Introduction Post

Hi! I'm Pastel!

So I did a vote, and people agreed I should make this introduction post. So here it is, I hope you enjoy!

Obviously Pastel isn't my real name but you can call me pretty much whatever. I am 21 and live in the United States. I am a fanfic writer. I've been writing fanfic since I was about 13 or so. The original fandom that got me into this was Creepypasta. I still have my first book of Creepypasta Boyfriend Scenarios posted on my Wattpad. I do go back and read it sometimes to see how I've changed and matured.

I believe I really became a part of the Slasher community when I was about 17. It was easily one of the best things I did. I really love the community. At the moment, Bo Sinclair is my favorite Slasher. My favorite horror movie, however, is Texas Chainsaw Massacre. Slashers is also my main community that I write for on here though I do write for others as well.

I have a boyfriend of almost two years. He's pretty cool, definitely one of my favorite people. I also have 3 dogs who I love to the moon and back.

isobel sawyer has never been good enough, and her family makes that known

the second child to a couple who didn’t want any more kids, she paled in comparison to her older sister almost immediately

her days were spent getting carted around to things she wasn’t necessarily interested in, but because her sister wanted to do them, she had no choice

in fact, the only time isobel really enjoyed family outings was when they went to the movies on a rare occasion; it was a time where she could sit in a dark room unbothered, soaking up every last moment of the media playing in front of her

the benefit to being ignored at home was that isobel was able to exist without much question; she had learned to keep her head down and her mouth shut, and she found plenty of ways to occupy her time

but because she was ignored at home, her social skills weren’t all that great; she interacted with her peers in school and had a solid group of friends, but she never quite felt important enough to consider herself to be one of them

despite that, isobel still joined clubs and afterschool activities, most of them having something to do with movies and pop culture

while most things in her life were uncertain, isobel knew one things: she wanted to make movies when she was older

she shared this information with her parents only once, and after she was informed that making movies wasn’t a respectable career, she knew that there was no use in trying to share anything about herself

isobel did her best to just get through the rest of high school, knowing full well that she’d move away from home the second that she could

she went unnoticed for the vast majority of the time, but shortly after she turned eighteen, that changed for a brief period of time

her sister had just started seeing a new man, and she was bringing him around relatively often; izzie didn’t bother introducing herself to him, but he seemed to take an interest in her

whenever her sister was distracted, he would seek isobel out just for light conversation, usually finding her watching and analyzing a movie, which in turn would start a deeper discussion

it didn’t take long for the two to grow close, and even though it was strictly platonic (at least on the outside), they still hid it from her family

isobel didn’t want to think she was going anything wrong, continuously trying to convince herself that nothing was going on between the two of them

but one night a rapping sounded at her window, and she found him waiting for her outside; she assumed he was drunk, but he had been perfectly sober

they talked for a couple hours, a movie playing in the background as they tried to keep their conversation quiet

but when he leaned in and kissed her, she could no longer hold back her feelings

despite knowing better, they slept together, soaking up as much time together as they possibly could before the sun rose outside

neither of them regretted that it happened, but they made a pact that it would never happen again, even if it’s what they both wanted

just a few short weeks later, isobel was packing her things up to move into college

she’d saved up by herself to pay for her tuition, earning herself several scholarships and financial aid to assist her along the way

her move to greenview felt seamless and right, and it didn’t take her long to build a life there

she met new friends in her classes and joined clubs where she didn’t hesitate to dive in head first

but her priorities were still heavily in making films, and even though she had a social life, she put work above all else

isobel earned her first internship after she graduated college; her tasks were mostly sorting mail and doing coffee runs, but she enjoyed it all the same

it wasn’t until she’d been with the same production company for several years that they decided to hire her own and put her on the payroll, but the income she brought in front it wasn’t nearly enough

and so she had to supplement by getting a job at the siren’s call working behind the bar; her friendly attitude made her popular with the regulars, and any tips she earned went right to her bills

isobel has been in greenview for about ten years now, and while she still struggles financially, she doesn’t mind it

she lives in an apartment she can’t afford, but she’s turned it into a very cozy home that she refuses to leave

while she’s cut off all contact with her parents and sister, she still keeps in contact with her siblings (ex)boyfriend

they’re still incredibly close after all these years, and are always in a constant planning stage for him to come visit her

deep down, isobel knows that she loves him, but she’s nervous to see him and hopes that they permanently stay in the planning stage

she’s a confirmed workaholic; if isobel isn’t slinging drinks behind the bar, then she’s sat at her desk at the production company, filtering through scripts and possible projects to work on

her life seems a little boring on the outside, but she doesn’t much mind it; the more she keeps her head down, the less people will try to get to know her

HISTORY;

the product of a one night stand that turned into something more for nine months.

her mother tried to stay but ended up confessing to her father about the other life she had. a husband that wanted her back, two beautiful children that were missing their mother. she told him she couldn't stay and she had to go back, leaving him with a newborn infant.

as the years went on, the more resentful her father became. as she got older, the more independent she had to become.

it wasn't until she befriended the boy next door where her life became a little easier.

in the summers, his family would whisk her away to marina and during one of those summers she met the other half of herself.

something she would be in denial about for years.

his name was dante, he was unlike any other person she's ever met before the two of the clicked as if they knew each other their whole lives.

she knew his dark history and he knew hers. in fact, whenever she went home he became the person she called all the time.

the boy next door hated it, he had feelings for sawyer and wanted her so when they were seventeen he told her he had feelings for her (told everything he knew she needed to hear) and they were dating.

he was manipulative in a way the blonde didn't see and would get mad that even when they were dating she would still go stay at dante's house during the summer.

a few weeks before graduation, when her father lost it on her after finding out she wasn't actually his. the boy next door took advantage of the vulnerability and helped her escape to chicago.

where he then became physical, emotional, and mentally waring on her.

until she was twenty-three, when she walked into their apartment and found another woman in it. he told her to get lost, go finally be with the guy she actually wanted.

she even called dante but he was on the road, living his dream and the last thing she wanted to do was make him come take care of her so she decided to be on her own.

it was a few weeks on the street until she found out her mother lived there too so she cleaned up and went to go see her.

when she turned her away, sawyer didn't know what else to do. it's when she went down a path she shouldn't have.

it lead to three blurry years, a boy, and then an overdose.

it brought her to marina, it gave her the gift of seeing the dead (one she wouldn't notice for a year)

her and dante became more, got pregnant and have now been parents for a year to a little girl named vivian lissette kidd and a little boy named vincent leonardo kidd.

viv goes by liss and vincent goes by vince.

it's been the best year of her life but lately she's been seeing people that no one else can see and she hasn't been sure what to do with it.
