he chuckled. “How can I ever be with Sooha when you're around?” he asked and I sighed. “Sooha doesn’t like me, and I don’t like her. I have to bite my tongue from telling her how stupid and naive she’s being to my mate. But love blinds you K, and nothing more important than the person you love” I said and he only stared at me. 

“Why… are you speaking as if you love her? You rejected her first…” he said and I chuckled.

“Because I loved her even before I died”
