hayoon had to admit that her relationship with dongrim had gotten better in the last few months. they had resolved a lot of their misunderstandings over the years, and she had forgiven him for disappearing out of her life. they had both done things wrong in that respect, and it was only now that they could make up for the lost years. there was no reason to continue fighting over nothing. they had just finished up dinner at his place, hyunwoo staying with her parents while they met when he sneezed and began to sniffle. “bless you,” she noted before looking up and noticing that he didn’t look too good. was he sick? “here, why don’t you just go sit on the couch? i’ll clean up,” she noted to him, ushering him to the living room before moving back and getting the dishes settled. “do you want me to stay with you? you really don’t look too good,” she exclaimed, lifting a hand to his forehead, which was hotter than she had anticipated. “i can stay with you and take care of you,” she noted softly, disappearing quickly to find medicine and water to bring it back to him. with that sorted away, she wrapped a blanket around him and took a seat on the ground next to the couch. “i’ll be here if you need me,” she exclaimed, holding his hand and patting it gently, drifting off to sleep only once she realized he was completely out as well.
