i wonder if halston is a sign of progress in a self healing journey in that she's one of the first ( if not THE first ) muse in a good long while that is more comfortable with her emotions. she doesn't mind identifying them or talking about them. there is a degree of judgement that goes into that. she doesn't exactly go spilling them out willy nilly. but, having them doesn't bother her and neither does acknowledging them.
