CHARACER PROFILE- Tatsuhiko Shibusawa (AU muse)

Name: Tatsuhiko Shibusawa Alias: The Ocean’s corrupted lover, Pale Qilin, The Collector Age: ??? (Appears 29; chronologically ~541+ years) Height: 5′8″ Affiliations: Black sun dynasty (Former)

Personality: Bored of the world, Shibusawa claimed that nothing exceeded his expectations but he himself. The man seemed to exhibit excessive collecting hobbies, as, he claimed to steal gems out of sheer boredom (Though he does steal and collect other various items such as Corpses, jewelry, and other various things that catch his eye) this earned him the nickname 'The Collector'. A man of intellect, Shibusawa was calculative in every one of his moves, proven in his planning during the dispute where he used the tide of the conflict, turning it into how he saw fit and furthered his own goals. Shibusawa's intellect and boredom led to not only arrogance but the belief that very few things can truly fulfill him, leaving him empty inside and yearning for something to fill in the blanks of his memory and heart. He believed no one is on par with him, and as such, no one can surprise him.

OTHER INFO- - A mysterious man from Khaenri’ah, former researcher on the power of the elements and the seven themselves- despite being from a godless nation, Shibusawa soon found himself enamored with the witch of the shallows, or the goddess of the ocean: Akinari (Divincs)- he didn’t understand it at first but he soon came to realize he had fallen in love with her. Though, during his research he had found a way to seal a god within a mortal form through the means of abyssal energy- storing such information away for when he needed it and never telling his superiors, even within the godless nation of Khaenri’ah seeing as how they would have no use for it. - Of course, he would come to marry the goddess and have Atsushi with her, though during the cataclysm and the fall of Khaenri’ah- he would have ended up cutting out his heart so she would have a piece of him before he died/was dragged to the abyss. This would only prove to hurt him as a person in the end being heartless as it ended up corrupting him the longer it went on and the longer he survived as a man cursed to live for the rest of his life doomed to be revived no matter the injury but at the cost of his memories. He soon began to collect the spirits of the dead, locking them within his collection room in the form of crystals- using them as an energy source to fuel his many revivals... - Over time, the cost of him losing his heart (even if it was by personal means) would begin to change and corrupt him, making him cruel, distant, and power-hungry. Going as far as to attempting to kill Atsushi before Akinari could get them to Inazuma to protect them, to put distance between the two of them... though he had something up his sleeve when she did. Remembering that he found out how to seal gods away within mortal forms with just the energy and magic of the abyss, Shibusawa used this knowledge to seal away his wife within a mortal form with no means of turning back- punishment for taking what should have died in the eyes of someone who longs for power; hiding away the antithesis of his own power (Though this also failed as he found Atsushi anyway and got killed by them only to return years later.) - Shibusawa still wanders Inazuma’s Yashiori Island, but far out of human sight- only sticking to where he can properly see the ocean and be with what remained of his wife’s power and her presence. Unknowingly letting his presence corrupt the land and the people around it (See: the enemies with the ‘karmic debt-esque’ glow and smoke around them) - The Heart of the Pale Qilin can be gained as a quest item- either helping destroy him or kill him FOR GOOD. (Though knowing Atsushi would be the one to do it in the end- being the antithesis of their father’s power... As Shibusawa was chaos.) - Shibusawa gained his delusion by killing a fatui soldier. He uses this to create a fog known as the Dragon’s breath.

       Something about this woman he’d never seen before piqued his curiosity- who exactly was she? And why did he feel so drawn to her? Even now he found himself raising an eyebrow, but he couldn’t help it- was she new? Had to be, after all he was incredibly well known in his field... Maybe he should test if she knew him.

     “Ma’am, if I may...~” The shadow of a smile appeared on his face as he approached, sizing her up to attempt to find a topic of conversation before- “...Shibusawa’s works? Reading? Or just taking them to him...~?” Motioning to the files in her hands before finding another smile while he listened to her begin to go on about his own work. Attempting to hide an actual smile from someone who... quite enjoyed his work by listening to her ramble on and praise him and everything he’s worked on.

         “I see, you know- i do know he still works with abilities and attempting to understand them, perhaps maybe... you’ll get to work alongside him~?” When he’s standing right here listening to you talk about him. But she didn’t need to know that... not yet. “I could put in a good word for you, if that’s what you wish-”

           “Tatsuhiko? You’re needed down in testing--” Ah. One of his...many co-workers trying to hunt him down, guess the gig was up, and it was worth it to see the object of his interest’s expression alone once she connected the dots- Tatsuhiko could have sworn she saw the gods above in that moment but he simply sighed and pat her head.

                      “...Am I allowed to know your name before I leave? It seems you may have... gotten mine before I could tell you.” The dragon found himself brushing off the urgency of his coworker to turn back to her, watching that dumbfounded expression disappear from her face before getting her name.

       “...Nakajima Akinari....~”

             “...and I, Shibusawa Tatsuhiko. I do look forward to working with you, Nakajima~”

what do you wish you could say?

"everyone else is more important than me."

you're deathly afraid of being selfish. you're also deathly afraid of being forgotten. all you want is to be somebody's favorite person, but that feels like a far off dream. you try and make yourself interesting so that people stick around you. it doesn't feel like that's working. you want to hang out more with your friends, but it seems like they're always busy or that they have better friends than you.
