A knife that was very clearly dug out of the dirt. He looks at the wrapped gift after having torn the wrapping off, and then at the Dredge. What an odd creature. He takes the knife, however, and once more goes into his house.

It's another weapon that he can use, and the Shape is appreciative of that.

Murder is in his eyes but he takes the pumpkin and slams the door. Where is that hook he just got? It would surely come in handy right now, especially considering the other's history now with Michael. The wrath of this older man is not one many wishes to receive, but clearly, Frank liked punishment and to test just how far he can push things.

He is, however, lucky he can't find the hook and just remains inside. This time.

When he goes to pick up the pumpkin, it blinds him and the rage he feels grows immensely. Whoever did this, they are lucky he is still learning people and their habits. So rather than focus on finding the person? The Shape is instead going to make everyone's life an absolute hell during trials.

Now, this is interesting. He is very used to others being scared of him, it is partially what fuels him, and yet they respect him? Of course, he does wonder who this is, he hasn't gotten to know enough of the useless souls in this 'Realm'. There was the Ghostface, Frank, and a sprinkle of a few others that have dared to approach in some manner.

So really the question is, who sent this?

Is it really just that time of year where everyone risks their life to try and show the living embodiment of evil something? First Jill and now someone... wearing a mask and appearing to be a teenager. It reminds him of Frank, that is not a good thing. No, that wasn’t a good thing at all, which leads him to look down at her with pure disdain. This is not going to end well, he expects her to quickly realize that as he steps close and the grip on his knife tightens to a vice. 

That is, until she shows off the frenzy. Blinking, he notes how it seems to be an Entity fueled power, and it gives him information on the possibility that the annoyance that keeps bugging him may very well have this ability too. 

He doesn’t strike her down, not yet, but this is as thin of ice as one can possibly find themselves on, much as everyone is. He is not his young self, and the sooner all of these walking corpses realize that, the better.

[  EAR  ]  ;  the sender bites the receiver’s earlobe. (dwight i know you need to take more risks in life but jesus)

Was he expecting that to... hurt? It irritates the ear beneath the mask but it's pressure more than anything. The fact he decided to do this AS he is being picked up to be placed on the hook shows guts, he will give this survivor that much. The Shape does not yield though, merely tilting his head to try and remove the other's teeth off of the mask. It most likely tastes of burnt plastic, old blood, and grime.

Was it worth it, Dwight?

He hopes it was because he's taking you to the basement. It's a longer journey, but you can enjoy the ride on his shoulders until the agonizing pain of the hook tears a scream out of those lungs of yours.

It is not often that the Shape manages to go through a different route of dealing with pain and shock and perhaps he had originally planned a punch... It instead ends up being a SLAP. Far from a gentle touch, the slap holds all the same power one would expect from the Shape, uncaring of whether this would break the person's jaw, and nose, or crack some teeth in the process. That does not concern him, what does manage to get under his skin, is the fact that yet again someone has come into Haddonfield and DARED to come into HIS home.

She had scrambled cockily about, touching objects and sniffing around as if she were a feline on the prowl. The silence that loomed overhead would soon turn violent which leads to their current predicament.

He had slapped someone in the face, harshly. Momentarily glancing down at how his hand did not ball into a fist like intended, he goes instead to unclip his halligan and ready up for round two with the intruder.

What was this man waiting for? The other survivors were dead and he was supposed to be frantically opening the exit gate. What a pathetic sight, the Shape muses for a brief second as he takes in the posture of the younger man. He could have opened it by now, or even found the hatch, and yet he was waiting there as if either to mock him or to surrender to his demise. Neither were good options for Jake. This living Boogeyman never showed mercy normally, but ESPECIALLY in a trial. Seeing if he would show it is asking death to not take a life, an impossibility when there is far too much enjoyment in watching the life drain from another's eyes.

Is she a moron? No, she is more than that if she believes the threats and flashbangs are going to get her anywhere. The trial commences and while he normally would take someone out like this? He elects to hurt her where it counts and that is with her teammates. The Shape wastes no time in ignoring her in favor of hunting down Meg, Dwight, and Rebecca. Their screams are going to fill the entire area and he is going to make sure it HURTS.

There is a vague wondering if she was the one that sent the pumpkin and it only serves to fuel this pettiness.

It was wise to be wary, for the Boogeyman is not one for mercy normally. He has been accepting these gifts but that does not mean he would be any kinder to those that have offered them. The most he would do is make their deaths quick, rather than drawn out... And that isn't much better really.

The cookies are taken and he sits on the porch, slipping one under his mask to eat it quietly. Sweets were his favorite after all.

Well isn't that just... interesting. He doesn't say or express any gratitude but he does take the cookies before heading inside. He isn't about to make a scene on this, especially considering it is apparently the winter holidays right now. The scent of pumpkin is noted and he doesn't waste any time eating them.
