comes in with another blood sucking hc but for fgo. i do feel like yakumo even in the fgo verse still has the risk of potentially losing himself (after all, revenants do need blood to be able to fight against the risk of turning into a lost) ... hence why he is a berserker class. he has that madness looming over his head wherever he goes. he probably drinks from his master to get through but he feels so bad about it bc he really does not like drinking from ppl (he doesnt like treating people as like resources after all) but he has no choice since theres like ... no blood beads in the world of fgo.

I feel like I'm being gaslighted with how many people are still denying the meaning of 保護者.

It doesn't mean guardian as in protector or bodyguard or watchdog.

It means guardian as in an adult that cares for a child in place of their parent.

Nowadays, even biological parents are referred to as hogosha, because no one wants to assume.

Hogosha means parent or parental figure.

Regardless of the setting of a story, if a modern person speaking modern Japanese refers to a character in that story as a hogosha, that person means parent or parental figure, because that is the meaning of the word.

You don't even have to take my word for it! Go ask a native Japanese speaker! They will say the same thing!

(By native Japanese speaker, I do not mean someone studying Japanese who has access to online dictionaries. I mean a native speaker of Japanese.)

This doesn't make SessRin less canon in Yashahime. This doesn't mean you have to abandon your headcanon.

It means that Rumiko, when she was drawing the manga, thought of Sesshōmaru as a parental figure to Rin. No more, no less.

i think about how freakin dense yakumo is when it comes to ppl crushing on him. me gesturing to emily ... exhibit A but like when sb actually confesses to him his mind just

shuts down and he just gets awkward so fast and probably be like ‘uh .....’ like give him 3-5 business days to get back to you bc hes probably kind of flustered and isnt sure how to react

rolls in with my first hc about blood sucking bc boi am i wildin about vampires ... yakumo usually doesnt ask to suck anyone’s blood bc ofc, the revenants have blood beads to rely on and there is a shortage of humans but if someone actually offers their own blood, he’ll try to refuse like “no it’s okay, i shouldn’t do that to you...” but if they keep insisting, he will eventually give in but he’ll totally keeping asking like “are you sure” before he goes in for it bc he feels so bad. he really doesnt want to use a person as a resource after all but when he goes for it, he just so hungrily slurps it up ... holding tight onto their shoulders as he feeds into his thirst but he will do all he can to force himself to stop before he takes too much ... he’ll pull away with a mildly frustrated look but ... he care about the other person’s well being so 😔
